I got really overwhelmed with the positive reception of the Egg Chronicles comic I did! A big thank you to everyone who reacted to it!! If you missed the first comic, it can be read clicking right here.

Considering people enjoyed Egg Chronicles 1 it encouraged me to draw more so today I bring you the sequel, after 5 days of development, with fluff as the main ingredient. This passes a few moments after the first comic (maybe an hour or two later) after endless requests from Ash for Go “to try to do the Flame Body ability along with him”. And all of them were denied, as it can be predicted. But the young Vermillion citizen can’t be upset for the Pallet Town boy for so long :P.

I have more ideas on the table waiting to be shaped up (by the time of writing they are about four I would like to develop, just for the Egg Chronicles alone). Some of them are savage in detailing and what really happens plot-wise but I think they will be worth completing them, ehe~!

My girlfriend was the main inspiration for this Egg Chronicles 2 comic, for all the wonderful afternoon naps we took. My dearest, among the many things you already know, there’s something else you should also know: You are my Ash. I am your Go. That’s why I chose you.

I have been really forgetting to post my drawings in my tumblr page and I ask apologies to my followers, considering I am more active in dA and Twitter.

However, I had to show this savagely ambitious project of mine that I’ve finished after two weeks of intense dedication to make it happen. I wasn’t drawing a comic for at least three years!

A fanconcept (meme?) created by @spicycoffeebean​ / @zuyurio​ where Ash and Go are assigned to take care of an egg and reaction posts from other tumblr users based on this inspired me to pick up my digital drawing tablet and occupy my time more easily in times of social isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the comic gave me a lot of work it was extremely fun to make!

I would like to list here the pearls I found of the Egg Chronicles posts (to also help others to put things in context) and to thank their creators for their existence and for being a great source of inspiration for my comic:

So, to sum up my contribution to the Egg Chronicles: Everyone knows that Ash’s heart is on the right place but… are his ideas as well? ;D

​ I never thought that a random talk with fellow FriendFriendShippers about alternative scenes in the Pokémon 2019 could lead to a drawing challenge after some really crazy thought exchange. I had to save my honour and as such I came up with this savage mini-comic: What if Episode 16 (of Pokémon 2019 animé) was animated differently…

The original scene was one of the best of the episode but I always thought “Imagine if Go was unlucky enough to have his pants actually slipped off after such a hard grab from Ash”. My immediate thought about embarrassing underwear was a polka-dot pattern with Pokéball motifs but @slumber-ing-weald​ takes the cake with the best suggestions:

Mew (I know it was socks but I went for an underwear pattern 83c)

And the winner of them all…

Pecha Berries.
