Name: Akutagawa Shiori

Name origin: she's the only bsd ship kid I made without an actual name origin 🙏 I made Shiori a long time ago (I've been a sskk enthusiast for an ungodly amount of time), I think I just looked up female Japanese names and picked Shiori bc of the "shi" in it being like the "shi" in Atsushi lol. So yeah there's not really any meaning behind her name

Family: Ryuunosuke, Atsushi, Hiroshi (older brother)

Ability name: Demon Under the Moonlight 

Ability description: it's basically Atsushi's ability, except she's got grey fur with black stripes. Also in exchange for regeneration, she can manipulate her tiger tail similarly to Rashomon, where it can extend or sharpen. She does turn into a weretiger during the full moon, but they had Dazai deal with that, until Fukuzawa hired her at 14 for an "apprentice detective" spot at the Agency, where Fukuzawa's ability took care of the problem

Her birthday is April 2nd because it's exactly between March 1st (Akutagawa's birthday) and May 5th (Atsushi's birthday) lol. Her design is a little crazy, but please know that Atsushi is the one who cuts her hair and that's why it's that horrendous 😔

Shiori is kind and nice, but is usually tactless/blunt and can be really cold when she wants to be. Don't get on her bad side lmao

(regarding this whole "bsd ship kids" series, you're probably wondering how tf any of these very-much-not-biologically-possible characters are here, and since this whole series is just for fun, I don't really care on the answer; I decided on there just being an ability user who can give people children despite gender. Also in terms of abilities for the kids, they will either be mashups of their parent's abilities, or just something similar to their themes, I'm not the most creative person in the world lol. Once again, please don't take any of this too seriously and also ignore my crappy art)

Bringing back Darcy's post @whathorselegs about Chuuya's domestic capabilities because LOOK AT THIS:

His room is too empty. And seeing it drawn as so just enhances how bleak everything in Chuuya's home life is. The desk itself almost seems too out of place— why is it directly obverse to the bed?? Why isn't it against the wall? Why is everything placed in a straight line across from one another?

Chuuya clearly has no idea how to organize/fill his space, because he never had a personal space to begin with. I'd imagine the luxury of having a whole space to yourself was hardly available during his time in the sheep, let alone a whole room.

Let's not forget that Chuuya, at this point, has lived an entire year in this apartment, yet he still has no desire to liven it up.

The emptiness inside him, the turmoil of having no identity, forced his living space to lack identity as well...

to elaborate why i like atsushi and ryuunosuke better as friends (mentioned previously), i just don't think ryuu can get over the dazai situation right away like that.

ryuu is an abuse survivor. he went through hell and dazai is the devil. yet dazai turns around, dotes on atsushi and gives him the world, all while ryuu watches. so, ryuu in canon being a little bitter to atsushi, even after working together a few times, makes perfect sense from a psychological standpoint.

do you know what does not, in my opinion, make sense from a psychological standpoint? them dating.

don't get me wrong! i still think that, after a long talk, they probably would be good friends. ryuu would have to recount to atsushi exactly what dazai did (clearly, in season 5, atsushi is at least curious and interested in listening.) atsushi would then have to come to terms with, maybe dazai isn't all that great. he's not. i think, only after something like this, could i see them being chill together outside of work. dating, though??? i'm sorry, guys, it's a pass from me. i am all here for /p (platonic) atsuaku.
