Posted @withregram • @transparentblackgirl No is a complete sentence, stand firm in that 🌿 Whether it’s not wanting to visit family over the holidays because you know ain’t nobody wearing masks, or not picking up a call because you’ve had a long day. Say NO. Often our childhood trauma will allow us to believe that we have to explain why or no is no, if we were taught that we couldn’t make decisions for ourselves. You can, and once you say no remember you don’t have to explain the fullness of your no, in order for your boundaries to be respected. #transparentblackgirl #blackwellnesscommunity #traumaresponse https://www.instagram.com/p/CHneJo9DGxk/?igshid=4h21bi8h6n9w

🏝What tropical fruits have you tried? Most people travel to try local food, to sight see, and to take awesome pictures. BUT, not me I travel for the fruit 🍉🥥🍍🥭🥝🍈🤗 I love finding new fruits that I’ve never tried before and adding them to my list of staples. ✨So many people feel like it’s limiting to cut out meat, eggs, and dairy from their diet. I believe that’s because they never had access to the abundance of fruits that grow all throughout the world. ✨My time living in China and Thailand, led me to an understanding that I’m meant to live in a tropical climate where I have access to all the fresh fruit that my heart wants and desires. The access that I have to tropical fruit is one of the major reasons that I love living in Asia. 📣I have a new post on my blog titled “5 Reasons To Eat More Tropical Fruit” where I go deeper into this topic 🔗 link is in my bio Comment “😩” below if you haven’t tried more than 3 of these fruits but are interested in trying them. #exploringessence #tropicalfruits #fruitbae #exoticfruits #fruitfeast #vegansofcolor #blackandvegan #cleaneating #frugivore #blackwellnesscommunity #intentionalliving #eattolive #eatlikeyougiveafuck #fruitinfluencer #healthblogger #wellnessblog #blackandwell #plantbased #medicalmedium #rawveganism #blackveganwomen #vegangoddess #mamaearth #healthyself #naturalhealing #blackvegancommunity #afrovegan #whatveganeat #veganbaddies #blackhealing (at Phuket, Thailand) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQVz-poBN5O/?utm_medium=tumblr

Did you know that sea moss benefits ya skin, nails and hair from the inside out? Sorry, not sorry, but the glow up really does involve care from both the outside AND inside. I know, I know, I wish coconut oil could make everything better too, but it is what it is. Get some sea moss in ya life, and if you don't like the taste, we've got it bundled up in an apple flavored gummy bear that you'll actually wanna take everyday. Hit the link in our bio to join our tribe/email-list to be the first to know when they're available and get exclusive discount codes!

Unless it's tacos. Then dear God, say yes. But can we talk about this for a second? How many times have you agreed to do something, when deep down in your SOUL you knew you didn't want to go to that thing, or help with this thing, or take on that new project when you are barely getting to the things you wanna do. This is me allllllll of the time. The power of NO is priceless and it's one of the most forgotten tools of self-care. Have you been using the power of no? Let the tribe know how it's working out. And for those who are going to start, what's the next "no" that's going to give you back some free time or piece of mind? *Disclaimer: I didn't say to go saying "no" to everybody and everything allllll the time. Find the balance. And when you find it, let me know cuz I'm looking for it too.

Really though, hit us up in the comments and let's discuss. Does it still have the same meaning in 2020, the year we've all been couch bound? No lie, the "chill" in 'Netflix and chill' has been real. ⠀
