I used their colour scheme for the beads and the charms are a firelight+a cloud that looks like Jinx’s tattoos :)
Turned out pretty well I’d say!!

Made myself a Sky bookmark!!!
Had been thinking about this for AGES and finally got all the pieces (and motivation) to make it!! Bought a sticker from Obi's shop, some sturdy paper, the red stuff for the fancy thing (I know, my vocabulary is AMAZING XD) and BAM! Now I get to have Sky for company even when reading! ✨🖤

A before and after of my most recent book bind!! This book was so cute and gorgeous - a fantasy romance all about a subby monk cleric who falls in love with a tall warrior woman. It was sooo good. But the original cover was a bit cheesy lol. I ended up spraying the edges with silver spray paint, hence the silver on the paperback cover. Overall I'm soo happy with how it turned out!!

A tutorial for making an origami heart, something that I do not remember ever learning how to make and simply believe I was born knowing how to do.
The pocket on the back of the heart can be hooked onto the corner of a page in a book, so you can use it as a bookmark.
Little freak paper by me!

How does one make a book mark, I too am now interested in making a Neil Gaiman bookmark
I’m glad you asked.
Step 1: Pick an image and print it out. You’ll need to make it so that the image only takes up a small portion of the page otherwise when it prints it will be too big (I use Canva to do this). Also, if the image has a background, it’s best to erase that and print it on a plain white background. You can erase it on digital drawing apps or really any editing app.
Step 2: Once you’ve printed your image, cut out Neil, very carefully. If you behead Neil Gaiman, there won’t be a Season 3 of Good Omens.
The following steps are for if you would like to laminate him and do not have a machine to do so, like me.
Step 3: Get packaging tape or any other transparent tape that is wide enough to cover Neil Gaiman. Cut a piece that is long enough to cover the height of him and place it on a flat surface, with the sticky side of the tape facing up.
Step 4: Place Neil down on the sticky side of the tape. You want it to be smooth so it is best to put down one end and then slowly smooth down the length of your cutout.
Step 5: Cut off another piece of tape that is around the same length as the first one. Try to line it up as best as you can, with the sticky side facing down. Smooth it out as you place it, as you did with Neil, otherwise you will get bubbles or crinkles in your bookmark.
Step 6: Trim off any excess tape. I like to leave a small space of tape on the edges because it looks nicer and will be more waterproof, tear proof, etc.
Step 7: Put him in the book and either suffocate him between the pages or leave his face peaking out the top of the book so he can watch your every move. (I suggest you don’t suffocate him as he is a national treasure.)
Also! This can work for making stickers as well if you put the first piece of tape facing down on a piece of parchment paper.

Today was a good day. I feel like it was in the true spirit of what ai said in one of my last post of having a chill hobbit summer, enjoy everyday things day to day. I started my day very slowly by drinking my tea and reading a bit, and then I went in my garden to water the plants and I just sat there a while looking at the bees around my lavender and it gave me a feeling of internal peace I really needed. I think I'll start doing that more often. I also worked on my garden, enjoyed the sun on my balcony before it turned way to hot to even think. In the afternoon I went to buy suppliest to repaint my bedroom. I won't be changing the colour because it would take way more work, but it's a nice lilac shade it's not too bad. I have never done this myself but I asked my dad if he could teach me, because I like learing this kind of skills. I am actually pretty excited to do this.
Chill hobbit summer activities of today (I am embracing the labeI randomly created and using this for my productivity and self care in the next couple of months):
Read first thing in the morning as I drank my tea
Watered the plants in my garden and did some working too (I cleaned up some weeds that grw around my berries and we decided to cut down another plant that was getting too big and was also a bit sick)
Sat in the garden and looked at the bees for a while
Continued crocheting my picnic blanket while enjoying the weather on my balcony
