really feeling some kind of way abt ppl who defend tlou2 so fiercely lol. ‘that’s just real life’ ‘things catch up to you’ ‘it was dark but reality can be’ ‘hatred that strong is universal/normal’ etc etc cus it’s not reality at all lmao? and not only bcus it’s literally fiction and there’s no mushroom apocalypse but also bcus that level of hatred that leads to a brutal and bloody desire for revenge isn’t normal actually. it’s not indicative of real life whatsoever. most people don’t carry violent hatred around with them. most people don’t want to commit brutally violent actions for revenge. it’s not a universal thing at all. neil was trying to say it was, paralleling the themes in part 1 of love and hope that ARE actually universal, but he was wrong. and not only should we be questioning why the fuck neil thinks it is, you should also ask yourselves why you agree with him that revenge borne out of hatred that strong is universal and go to therapy or something idk cus it’s not at all. it’s a notion completely divorced from reality and humanity. like full offence but you’re all telling on yourselves.

How hard is it for them to find cops willing to enforce this? there's literally been. a total of 8 indigenous people killed by the police forces in canada since august 29th. over two weeks. across several provinces. one of them, hoss lightning, a cree man, was shot by the rcmp after he called them for fucking help. the other was a mi'kmaw man in new brunswick who called because he was threatening to hurt himself. they fucking tased him & then shot him. this is literally so fucking unacceptable. nobody's talking about this unless they're native.
