Theory/possible AU on Kai in the neverspace

What if either Nya, Wyldfyre (those two were visibly the most/only ones affected by Kais dissapearing) and the others, or even Kai and Bonzle themselve somehow do manage to open a new gate. So Kai and Bonzle manage to get back to the back merged worlds.

But just like back in s11 with the never realm it turns out that time passes faster there, compared to the merged worlds. So for everyone else a few weeks or months passed when they finally manage to open a portal, but for Kai it's been YEARS. (Preferably at least 10 in my opinion.) The emotional drama would be perfect. Especially cause y'know, Kai isn't a nindroid like Zane and doesn't have any memory loss. The effects of that on him would be really interesting to see.

Though you know. I don't really think they're gonna pull that of. The reason that Zane usually gets hit with the heaviest violence, has so many deaths and so on is cause he's a nindroid and it's a kids show at the end of the day. They can "fix" a nindroid/robot more easily. If Zane loses an arm, he can just put it back on or get a new one without a problem, if a human/biological humanoid loses an arm in the show it's gone. They can get a prosthetic maybe, but their arm is gone, they have trauma and physical pain from it.

So yeah, my theory isn't that likely cause Kai might be the emotinal but not physical punching bag of the writers. It's very unlikely that they would significantly age up just one of the og characters and not the others. I can still dream and we have the world of fanfiction on our side. (Ideas for an AU name please for the case I get more ideas)

Y’know, I was planning on posting this another day, but since it’s my birthday and I gotta empty out my drafts anyways, here ya go! :D

Extra info:

+ Damian is 10 years old, but the Fentons used to think he was 12 bc when he was young, they were trying to determine his age using an IQ test. It was supposed to determine his mental age, but they made a mistake and thought he was actually 2 years older than he really was (bc he was a smart kid). It’s been corrected since then, but he’s already accidentally skipped 2 grades.

+ He was also named Alexander at first, but they discovered that his real name was Damian, which is why it was moved to become his middle name.

+ Unfortunately, bc he was raised in America with the Fentons for most of his life, he isn’t that connected to his heritage or culture. However, Fentons did learn Arabic for him, as well as join several clubs and groups in order to help him connect to his heritage. Talia is also still a part of his life, so he learns more of his culture from her as well.

+ Talia found Damian and Jazz when he turned seven. She began visiting regularly without revealing her identity, but Jazz figured it out and now they have a custody agreement. Damian is aware of her identity as well, and they have a civil, friendly relationship. (Meanwhile, Talia thinks of Jazz and Damian as both of her kids.)

+ Damian is raised by Jazz, and very, very loved by the friends and family that she has. Maddie and Jack (and Vlad) wholeheartedly consider themselves as his grandparents and Danny and the others think of Damian as their nephew. Bc of this, he’s a very carefree and happy child.

+ Damian still learned fighting and weaponry, but he trains under Maddie, Danny, Talia, and Jazz. He’s very proficient with bladed weapons but is trying to be better at melee weapons like Jazz.

Snatcher: Once was a kind lonely prince whose only talent was painting, often overlooked and ignored due to this. The princess' desperate thoughts turned dark and possessive, wanting the prince all to herself, even getting rid of her mother who she thought wanted her prince. The now Queen was more desperate, her heart and mind growing darker and bitter with each day that passed without her beloved... Soon it would all explode, taking every soul within Subcon with her.

After a few years of mindless wrath and pain, she 'cooled down'. Finally gaining sense and guilt, but since no one wished to accept her apologies, she learned not to care over such matters anymore. Her heart grew bitter, cold, and uncaring of much but the evil monster her beloved became. His very existence enrages her, reminding her that her kind sweet prince is gone and all she has is this thing, this terrible and evil shadow who took everything from her. But even so, she can never get rid of him, for he is the only one who will 'care' for her, who could relieve her of her loneliness even if his actions are cruel and taunting. She doesn't want to be truly alone, but he is the only one she can truly trust, so he is the only intruder who will remain safe from her terrible wrath even if she hates him so. Though she knows her prince is gone, she relishes the small brief moments she could see a flicker of him through the monster's wicked being. Oh, how she wishes she could grab her prince in that brief second and never let him go.

Moonjumper: He was once a naive but adventurous lad, a time traveler who shone bright with the moon. Crashing into the strange planet, he met a cold princess whose heart was as cold as ice. The man became a distorted time rift, cold and alone, wanting nothing more than to find someone to stay with him in his lonely horizon, especially his little princess.

Hundreds of years have passed, and he watches on with great pain as the sweet girl his daughter was once turned into a monster. All thanks to the monster who took over Subcon with that disgusting smirk, he made his daughter the monster she is! And she was no better! Being easily influenced by that monster and turning into a monster herself, they were both horrible beasts! Both were responsible for taking away his little princess! Once he has the chance, he'll get rid of them both! But since he is much weaker and scared of them, he'll abide his time until he can finally avenge his sweet daughter. For now, he searches for someone he could keep in his lonely prison, someone who he can raise to be just as perfect as his little princess...

Honestly the genetics of bending has so much potential, and in my honest opinion canon has completely dropped the ball on this. Especially with the resurgence of airbenders. Like did all of these new airbenders just randomly get the ability? Or did they all have small traces of Air Nomads in their genetic code?

If the latter is the case, then that means that the Fire Nation’s extermination during the Hundred Year War failed, because somebody had to survive in order to pass on those genes. And we don’t even know the exact number of how many new airbenders there are, at least not yet. Which also gives us even more interesting thoughts like: Who tf is Suyin’s dad? Because he clearly had a bit of Air Nomad in him if Opal got her airbending from genetics. Unless Toph already carried the gene herself.

Bending being genetic is easy until it's from people with ancestry from more than one nation lmao. Like Katara? Descended from waterbenders only, so obviously a waterbender. Aang? Again, full Air Nomad. Their kids? Very obviously are either gonna be airbenders, waterbenders or non benders.

If Sokka and Suki had had children, that child could have been a non-bender or a waterbender since Sokka also carries the gene. The kid might also be an earthbender, since Suki is from the Earth Kingdom and she might have earthbenders ancestors.

Now, if we're talking about, for example, Bolin and Opal having kids in the future it's more random: they might be a non-bender, an airbender since Opal is an airbender, an earthbender since Bolin is and Opal's mother is as well, or they might get a little surprise and get a firebender since Bolin is half Fire Nation and his own brother is a firebender. Have fun guessing when they're born I guess lmao.

My controversial opinion about Hob Gadling is that I believe he’s absolutely the sort of guy that “puts things behind him”, and tries to wash his hands clean of the things he feels icky about. This is implied pretty well in the show, with him blithely moving from soldiering and robbery to printing, from slaving to… whatever it was he was doing in the 19th century instead. That being said, this is not at all the same as actively trying to atone, or even making a concerted effort to be a better person, and I really wish fandom could tell the difference!

The other difference between them is that people care about Falin <3 People have given up on Thistle long ago, and he has given people reasons to, while people refuse to give up on Falin.
