Five has always been my Special Baby Boy (I love a sad child with a tragic backstory, I need to adopt them) and his character arc just TANKED. and the Lila thing is honestly so creepy, both in real life and the show. In the show she’s known him since he was in a child’s body and also was in a relationship with his brother?? they had children?? they were in love?? and then having the actors kiss when she’s like 15-20 years older than him and they’ve known each other since he was a young teenager. and they apparently PLANNED it??

The only other option for a glowing blue sword is Keldeo (which whilst hilarious to consider Tucker being mercilessly teased for being a Girly Horse TM, did not fit into some backstory rolling around), or one of the Honedge line and he is. Nowhere near cool enough for that shit are you kidding? This man just about learned to use a sword, you wanna give him two? and then a shield??? He would be too busy measure his sword length to do anything with them early on. Also Power of Friendship to be how he evolves fills my Found Family heart with glee. He'd be so pissed off that he needed friendship, really? Not Supreme Coolness or Hot Abs, but Friends? Ew. Gross. I do however imagine he'd evolve after having Junior.
