hello. fifth year slytherin, here. i found this journal lying in one of the professor’s cupboards - long abandoned, it seems. it looks to contain the mad ramblings of two people, conversing through the pages. i cannot seem to figure out who this once belonged to, pages have been torn out and blurred by water - so i’m writing in hopes another student might.

mcdonalds as a whole would send him on an impassioned monologue about the blithe of society and the regressive tendencies humans carried in their woeful nature, and then compare them to cairoyas to explain how "our abstinence from such monstrosities is why we carry the light of yozar within us. not even the war commander of the gods would have reckoned with such pitiful platters."

9/19/2009 Wheel Spin: being silly :3c Verdict: John, Mid-Ogre Ambush: 'haha where are my trick handcuffs?'

3 days’ worth of pages here because work has been eating me alive and time to write about Homestuck has been tragically limited. I will keep this so so short and focus only on what’s really important.

Currently, John is facing down two adversaries. One is the Crude Ogres, the physical challenge, and the other is GG, the mental challenge. I am delighted to learn that these higher level enemies are called ogres so that I can stop referring to them as Big Imp.

‘Hanging from the tree is your TIRE SWING. In a kid's yard, a tree without a tire swing is like a proper gentleman without a monocle. That is to say, HE CAN HARDLY BE CONSIDERED A TERRIBLY PROPER GENTLEMAN AT ALL.’ This is from page 27 (!!) and now on page 663, one of the ogres has stolen the swing and equipped tireswingkind. I guess any semblance of this still being John’s yard and John’s house is gone. The other ogre has taken Sassacre’s, while the imps have plundered the magic chest. I guess I’m thinking about how everything in John’s home that means something to him is now being used to hurt him, how he doesn’t get a place of respite or even a safe place to keep his possessions, which only highlights the need for the captchalogue system – for John and as a part of the story.

I’m so excited about Dark Kingdom Politics based on how the small imps are scared of the big imps. Thinking of them as chess pieces, it would not be correct to say that pawns are scared of rooks and bishops, as in chess no piece can threaten another piece of the same color. But seeing them as soldiers from a ‘kingdom entrenched in darkness’ (p.424) engaged in a war against the light, this fear does make sense, suggesting a more complex social order and NPCs with an inner life and a motivation beyond ‘grab object and attack.’

With that in mind, ‘You stop being the imp because that was stupid’ (p.657) is too hasty, I think that command giver was onto something. Your name is PAWN #413. As was previously mentioned you are AN IMP. A number of your SIBLINGS are scattered around this house. You have a variety of INTERESTS. You have a passion for SILLY HATS. etc. I am being silly but I really would like to get their perspective, especially if it complicates the binary of light and darkness in ways that might affect John’s choices further in the game.

But the real star of these ogre pages is the visuals. The ogres are comically big, to the point where it’s hard to get a scale of how big in comparison to John. Seeing John’s house from a bunch of different vantage points, and then seeing a single toe curling in through the window or a hand slamming down from the roof as imps react in terror. I really enjoy quickly flicking through all these different angles of the house. I think this section would be cool as an animation too, like a faster paced version of the one on page 250 – I don’t know which version I’d like better but it’d be fun to compare.

The Sweet Bro & Hella Jeff on page 663 suggests we’ll cut back to Dave now, who, like John, is preparing for a dangerous rooftop encounter. Goodbye for now John <3

On page 651 we are treated to the LONG AWAITED GARDENGNOSTIC REVEAL!!!! We just get her silhouette (and pronouns, on the next page) so while I think the spikes on her head are just messy hair, it could also be a fun hat. This is a low bar to clear I’ll admit, but so much media has a lot more male characters than female, so I do appreciate Homestuck keeping things more balanced among the leads.

John’s dreams are represented in clouds. The two other places we’ve seen clouds are above John’s house before he was transported to the Medium (for example, p.82) and surrounding Skaia as it is described by Nannasprite (p.422-423). So it’s kind of like John is able to see all the way to Skaia in his dreams, and he sees his dad, a birthday cake, a box of Gushers, a harlequin emblem, Slimer, Harry Anderson, and finally his friend gardenGnostic. We then get a quick flash through the Sburb installation screen, a pumpkin, and a spirograph, as John suddenly wakes. Seeing the installation screen is especially wild – it’s like Sburb is reloading in his mind as he wakes.

Getting the GG sighting almost felt like a ‘be careful what you wish for’ moment, because John’s conversation with her on page 652 is the most frustrating thing I’ve ever read. If someone tried to message me like this I would block them. In past conversations GG has seemed mysterious, now she’s just obnoxious, and I don’t know if she’s reacting to John saying she ‘seems like a pretty regular girl’ and is trying to prove him wrong, or if there’s another reason.

For example, there are definite inconsistencies in how she talks about the meteor that might have been near her house, and possibly other things too. In the first Pesterlog we see between GG and John (p.169) she says ‘GG: there was a loud noise outside my house!! GG: it sounded like an explosion!!!!’ and also asks John what Sburb is, and if he got her package. On page 293, GG reports back and says that she ‘went to investigate the explosion’ and confirms that it was a meteor, describing it as ‘pretty big’ while not being allowed to get too close.

Then things start getting weird. On page 382, GG tells Dave about her present for John, saying that ‘GG: he will not open it GG: he will lose it!!!’ Based on timezones this conversation takes place 49 minutes before the earlier one with John. On page 442, GG gives Rose the tip about Sburb’s ability to resurrect Jaspers the cat, although does not mention Sburb by name.

Both of these stand out, but have plausible explanations. But what really tests the limits of possibility is this new conversation on page 652, in which GG says she ‘was confused’ about the meteor, ‘fell asleep for a while’ and ‘lost track of time’, that the meteor is ‘hard to explain’ but she ‘know[s] what it is now’ and strangest of all, ‘and now i know everythings going to be ok!!!’

????????

So originally I was wondering if GG might be two people, twins perhaps, one who has a psychic connection with a god or other powerful entity and one who doesn’t. That doesn’t explain how an explosion (that could be confused for a meteor) could prophesize good fortune, though. What might explain it is a UFO crash, manned by aliens who were somehow able to share some knowledge with GG. Given John’s movies, it is about time we got some aliens in this story. Honestly I’m pretty lost and don’t have a solid theory that explains everything even after sitting on it for a few days, but Rose and Dave are right. There’s something weird going on with this girl.

Synopsis:

The reflection was never too kind, especially to Leviathan. He couldn’t look at himself the same. With her it made it so much easier…. But she’s a human. And he’s a demon…. How could she love such an ugly creature?

This writing is based on one of my various stories, called Haunted Family. Could go into the lore if you guys really want, but long story short follows a family full of monsters and has demon lords which represent the seven deadly sins. Yes I slightly took this concept from Obey Me but I swear they’re different dhskshsjshsj 🙁

Asmodeus waved goodbye to his older brother as he began to walk away to the portal of his realm. He looked down and sighed. A visit with his younger brother was always…. Pleasant. But it always reminded him of what he envied.

Leviathan walked through the portal and looked around his room. He realized Livana wasn’t home quite yet. Good, that meant he could prepare something for when she got home. She was a human, after all. She needed the food.

He stopped in front of his half shattered mirror and stared into it for a moment. His face was littered with mismatched patches of skin and the horrid…. Scars. He put his hands to them, feeling the roughness of the burn skin around his face. He looked down. Asmodeus didn’t have burned skin…. None of his brothers besides Lucifer did…. But his burned skin wasn’t noticeable since they were on his back. Leviathan’s was very noticeable. They were all over his body, primarily his face.

He shook his head, glancing down at the photo of Livana he kept on his desk. He thought for a moment.

Belphegor was worthy of his partner…. Asmodeus was worthy of his…. Even Satan was worthy of that stupid angel…. But was he worthy of Livana? The answer was “no” in his eyes. She was so beautiful—so perfect. He wasn’t. He was far from it. He would always be far from perfect. Anything but.

The curse of being a demon of envy; a being of pure jealously and hatred to the world…. Is that he would never be happy with himself. He never would. He would always hate himself. Hate others for what they had and he didn’t.

From his blue and green hair, to his grey eyes that he could barely see out of sometimes without his contacts in, to his burned, miscolored skin that stung every time he let out tears.

To his horns that didn’t curve but just stuck up from his head, to his odd looking ears that resembled a sea creature, to his hands that had long claws and turned black at the beginning of his knuckles.

To the various roughs scales on his skin, to the few fins matching his monstrous ears that found themself hidden under his clothes, to his slightly spiked tail covered in rough scales.

To the way he acted, to the way his voice sounded, to the mere way everyone seemed so carefree and he wasn’t.

Everything. He hated EVERYTHING about himself. And damnit, it hurt. It hurt so much. He hated himself so much. He could never really control that. He would never love himself. As a creature of jealousy and hatred…. He was destined to this, was he not?

He was so wrapped up in his thoughts, he didn’t hear his lovely human come home. She found her way to his room and was about to announce her presence before she noticed he was on the floor. He looked so dazed, so angry. His arms were crossed and his long claws were digging into his skin deeply. Enough to make him bleed through his clothes.

Livana stared for a moment as she got closer. She gently sat in front of him and touched his fast, which made the demon lord flinch. He looked up, ready to kill someone until he realized it was—

“Liv….?”

“Hi, my love.” She whispered softly, looking at him with concern. “…Did you get too wrapped up in your thoughts, again…?”

“Wh— No, I—“ He stopped and realized he was on the floor, that his arms were stinging from the desperate grasp he had on them. He looked at her and looked away. Livana placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

“You’ll heal soon….”

“I know.”

Livana gently grabbed the demon’s hand and placed her other on his face to make him look at her. He stared at her face. Her deep green eyes, her flawless skin with all of her piercings, and her shoulder length raven colored hair…. All things he loved about her. It made him feel better—much more calm. He felt his body become limp against her touch, leaning into it subconsciously.

“What’s wrong?”

“I…. I don’t know…. Sorry…. Let’s get to—“

“Not so fast.” She sat him down as soon as he tried to stand up. “You do know…. Just tell me? Please?”

“…I… thought too hard, again… it’s…. Nothing it’s really—“

Before he could say anything more, Livana hugged Leviathan close to her chest. He froze, looking down for a moment. He felt his eyes sting, blood forming rather than tears. He let them fall as he cried into her. She winced at the feeling of the blood on her skin, but she ran a hand through his hair gently.

“Leviathan…. You know you’re just as pretty as the rest of them, right? You’re just as good as them too…. Must we go through the reasons, again?”

“…F-Fine…”

“Let’s start then.” Livana pulled him back slightly so he could look at her. He looked at her with his blood filled eyes, which made her frown. She gently wiped the blood as much as she could, kissing his head once more.

“Your hair, eye color, ears, tail, scales, and everything else that seems… fish-like, is a correlation to your species of demon. Your horns and claws make you unique as a demon. Do you think any other of your kind, or any demon in general, is ugly or anything of the sorts because of those aspects?” Leviathan shook his head, looking at his girlfriend as she continued to speak.

“The various patches of different skin tones, including the black fade on your hands, are things people find pretty…. I find them beautiful. And many people with your skin condition are very beautiful. Would you tell them they’re ugly?” Again, he shook his head.

“Your voice is…. My, it’s amazing. It could put me to sleep. Your personality is amazing for someone under so much stress running a whole kingdom… you’re strict when you need to be, kind when you need to be too…. And you may not be as carefree as anyone else but that’s something you can work to improve on…. Would you tell someone they’re an awful person if they thought the way you did?” Once more, he shook his head.

“As for your scars….” Livana paused for a moment. She rolled up her sleeves and displayed her own from a few years back. He stared at them and winced, knowing very well what she went through. Knowing very well if she didn’t get help—she wouldn’t be here today. But his eyes also focused on his symbol on her arm, which made him relax slightly.

“I know our scars are so much different…. I mean yours are burns and mean you sacrificed so much….. mine are just from times it got too much…. From when I thought giving up was my only way out…. But, I’m here, aren’t I? And I can proudly show my scars…. Tell me, would you call me an ugly person because of my scars?”

“No..! Of course I wouldn’t… you’re…. Perfect…. Scars or not….” Leviathan replied as he looked at her.

“What if I thought I wasn’t enough for you? Or that your brothers thought they weren’t worthy of their partners?”

Leviathan stared at her and looked away, “But that’s diff—“

“No it’s not. Hun, you cannot just demean yourself because you think you’re below everyone…. You’re not. You’re not below anyone. Not Yoku, not Deity, not Lucifer, not Mammon, Asmodeus, Beelzebub, Belphegor, Satan….. you’re not below them. You’re not below anyone. Please…. Don’t think so lowly of yourself.”

“…It’s hard not to…”

“I know it’s hard, but I promise you…. I’m here every step of the way. Even if you can’t redeem yourself, you can still get out of this bad state…..” Livana kissed his head as he looked at her.

Leviathan stared at her and leaned into her touch. “…I love you…”

“I love you more… I love you so much….” Livana smiles at him. “You seem tired…. We should sleep.”

“…Not before you eat.” Leviathan stood yo and helped her up. He took her hand and lead her to the kitchen. Livana stared and smiled at him.

How could he doubt his good heart, she thought, he always made her she wouldn’t fall….

And she would make sure the same for him.

1. The beard thing

I have to say that I used to be of the same opinion, even because when we first got together he was a BABYYYYY (we were 16 jk) and he had no beard, no hair chest, no nothing lol. But as we grew up he obviously grow into his features and if at first I was not really intrigued by it, I have to say that it does looks so nice on him (I will never admit it tho, cause I complained about it at first). Also, even if he would shave it completely, I don’t think he would be able to reach again that level of smoothness again lol. He is quite hairy in general, so it is what is, but I don’t complain, since now I definitely prefer the beard.

But anyway…some anecdotes mhh

he is like very smart. bro could learn literally anything and I’m glad that he sticks to the scientific/economic side of academia or he would also steal my thing lol. He is smart in an “academia term”, like, again, when it comes to learning, understanding complex concepts he is the best at it. but when it comes to the most simple stuff he becomes silly😭😭

he is so slow when he has to do certain tasks, like cooking, choosing clothes,… Or like one time, he studied computer engineering for a year before switching major btw, so he knows it all about computer, programming, software, whatever, but I discovered that he had no idea that you could select multiple pictures when deleting them in your camera roll. LIKE I KNOW IS NOT THAT SERIOUS, but it was so silly. bro could program a tracker from scratch in 30 minutes and it would take him more for deleting 50 pictures.

he is like very passionate about me. I’m his favourite person or thing to do in general and it’s not my impression, he tells me. when you ask him “what do you want to do?” he will always say “stay with you”.

brotha is clingy af. like I did know that his love language was physical touch, but he could pass an enter it’s hugging me and it would still no be enough.

he once told me that the goal of his life was to make me happy and to make me free from work, so that I can write and do the things I’m most passionate about, without having to worry about anything. THE GOAL OF HIS LIFE. apparently he also told this goal to his father.

actually very interested in philosophy, he knows more than me, he said that he would never peruse a career with it, but it’s an important hobby of his.

now. I’m not a bad person. But when I say that he has no red flag expect the fact that he is with me, I mean it. Like he gives so much and I don’t feel like I ever give enough in return, just because he is unmatchable (also mind you, this is from my pov, he would absolutely say that this isn’t true)

Very passionate about health in general, his and the people close to him. Fan of eating well and exercising.

my mom calls him “Saint” because he has to deal with me. I have to say, I don’t always behave so well (YALL IM TRYING), like when he was doing the major I previously mention, he would return from uni on Fridays at 22:00, so the first thing he would do was taking the car and coming to my house. A couple of time, I didn’t even reached the door to say hello, I was to tired, but he never got mad.

He never gets mad in general. He is just a little sad when I cancel plans, I’m the only one between the two that cancels (I swear I’m good too, BUT I DONT STAND A CHANCE IN COMPARISON)

We are both a tad old on the inside, we are very chill, not really social, the type of people that wouldn’t talk at a function.

I was lucky that I got introduced to him through a friend (@/indac0) and after a month we got together. I love the idea of growing with, many people, even adults (ew) told me that I should go out and “experience” instead of staying in my very healthy relationship. But I would rather have grown with someone kind and learned what love is, than trying situationships that I know what would take me to anything. And I believe that this road it’s actually the only one that makes you understand what you like and the only one that won’t make your time feel wasted, because you already know that you are going nowhere with flings and that you will have lost time anywhere. Why not try something serious? Why not try to become a unique piece of puzzle with someone?

This is personally how I view this.

MAZONITE POSTING!!!

i could actually talk about Mazonite for hours i hold her so dear to me for no reason.

so i shall lore dump. all of this is subject to change but i feel like yapping rn.. anyways

Mazonite's the drummer for her sex rock band Eudialyte! She does most of the writing for the band but her voice is a little too, in her opinion, raspy and yucky to sing. ): What you get for 10+ years of chain smoking ig

She's in her mid-lateish twenties and acts like a college student who has no sense of self preservation. Her kitchen usually has nothing but juice, cereal, sauce, and leftover local restaurant food. Sometimes theres a bagged precooked chicken if she's feeling rich. Also the baked goods her girlfriend brings her!!! Those go fast though.

Mazon met Floyd outside of a bar one night. He was in his mid-late teens, playing guitar for money in desperate attempt to get back on his feet after his solo career failed. Don't worry, he gets another shot at it later.

She offers to take him in! Floyd's a little hesitant, as one should be when an intoxicated woman comes out from a bar after her band's performance and offers you a place to live. Eventually he accepts when she offers to take him to get something to eat. They go to some dingy local joint and she gets a burrito (VERY IMPORTANT(not really(i would kill for a burrito rn(thats all)))). She mentions her girlfriend over dinner and the wlw mlm solidarity is enough to convince Floyd he's safe with her. Maybe not the best logic, but he's a queer teenage boy and that's more or less the logic we all had at some point.

Mazonite has no recollection of the events the next morning but is chill with this new roommate. He's sassy but they get along. She dubs him her "nephew", which he doesn't exactly love.

Floyd: I'm not your nephew.

Mazonite: Why can't I be? ):

Floyd: For one, you're as old as my eldest brother. For another, we aren't related.

Mazonite: Consider, Flo, that I am like the cool sexy lesbian aunt you have been missing your whole lifey-wifey?!?

He learns to stop caring about the nephew title.

Eventually Mazon introduces Floyd to the band and he maaaybe has a little crush on their guitarist/singer, Aveil. What gay emo teen doesn't love a guy with long hair, a little facial hair, and tattoos. Anyways, the band loves him! Mazon's girlfriend, Renée is a bit worried that she isn't feeding him properly. He assures her he's fine. Renée starts sending more homecooked dishes.

Floyd joins Eudialyte when Aveil gets arrested for smth stupid a few days before the band has a show. Mazonite begs him to sing, just for one show, just one night. Floyd's against it just because he's really set on being a soloist, but Maz pesters him into one show. He ends up really enjoying it. Who knew being a band could be fun? Just like back with...well...nevermind. He'd rather not talk about it.

Floyd stays singing for Eudialyte when Aveil returns and he helps Mazonite write some of the music! Way down the line Floyd leaves Eudialyte to pursure his solo career, and the band couldn't be more thrilled. They are his biggest fans (: Mazon goes to every show she can and screams as loud as possible as close to the front as she can get. Bro owns all the Floyd merch she can get her sharp little fingers on.

Anyways idk what else to say there's def more to her but I'm drawing a blank lol. Mazonée endgame tho they are so in love and I could make a whole post on their relationship. They get married one day and have a daughter!!! :D

the concept of making a part two for everything is really weird to me?!;@#%@$% i’ve had my nct blog more than 2 years and in that time i’ve only ever made part 2s, like, 3 times 😭😭😭😭 and one of them was only bc i was deeply obsessed with creating evil weird lore… which is why we have the serial killer sunghoon fic…

Why I think Wanderer would be a better archon then Kusanali

So I come up with some reasons why Baladeer would be a perfect archon (based on personality, God criteria and official genshin writings and lore), why Kusanali is not supposed to be an archon at all (based on personality and archon criteria and on lore of other gods) and why having Lumine fighting sages and helping Wanderer to become a God would make the game and Nahida's character so much better (based on my opinion) and now I can't stop thinking about it

(Nahida is so selfish and noone knows it because of her acting like uwu anime cutie who cries for no reason all the time and saying that she likes hooman while girl literally manipulated her person just to make her believe in Nahida's views, used Katherine's body without her consent (and got it damaged, broke Katherine. (I care about her and her creator a lot, ok?) Saying that it's fine cuz she's a puppet (Katherine was showen as someone who's a living creature many times and even if she is just a souless puppet, she's still Sandrone's property), took away Scaramouche's gnosis with no hesitation even tho bro begged her not to (he was technically her enemy but taking away his heart was too personal, beating him up or anything wouldn't be.)

Listen..maybe I'm being too empathetic to a fictional charcater, but when she said she only kept Wanderer to use him, it was fine, if she killed him it was fine, but the moment when she talked about breaking his heart just to scare Dottore (she could've done the same with her gnosis, she wasn't about to actually break it anyway) really made me feel so so bad for him. Like I'm a bitch and I would bever do smth like that??

Another thing that people say is that "Scaramouche is evil" "he tried to take Sumeru away from Nahida" so is/did Barbatos?? Morax?? Ei even in her own quest was a bad guy (literally a part of Inadzuma quest was about Inadzuma needed someone more empathetic then Ei's puppet, oh, what a shame that Ei never made a puppet that was actually kind, understanding and incredibly good at politics/s)? Rukha too ig?? Archons are evil in one way or another, Scara said himself that their fight was an archon war (because Archons also fought each other for territories) And Nahida obviously lost (would have if traveler wasn't there).

We literally have 2 more canonical confirmations that Scara would be a good archon.

In my personal opinion Sumeru would be better if we just fought Sages and then helped Wanderer become a good God, Nahida could be a better character since this way she would be allowed to be silly child

(I just realized interesting thing that both Nahida and Wanderer were created (most likely from irminsul) destined to be a God but not being able to achieve this at first, hey, maybe they both could be Gods, we got 100 updated about desert, no way a baby can handle it by her own + desert people were treated as less "human" then others for ages, Scaramouche would feel so much empathy towards them!
