A Bug's Life
Benvenuti o bentornati sul nostro blog. Nello scorso articolo abbiamo ripreso a parlare di horror, andando a concentrarci sul mondo del cinema indipendente con una pellicola affascinante ossia Wolf Hunter. ORIENTATION.
Despite his family’s confusing ban on music, Miguel’s heart beats to the rhythm of his dreams. 🎶 Inspired by the legendary Ernesto de la Cruz, he’s determined to prove his musical talent. When a series of mysterious events transports him to a vibrant and magical afterlife, Miguel teams up with the charismatic Hector, and together they embark on an unforgettable adventure. Through twists and turns, they uncover the truth behind his family’s past, changing everything Miguel thought he knew.
INTERPRETATION.
Coco is more than just a family film – it’s a heartfelt journey into the importance of family, tradition, and culture. With a touching message about strong family bonds and respect for ancestral heritage, it shows how universal these values are, even connecting to cultures like ours in Indonesia. Miguel's story of chasing his dreams despite his family’s opposition reminds us to follow our hearts and persevere. Beyond its beautiful story, *Coco* introduces us to the vibrant celebration of *Dia de Muertos* , allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of Mexican culture while showing how traditions shape our lives. A must-watch for all!
SUMMARY.
"Coco" takes us on an extraordinary journey into the colorful world of the Land of the Dead, where the importance of family, music, and remembering our ancestors come together in a beautiful symphony of emotions. The film follows Miguel, a young boy with a deep passion for music, which clashes with his family's long-standing ban on anything musical due to a painful event in their past. Determined to prove his love for music, Miguel embarks on an unexpected adventure to discover his great-great-grandfather's legacy as a famous musician.
During Dia de los Muertos, Miguel’s journey to the Land of the Dead is not just a magical one filled with vibrant marigold petals, festive spirits, and heartwarming characters like the mischievous Hector and the radiant Mama Imelda—it's a heart-pounding race against time to find his way back to the living. Along the way, Miguel learns about family bonds, love, and forgiveness, while uncovering secrets about his ancestors.
What makes "Coco" so captivating is its celebration of Mexican culture, particularly the significance of honoring the memory of those who came before us. In a tear-jerking moment, we understand that true death occurs when we are forgotten. The power of "Coco" lies in its message: even though time may pass, and people may leave us physically, as long as we remember and cherish them, they remain alive in our hearts.
The film’s soulful soundtrack, led by "Remember Me," adds layers of emotion to this touching tale about following your dreams without losing sight of where you come from. "Coco" is a reminder that family is not just the past, but the bridge that carries us forward into the future. It's a story about the love that transcends lifetimes, and how the memories we create become the legacy we leave behind.

Toy Story 3

I was actually able to find my Coco ticket from the day I went to see it. It’s a little faded and the ink kinda spread out, but I still have it. It’s such a special movie to me and will always be. It really feels like it’s always been there and it’s wonderful to know it still continues to be my favorite. If anything, I find more reasons to love this movie the more I watch it. Even after a year and countless vieweings this movie is just phenomenal.
