I want to lightly sand and maybe hot glue suede all their segments to help them pose more easily. The plastic is just so smooth compared to resin. I'm also considering maybe sculpting some different faces for them too? The Antu faceplate for the last few series is getting so overdone.

and here’s doll number two that i got. an adou-loong fantasia box. i got the purple girl, i think her name was bing li on kikagoods, but ice glass on aliexpress? i’ll probably rename her anyway.

she’s completely gorgeous and deceptively bigger than i thought she’d be. her sculpting is so pretty. i love her wings, i love her tail, i love the darker shine of her legs and tail feathers.

her face is also adorable. it doesn’t show up well on camera unless you look very closely, but she’s got tiny white scales on her cheek. and sculpted scales on her chest.

and the claw! the claw!! maybe the top reason why i was so drawn to her. i love the dragon claw

and here she is dressed and holding her chain. i used the white fur to help prop up her arm. she’s gorgeous, i adore her, she might be top 3 of my favs right now. one of her wings is a little loose though and doesn’t pose that well.

finally bit the bullet and just bought the dragon bjds.

these are the Adou-Loong Fantasia Series blind boxes, which i got off kikagoods (as i pretty much always do for these bjd blind boxes) they retail for 39.99

i got two.

here’s the list of possible pulls. as for me, i really like the pink and purple girlies, and the one with glasses. there’s none of them i’d be upset to get, though.

but before that, i guess there was some little bonus thing going on when i ordered these, because i got like 3 mini foods and this little red guy included with my order. probably because it was rather expensive. anyways. don’t know what i’ll do with these, but fun little bonus. the bunny cake thing is squishy too.

enough about those. the first one i unboxed was one of the ones i really wanted! the purple one, Bing Li.

here she is out of the packaging. these guys, as the name suggests, are long lol. they can also stand just fine on their own, which is nice!

hair and faceplate. these guys have inset eyes, which i always love to see.

then we have the extra hands. these guys come with 3 extra normal hands, and a larger, color tipped-hand that’s supposed to interact with one of their accessories.

here she is all dressed! the fur thing is bendable and very long, so you have plenty to work with without impeding her arms. i think she’s supposed to wrap the chain around her hand and hold it, but i just put it like… around her lol.

next up, looks like i got Chi Yan!

unbowed. he’s black tinged with red. i believe the boys have a different, sharper looking wing and tail mold, as well as differently shaped ears.

dressed! he also comes with the big posable fur piece. i really like the little dangly bits of the ties on the side of his outfit, he’s so long that they can hang pretty far down.

and that’s the Adou-Loong dragons, they’re super cute! really happy with the two i got, and how unique and cool their bodies are!

We got our first Minifee last year, might be our last. Yeah....their dolls are pretty but also overrated as fuck. It's why I'm saving up for either a Withdoll fullset or a Loong Soul bjd

Guess who arrived yesterday! Unfortunately, while the horns on either doll were not broken off like others have experienced the Xun Yuan (blue) has some severe scratching on one horn. I've contacted the seller to see about getting a replacement perhaps. Bing Li (purple) is absolutely lovely though and I really wish they had done the semi-transparent dragon parts for all the dolls. The solid dragon body just lacks depth. I will likely be selling off the blue boy's dragon body so if you're interested, please shoot me a message!

Yeah... overwhelming victory in poll so I am not waiting for it to end. :D You all get to see me gush about my BJD.

I named him Shen Bǎihé. Sometimes I just call him Bai. A whopping 68cm, Shi Ze model, full set, Loongsoul. Hmm, I picture him as a stage actor. His outfit was certainly interesting to put on. So much sleeve!!!! @.@ I just love posing him though. I want to eventually have backdrops and props for pictures. So I am saving for some tools to make them myself because bjd furniture really adds up the $.

Bonus: My friends Doll for height comparison. (All I remember is 17 cm dream body.) And my lovely limited edition 2021 dragon bjd I named Xiao.
