being a fnaf fan who is obsessed with the characters is so funny, because three of my favorite guys don't even have canon designs.

my guy Michael just got pixels and a shadow, Jeremy doesn't even have anything other than a slip of paper saying his name, and Bonnie Bro don't even have a name, and I consider him separate from Jeremy, so I just named him Jack - and even then we only got pixels of him of when he was a teenager.

Although despite never showing their face, they have faced The Horrors, and they're all besties <3

Song Review: Bonnie “Prince” Billy feat. John Anderson - “Downstream”

Bonnie “Prince” Billy has figured out important points are often best made gently.

So comes “Downstream,” an urgent environmental plea featuring country singer John Anderson sharing lead vocals. Anderson’s twangy, baritone vocal delivery, unfortunately, clashes against the otherwise-serene nature of the song, but Billy’s nevertheless come up with an environmental anthem that can’t be denied.

Set to a melancholic slow waltz with violin and whistle adding to the sadness, Billy sings of our impeding fate with subdued anxiety:

You sleepwalk for centuries and don’t look around/at the progress of man determined and bound/we live in the ruins of another life’s dream/but nobody told us that we all live downstream

The track follows “Our Home” and “London May” ahead of the Purple Bird’s Jan. 31 release.

“Downstream” is an powerful track, calmly making the point humanity is killing itself and doing so with grace, humility and sadness.

Fun fact for all my Death Note musical fan gals and guys and non-binary pals

Ashley Loren had no connection to the Death Note musical until Comic Con, which she inexplicably was chosen to moderate and to sing one of Rem's songs for the Death Note panel.

However, up until earlier this year she was in Moulin Rouge! on Broadway, an adaption of the movie, and she was playing the lead lady, Satine. The owner of the Moulin Rouge!, Harold Zidler, was, at that time, played by Eric Anderson - who's Ryuk in the original English demo.

This also isn't the only time we've had actors from different productions together in a different show.

In early 2022, Jeremy Jordan traveled to London to perform in a concert version of Bonnie and Clyde as Clyde, a role he originated on Broadway, and a show also written by Frank Wildhorn. His Bonnie was Frances Mayli McCann. At this point, his role as Light on the demo was years behind him, and Francis originating the role of Misa on the West End was more than a year in the future, but they still went down together.
