Simblreen Final Gift: Snow Day Costumes For Toddlers

My most memorable Halloweens, it snowed. One year, the wind was so strong the entire town postponed Halloween to a different day. And everyone listened!! They just... moved a holiday. 

If your sims have a similar experience (or live in a snowy place) have the perfect way to get your tots the treats they deserve!

Dress up in two cozy sets featuring: 

A Super Llama Coat-Covered Costume (to match the family set, with some warmth for little one)

The Coat-and-Costume Combo: Mom pinned a star to the coat pocket and the classic cape to the back (Snowy Living req.)

Dressed Up Gloves: Featuring matching stars and ribbon accents to match the costume (Seasons req.)

A Winter Hat Llama-fied! Pinned-on ears complete the look - just don't shake too hard!

A Monster Onesie with a bit more warmth

A Toggle Coat covers the onesie you know and love (for storytellers, this might the way to stretch the base game costume from scene to scene) (Seasons req.)

Puffed Gloves protect little hands in a variety of matching colors (Seasons req.)

The Clawed Shoes simply had to be recolored too! Get a matching look that blends with the pants, or pick an accent color!

I hope you have as much fun playing with these as I did making them! <3

Ditto. I had the big storm in my area and lost power for a week, which was the biggest part of it. All my free time has become cleanup, unfortunately.

I’ve come to the conclusion Simstober is just going to be Simstober/vember for me bc I was having so much fun with the edits. 😂 Extended spooky season! 👻

I have been having lots of fun doing simstober but as you may have guessed from the posts falling off, I had some other stuff come up. I do genuinely really appreciate all the incredible creators; cc, edit, and challenge in our community, you're all fantastic. I hope everyone is having a great October.

Sooo this year for Spooky Day I wanted to go all out and create my very own set! 🎃 Just like most of us, my love for Simblreen knows no bounds so I wanted to try and turn it into something we can use to clutter up our sims' homes and get them ready for the spookiest night of the year.

My biggest inspiration for this set were vintage Halloween masks and decorations from the '90s, cryptids and a horror movie here and there.

The set consists of (from left to right):

box with spooky decorations (3,265 polys; 3 swatches)

spooky tube (functional tv; 3,578 polys; 3 swatches)

spooky party shelf (1,309 polys; 3 swatches)

DIY cardboard dancing skeleton (1,664 polys; 3 swatches)

bigfoot cardboard cutout (318 polys; 1 swatch)

stuff of nightmares (1,178 polys; 2 swatches)

mothman cardboard cutout (170 polys; 1 swatch)

the dancing skeleton craft box (2,295 polys; 1 swatch)

Most of the textures were hand painted by me and the Bigfoot and Mothman cutouts were inspired by this artwork.
