This might not be a thing that helps your stomach specifically and it is a little on the pricey side, but I have a friend with really bad IBS who also can't have garlic or onion (or gluten, or most fruit, etc), and there's a new product someone mentioned to him called Fodzyme that seems to be basically beano for IBS - he still has some limits and it doesn't work on fructose, but it's given him the ability to eat gluten and at least cooked onion and garlic. Figured I'd mention it because it's been genuinely life-changing for him and his wife.

oh that's really interesting! also really expensive, oof. i'll add it to my wishlist and maybe if it goes on sale at some point i'll give it a try. it would be nice to suffer fewer consequences from my many deliberate and informed but ill-advised actions.

I miss Dragon Age games where I'm made to feel like my choices will have consequences. I miss when I felt like I had to think before making a call because who will hate me after? How am I screwing up if I choose this or that? Which is the smarter call?

Every single decision in Veilguard has no consequences. Companions will still love you. I mean Neve/Lucanis are mad at you for all but what? A few days in game and then its never mentioned again. They go back to loyally following your every order. Gone are the days where my warrior would flip me off as he walked off because he refuses to be a part of the call I made.

Hell, the one decision where you're even really shown disapproval is whether or not to punch the First Warden. And guess what? The people who disapprove? Never bring it up. Inquisition if I ate bread without cheese everyone would have an opinion on it and they'd let it be known. But Rook I guess is so morally superior to the rest that it doesn't need to be said.
