25-27 August

The last weekend of August is a hit-and-miss.

We plan to watch the Andrè Rieu concert at the cinema on either Saturday or Sunday. However, since the Balikbayan Box was not picked up on the intended 26th, we missed both the screening and the chance to watch it again without the rain.

Overall, we had a full month of doing our tasks, prioritizing our chores, doing fitness, cycling, swimming and most importantly relaxing.

The Balikbayan Box was picked-up on the 27th, Sunday.

Anyway, we went to visit my sister-in-law Anneke. She has dementia and she lives in a residence called BREEZICHT.

We took photos with her and let her see how I was making the video or photo collage!

Pinecone sprites, as their names suggest, are only found in pinecones. These ghostly lil' creatures are mostly dormant throughout the year, and only emerge from their pinecone shelters during autumn and winter.

Soot wyrms are curious lil' critters which are commonly found in households, although you'll rarely see them apart from the tiny trails of soot they leave behind. They live in small groups and can be lured out with tiny pieces of coal, which they love snacking on. 🎄💖🎄
