Florida trip went well! For the actual purposes, my mom’s birthday, yeah no it went really great, it was wonderful

For my whole anxiety leading up to all of it, it went better than expected! The people I was most worried about didn’t say or do anything, but more than that I was able to have some candid conversations with my mom about trans stuff which was really nice, and I told my aunt I started hrt! She was the first person (outside immediate family) I came out to forever ago (cause her daughter, my cousin, also came as trans before I did) so I knew it would be totally fine, but still her reaction and support was still so kind and nice ❤️

Harmony gets some help from her tribe for school. She also applies to scholarships when she can. However, she does have to pay for what’s left for her university studies and other things like bills, rent, her books, and other equipment her program requires. Because of this, she works as much as she can. Childcare is a priority in some verses too when she is a mother but may not have means to stay home all the time.

In most verses where Harmony is a university student, she works as a barista at coffee shops. In some verses, she may work in other places like at grocery stores, convenience stores, or even as a nurse aide. It depends on the location of the verse.

There are other verses where she graduated with her nursing degree and on her Certified Nurse Midwife program, but there are verses where she is a nurse or physician’s assistant.

thinking about how like.. the winter soldier as a figure isn't as frightening or intimidating as he is just because he knows all these forms of combat, because he can use all these weapons, or because he's super strong and has a bionic arm. he's not a monster, and he might be technically superhuman, but he's not otherwordly. he's just a man. but he's smart. he's a tactician. and a strategist. he'll know an area backwards and forwards before entering, he knows all the exits, he knows how to get away, how to trap someone, how to distract. he'll snipe someone from blocks away, and it'll take just long enough for everyone else to figure out his position. then some of his kills aren't just shootings or stabbings. he's planting traps, making things look like an accident — making people question that he was ever there, or if he even exists. he's efficient and he's fast and he'll do things without anyone even knowing he was there. and he won't stop until he's done what he came to do. that is the fear that is the winter soldier.

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.
