Nope, there’s still the strange quartet of orbs in the box of what should be stolen weapons (What, the government had enough, honestly) that gave his workers the heebie-jeebies. 

Which is not the vibe he gets from them. In fact, he’s actually kind of concerned with how much he has to beat the Pit back with how quickly it lurches to latch onto the… Well they’re not gems, and he’s a little wary about touching them at first, but the Pit does seem to settle when he does.

Alright, he can deal with this. It’s not like he has several heads in a duffel bag that needs to be delivered or a tiny assassin child back in his safehouse (Seriously Talia, why was he the preferred babysitter?) or an entire gang in Crime Alley to deal with. It’ll be fine.

So I had a dream about Arcane last night which reminded me that I have to get back to Season 2

I've only watched the first two episodes but considering how ep. 2 mirrored season 1's ep. 2 I know the rest will be every pain meme

Plus this was right around when Christmas was kicking into high gear and things haven't fully calmed down yet

Anywho dreamt that Jinx made a robot Silco to replace him due to season 1 events

Ostensibly to get the robot to replicate his parental-y role but she ended up having to parent some as the robot was developing

Also during the dream she was dressed up as Silco and Vi a couple of times, not sure why

But it does make me wonder how that'd work as an AU because it feels like the natural conclusion is the robot trying to save Jinx from herself as it gains more of an understanding

Also the question of how it works but I'm thinking stolen Hextech considering...whatever tf it is Viktor's doing at the end of ep. 2

My main concern is that I know absolutely nothing of League of Legends so the focus would just be on Arcane but I am compelled

I LOVE the characterization, and how Sinistar for some reason keeps pinning king candy down like sweetheart calm down🤨🤨🤨, anyway, i wanna pet king candybug like the crazy cat lady i am. Like, you know how people do the gentle but crazy petting on their cats on titktok with that one sound? Yeah, that's what i wanna do to king candy. Like i know he would bite my hand off BUT OH MY GOD I WANNA DO IT SO BAD, anyway, continue writing, idk if chapter 7 is a finish line (i doubt it tho) or not, but either way, keep writing, EAT SOME FOOD AND DRINK SOME WATER, and have a nice day/night!!

Happy yearly "I pull out a Homestuck cosplay photo from the vault" day! This year's cosplay is my first HS cosplay and 3rd overall costume, Karkat.

Homestuck was a HUGE part of my con-going experience when I was starting out in the early 2010s. Tumblr was a big fandom hub at the time and you couldn't go a day without finding a good ol' horn or armsock tutorial on a cosplay ressource blog, so it really kickstarted my love for the hobby proper.

It made cosplay accessible, imo. There were so many goddamn characters to pick from and the base outfits were so simple that assembling a HS costume made for a friendly introduction to the hobby! I remember picking Karkat partially because out of my favorite trolls he had long sleeves and making armsocks was scary at the time lol

And the fandom! Homestuck cosplayers were basically everywhere and you couldn't take a few steps without encountering another fan to nerd out with. It had a big community feel that I haven't seen occur since in conventions, at least not to that scale.

I'm getting nostalgic here so I'll cut it short, but I have fond memories of the fandom at the time and Homestuck has been a really important step in my cosplay journey.
