Hanzo yet again kept his distance from the young girl, slaying out attack over attack. He gave minimal to no gaps in attack, giving her no chance to ready an attack.

PSA

So as some of you may know Hurricane Matthew is currently on it’s way to Florida, gaining speed as it does so. It’s only a Category 3 right now, but by the time it reaches me, news says it’ll be at a Category 4. This is my first time with a big hurricane since I first moved to the state some ten years ago, so it’s a bit rough. Anyway, I just wanted to let you all know I may become spotty or sparce over the next few days. We might lose power so I may lose the ability to be online, but I might try to check in occasionally via mobile. That being said, the best way you can reach me over the next few days is either via sk.ype or dis.cord, which are both on my phone. I’ll be leaving both under the cut in case anyone would like to keep me company during the storm.  Any other east coastal Floridians, stay safe!

There was peace among the trees at night. Hanzo being swift on his feet, took a liking to roaming the forest when the light of the moon broke through the clouded sky. There was a calmness to it. Genji at this time would no doubt be among the others having a good time, but for Hanzo this time alone was good for him as well. 

Spirits wandered their own paths, always finding humanity before leaving again, but Hanzo’s path was different. He never fully enjoyed what humanity brought forth as his younger brother did. He found happiness out within nature, where everything would be provided to you if you just knew how to look for it.

He pulled his headpiece closer down towards his face, hiding what remained visible as he darted through the trees, only slowing when he caught the scent of something being burned. Fire? His instinct was to run from it, to warn his brother of danger in the area, but instead he crept closer. There was a small area within the trees that held a small campfire, and there was a body close to it. As he stepped closer, taken in by the warmth, a twig broke beneath his foot.

“—I don’t get it.” She’s bored. So bored. Out of her mind flavor bored. Johanna didn’t realize meditation would be this dull and totally quiet, not to mention she can’t seem to stop bouncing her knee as she sits cross-legged next to Hanzo. Alex had suggested to go to one of the Shimada brothers for tips on how to “calm down” ( whatever that meant ), so when she saw the elder Shimada in a training room by himself, she was curious.

“Can you explain it? To a person who knows absolutely nothing about this kinda thing?”

     “It first begins with silence.”

A bit curt of a reply, but one none the less. Meditation was something Hanzo had been practicing for quite a long time. While he may not be as good as the monk his brother had studied under, such worked for him. 

     “Have a clear mind and be silent.”
