Pv always there, during this like. I guess “redemption au” setting I have going on where pv really is the only one smc has left,, jus the idea that his other half is always there to watch after him n stuff, he’d eventually take notice of some things and would essentially be the only one there for him ! i dreww a littl something for you kind of introducing how I think pv would find out about it?? Kind of?? In other words he walks in on a little crash out and then so on and so forth smc becomes more vulnerable from then on with pv and blahg blah blah (click for btter quality!!)

I'm super happy to see you're enjoying the twins AU! As for Penelope and Telemachus, they're perfectly cool with it and love the babies with all their hearts <3

Penelope helped deliver the twins (along with Artemis) and is honestly sooo proud of her hubby for this. She was pregnant once as well, so she knows exactly what to do and how to help Ody through it all. She's his rock and biggest support in life.

Telemachus also adores the twins and sees them as his brothers. Honestly, he's been all on his own throughout most of his life so when he found out he was going to become a big brother, he was beyond elated! Dude spent days just losing his mind and going wild XD

The whole family loves the babies so, so much and spoils them like crazy. They'll grow up surrounded by love and attention <333

I still to this day do NOT understand how people defend Hanako in this scene.

Honestly just this entire scene I found SUPER disturbing and I don't understand how anything defends this...

Yes that's true but he DELIBERATELY didn't do anything to prevent it and even let it happen on purpose bc it was convenient for him.

Both Hanako AND even the summery of volume 15 paint the picture of Hanako finding this CONVENIENT.

It's his literal JOB to intervene with stuff like this and he doesn't do it bc of his desperation to "fix" Nene's life span-

i saw someone in sa/mmick tag in twitter saying that this ship is white propaganda bc it detracts from pearline/sammie and i had to stare off into the distance for a good minute. Hard to take this think-pieces like this in good faith when they talk about shipping in such condescending and inflammatory manner. also how they treat shipping like activism when its literally just convergence of random strangers playing make believe in small corner of internet.

My fav is Sammie and i think the most about him out of any character in Sinners, and Remmick comparatively is treated by like scary vampire dildo for him LMAO (i still really like him tho, but it's fun to rag on him from time to time)

the plot demands Remmick to be obsessed with Sammie (only with his talent or his whole being, its undeniable that Remmic zeroes in on him) and like. As Sammie's fan, who am i to NOT utilize the clear text of the movie for my entertainment? Why shouldn't i use the canon plot to further my expression of appreciation on Sammie? My way of appreciating him, which includes shipping him with the Big Bad of the movie, is not anymore less valid than anyone's.

I understand the movie and its allegory to toxic, unhealthy cultural/racial assimilation and i also can switch on my shipping brain when im in fandom. Most samm/ck shippers treat sammie like the talented coveted princess that he is and remmick as garbage stank man, no centering whiteness at all in majority shipping posts lmao. Treating sammi/k shippers like we're such big blight when actually we're such small blip in Sinners tag, sammi/ck aint even explicitly canon like other het ships in Sinners so like... Do u think there's a Watsonian reason for why Egg goes full Hegemon when she fights Dimitri in AM, but not when she fights Byleth in VW/SS? Obvs the Doylist reason being that Egg is her most villainous in AM and they wanted her death to be sadder in SS, but in universe there would be no reason for her not to go just as hard in SS

AM is the only route where Uncle kicks the bucket before her, did Ananximandros and Myson gave her Thales' notebook revealing how she can use her crusts to turn in Hegemongard after his death, because with the leader dead, maybe the only solution is to watch the world burn by releasing Hegemongard?

(which is hilarious since, imo, she's the easiest boss fight lol, they could have released Nemesis'n'co from their tupperwares, but maybe Thales kept freezer's key on himself and Dimtiri accidently kicked it off in a river?)

So yeah, watsonian wise, I'd say it might have something to do with the fact that Thales, Solon and Cleo die before her. Did Hubert scout their lair to discover the notebook or random agarthans revealed everything when their leader died because they had to do everything they could to kill the beasts, even with their leaders dead, we will never know.

Doylist wise, I wouldn't say more "vilainous" in AM, but AM is the route where the "uwus professor" are more subdued to focus on her relationship with Dimitri and her "ideals", aka what they mean* and where she ultimately accepts to sacrifice herself, and not only her people, to reach her goals.

Also, I bet the devs didn't want to have her look to, uh, too adrestian when she tells Flayn'n'Seteth they cannot rule over humans since bcs ears are pointy, when she is in her Hegemongard form!

*I've already written a bit about the "parley" where both ideals are discussed, and I've found more substance in a christmas pudding than in that script that manages to be less incisive that PoR's optional "game over" battle line between Ashnard and Reyson.

Then, by lunch time, I decide enough is enough so I end up googling, is Sydcarmy canon? and when the answer comes out negative I breathe deeply, looking at the sky and telling myself:
