            The sound of glass shattering onto the street made you flinch, shoulders curling inwards as you ran around the edge of an auto parts store. You tried your best to stay low but that made it harder to run and you didn’t know what was better, staying down or moving faster. You whimpered as you heard Ratchet swear and hit the ground, the concrete shaking.

            You slid into an ally, shrieking as a ladder slammed in front of you. Your heart was pounding in your chest, ears ringing. Part of you wondered if you were going into shock but it was too early to give up now.

            It was supposed to be a routine check. Ratchet had detected a distress signal during one of your training sessions. After a few minutes of begging, he agreed to take you with him. It was the middle of no where in Canada and everything was normal when you drove up. The store did seem to be in an odd location and the longer you investigated, the longer it seemed like something was off.

            Ratchet had let you out to explore when Breakdown slammed into him, metal screaming. The medic had yelled for you to run and you didn’t hesitate. It wasn’t your first time on the battlefield but this felt different. The air was tenser than a normal battle, something unspoken in the air. Breakdown wasn’t the main issue, it was Knockout.

            You had only seen him out of the corner of your eye but didn’t stop to make sure. You moved towards the tree line, trying to stay out of the view of battle. Red keeps following you and the pit in your stomach grows larger. The growl of an engine makes you swear, waiting to see where he’s going. You crouch behind a dumpster and watch as Knockout does a slow roll by; does he know you’re here? Is he playing with you?

            You dip out behind the building, hesitating when you hear Ratchet cry out in pain. You don’t want to leave him but how are you going to help? Just as you turn to go back Knockout swerves in front of you.

            Your mouth is dry as he transforms; he’s so fluid that you’re too distracted to run. He smirks and quickly grabs you by the middle, lifting you to eye level. The look on his face turns from smug to something almost hungry, his glossia licking his lips.

            “Finally came out to play hmm?” His voice is teasing and he gives you a squeeze. You open your mouth to say something but all that comes out is a yelp as he transforms around you. The seatbelt is taught against your body and there’s no way for you to move. His laughter fills the cab and your skin breaks out into goosebumps as he speaks over the radio.

            “Come on Breakdown, time to go. We got our prize.” You want to question him about what he means but you’re paralyzed with fear. Knockout takes off for the woods and Breakdown follows behind soon after. You don’t see Ratchet and hope that he’s alright, even as dread fills you. This had been a mission. Just a mission about you.

Imagine coming home one day after having a fight with your family. You cried and cried until the tears stopped flowing. Seonghwa knew this would happen because he knows how it'll go. He knows that you'll end up depressed and feeling like shit, and he hates that you're going through this.

You arrive home, and he's waiting for you on the bed you two share. He sees your eyes starting to get swollen and red, the tears stained over your cheeks, and your nose is also red. He can hear your heavy breaths as you start taking off your clothes to put something more comfortable on. It was rough this time.

He doesn't explicitly ask you for sex. Heavens, no. He guides you slowly and with your consent. He sits you down beside him and you can see how he has a cup of cold water ready for you. "You need to hydrate" is what he says, and you let him help you.

Next is the soft touches. Not sexual touches, or any that imply any sexual intercourse. He touches your face and arms with the intention to soothe you down. He wants you to remember he's by your side now and that he'll help you. He'll always be here for you.

You feel empty, so empty. It sucks. Your boyfriend is doing all these things for you, yet you feel... empty.

Seonghwa knows how you feel. He doesn't understand it, but he knows. You both want to forget what happened. You want it to disappear, even if for a brief moment.

That's when things truly start.

All of this while he's kissing your neck and chest, and soft moans escape from your lips along with a few tears.

In moments like this, he likes to have you in missionary so he can see your face better and that you can just lay down and relax. Let him do the work. Let him take care of you. He holds your face and kisses you in the softest way possible. It's so soft that you feel it's unfair how good he is to you. "You're with me now," he whispers when he thrusts inside of you, and you know you are. It's you and him, no one else. Your only focus is him right now.

He starts slow and gentle. Normally, you'll ask him to speed up, but right now, you're hugging his neck and breathing the perfume on his neck that you ask him to wear to sleep. You love that perfume. Every time you smell it, it calms you down. It's a reminder of Seonghwa. And today, you needed to breathe it in like a drug.

It's not until he sees that you're completely focused on him that Seonghwa speeds up. He wants, needs you to forget the nasty thoughts your family put in your head. They're no good for you, so he'll wash them away. And you so happily let him help you.

The reassurances don't stop as he thrusts into you, and you're closer to your orgasm. At this point, your family is no longer in your mind. It's all Seonghwa, and he's glad it worked.

Hello. Can I request some headcanons of tfp Breakdown dating prankster S/O?

Breakdown loves you but Primus do you have a horrible habit of driving everyone crazy. He thinks your pranks are fun and doesn’t mind helping out most of the time. You have a wicked sense of humor and he loves when you talk about your pranks, your entire faceplate lights up as you explain. He does wish that you’d get better around reading the room though; there’s a time and place to do pranks.

It takes a bit of pleading but Breakdown is willing to help with some of your elaborate pranks. He’ll help you get into specific rooms or stand look out while you set things up. He draws the line at pranking any of the High Command; the first and only time you had pranked Megatron he thought you were going to be killed.

Breakdown isn’t the best judge of going too far but he will say something if you’re telling him a plan and he thinks it’s going to end badly. You don’t always listen to him and there have been fights where you argue about what you’re going to do. He is always on your side, however, and has taken the fall a few times with Starscream or the others. You always make it up to him and he appreciates that.

Being your partner doesn’t stop you from pranking Breakdown, they just tend to be sweeter. You’ll hide something of his and attach a cute note for when he finds it. You’ll make it so his shelf collapses but behind it is a hidden compartment with something he’s been wanting. He knows that you love him and the pranks make him smile; it’s easy to see how happy you are when you share your happiness through pranks.

hi can we just talk about how much finnick protected peeta? like not just in the games but after?!?!! he was the only one to not raise his gun at peeta, who stepped forward and tried to help him. he reassured him it was okay to ask questions when he needed to. he ran lines with him, told him he had this. even when he killed someone on their squad and was going after katniss finnick didn’t become violent with him. just retrained him and tried to calm him down, literally telling peeta i got you. and the line “peeta just tuck in there” I’M SCREAMING

so about the header that proceeded today's statement:

Viability as catalyst: Medium

i didn't know what to think of this part of the entry at first, but the longer the statement went on... was the institute in this universe trying to manufacture avatars?

the dice can't do anything without someone to use them, they can't be an "agent" by themselves, but might be capable of manipulation, so in that aspect their viability is "low."

the dice could be a "subject" in the sense that they could use further studying, but the statement itself was a very thorough investigation of their workings, so in that aspect their viability is "none."

the dice seem to influence their holder to roll them, or at least find more victims to roll them, and could therefore be described as a "catalyst" for someone's becoming. but, as seen in the statement, their owner can give the dice to someone else (albeit not without consequences), so in that aspect their viability is only "medium."

so what about the line following all this, what does "Recommend referral to Catalytics for Enrichment applicability assessment" mean? if we go by this interpretation, i'd say it could mean the institute wanted to find a way to make the dice even more potent as an artifact, maybe even remove that pesky ability for their owner to reject them.

imho all of this this brings a whole new level of context to the events of episode seven, of unknown violent agents going after an influx of objects that seemed straight out of artifact storage. was that the nature of the titular "magnus protocol" first mentioned in episode four, the one that involved the starkwall group? containing or destroying potential artifacts before the institute could get their hands on them?

it also makes their "gifted kids program," and sam's link to it as one of the kids being studied, all the more horrifying to think about. was it not just avatars in general they were after, but child avatars specifically? no wonder gertrude got so defensive over the possibility of sam and celia dragging gerry back into the institute's business last episode, we all picked up on her clearly knowing more than she's letting on but now we might know the shape of that information a bit better.

and one final bit of food for thought... this statement had a lot of familiar themes, didn't it? free will or the illusion of it, gambling and not-so-random chance, the statement giver being done in by one final hit from what feels like a bit of an addition... all hallmarks of a certain mother of puppets. doesn't it seem fitting that "chester" would use this kind of statement to warn sam about what harm pursuing the magnus institute could bring to him, considering the one his voice might draw from? and doesn't it seem so painfully ironic that his warning seems to have only driven sam further into that web?

What if Earthspark Optimus and Megatron were sent to the Prime universe?

How do both factions react to the pair being allies and TES Megatron having abandoned the Decepticons?

-TFP Optimus is happy to see that at least one version of Megatron and himself managed to overcome their differences and became friends. He not so secretly hopes that maybe this will inspire his own Megatron to do the same.

-Yeah, no, Ratchet doesn't buy it. He's long since given up on Megatron and while this other version does seem to have turned his life around, that doesn't mean that Ratchet trusts him one bit. Reluctantly tolerates his presence, only because Optimus (both of them).

-Bumblebee is understandably wary at first, distrustful of this mech that is so similar to the one that took away his ability to speak. But after some time, personally witnessing how different this version of Megatron is, he ultimately decides to give him a chance and trust him. Treats him with kindness but there's still some tension between them.

-Surprisingly, Bulkhead accepts it faster than you'd expect it. Look, he doesn't really understand this whole 'alternative dimension' thing but this is clearly not the Megatron that they know. Yeah, there's a sense of distrust and unease but Bulkhead won't actively try to antagonize this other version of Megatron.

-Arcee doesn't trust this Megatron. He might have turned over a new leaf but that doesn't mean that his past is forgiven. And if he was anything like their own Megatron then he's got a lot of things to make up for. Keep a close eye on him, just in case.

-TFP Megatron detests this version of himself. He could never even imagine abandoning the decepticons, the army and legacy that he's created. This version of himself is weak, pathetic and a coward and it's his duty to kill him. In the deepest part of his mind, Megatron can't help but wonder if this will one day be his own fate.

-There are some mixed feelings for Starscream. One on hand, if Megatron were to abandon the decepticons then it would serve as the perfect opportunity for himself to take the place as leader. Surely his own alternate dimension counterpart have already done just that. But at the same time, there's this anger and disgust that wells up inside of him when he thinks about it for too long. Because how dare he? After everything they've done for him, after everything Starscream has done? To just give up and cast them aside? Like all those sacrifices meant nothing to him? It leaves Starscream with a bitter taste in his mouth and a feeling of resentment towards Earthspark Megatron.

-Soundwave have never considered the possibility of Megatron abandoning the decepticons. It's always seemed impossible, crazy even. He knows Megatron better than anyone else, knows his conviction, his resolve and unbreakable will. Yet this version of Megatron forces him to consider it. It's a thought that leaves him feeling confused, devastated, furious. So many emotions that he has no idea how to handle. So, he pushes them aside, buries them in the deepest parts of his processor and locks away. Soundwave can't allow himself to start doubting, not now, not ever.

-Now, Knockout have never considered himself to be the picture of a loyal decepticon but the mere thought of Megatron, even alternative version of him, abandoning the decepticons and allying with Optimus Prime, is very amusing and slightly gratifying to him. He's always had the backup plan of defecting to the autobots if his situation with the decepticons ever took a bad turn so this makes him feel better. Of course, he would never tell anyone this.

-More than anything, Breakdown is confused. Why would Megatron abandon them? He doesn't know the situation in this alternative dimension but still, this mech was still the leader of the decepticons. What made him lose faith? What happened that made him decide that it wasn't worth fighting anymore? These questions make Breakdown feel doubtful and causes him to look at their own world's Megatron a bit differently, with some hesitation.

-Honestly? Shockwave couldn't give less of a fuck about these questions of loyalty and betrayal. Nah, he's much more interested in this alternative dimension that the two bots came from. Imagine the data, the knowledge he would possess if he managed to figure out the science between cross-dimensional travel.

-Dreadwing remains adamant in his belief in the decepticons and lord Megatron. He refuses to look at this copy of his lord and compare them to each other. They are clearly two very different bots and should not be confused as one and the same. As for the fact that this mech abandoned the decepticons? It is treachery of the highest degree and is deserving of death.

-Airachnid sees this as an opportunity to seed some chaos among both the autobots and the decepticons. She whispers words of doubt to both sides, things that will make them falter and turn them into easier targets. When everyone else are fumbling for answers it will be so much easier for her to come out on top.
