#biggest thank you to all of you

Today marks the anniversary of the very first fic I wrote and posted, that being only you, ironically enough I knew nothing about brienne when I started writing, it was requested, I can’t even remember what led up to it.

But I’m here to thank that anon, and everyone else that has been following and supporting me for the longest time. Some people I see and recognize that have been here for me since I stared. That fic is what inspired and turned my account into what it is today, along with fics like All mine and Quiet time.

Thank you for giving me this cool platform that has led to so many friendships, introduced me to so many amazing people, and has become a safe space for me to express my feelings.

I have very bad memory, but I wanna give a small shout out to some of the people who have been with me for the longest time, and I thank you so much! Right now I’m at 1,170 followers, and I couldn’t have done that without any of you.

peter is the most expressive person ever and they'd never be able to Bat train that out of him so i imagine like. after peter is introduced formally as family they take him to his first gala and he goes viral for many things but one being a video where at first you see Brucie Wayne flirting outside the venue, and then the video quickly pans over to Peter with the most disgusted look on his face. the next video is Peter standing next to Bruce and politely asking him to stop being gross while clearly begging with his entire face not to disappoint him. Bruce does stop flirting immediately and as their conversation is directed towards people thinking Peter is adorable, the camera pans to Tim who was doing an interview but got distracted. He looks back at the camera and jabs his thumb over his shoulder and goes "We've been begging for years for him to stop being gross and the new kid does it in one day?" and Tim becomes a second meme of the night

Made a FANTASTIC discovery today regarding the meaning behind Boothill's fourth eidolon, I'm so happy!!! Most of it is just cowboy references, like

Eidolon 1: Dusty Trail's Lone Star- cowboy lingo, the Lone Star of Texas

Eidolon 2: Milestonemonger- more cowboy lingo, someone who roams and wanders

Eidolon 3: Marble Orchard's Guard- yet more cowboy lingo, a term for a graveyard (a fave of mine, because for me it evokes the image of a Church Grim <333)

Eidolon 4: Cold Cuts Chef- ????

Google didn't really provide much on Eidolon 4 like for the first three. Before today I had assumed it was just another movie reference of some sort, since Boothill is like entirely based on/inspired by old Western films.

"Cold cuts" are basically lunch meat/deli meat. It's precooked meat that doesn't need any kind of preparation- you can literally just eat it cold. Since it didn't seem to be a movie reference, I thought oh, maybe it's a nod to his lifestyle? Boothill is unhoused and lives on the run from the IPC with little rest, he doesn't really have the means to cook. Precooked, easy food like that would be a godsend for someone in his circumstances.

Anyway the original Chinese text gives it an entirely different, MUCH wilder meaning fjadskljfkld

Because no, "cold cuts" isn't cowboy lingo for anything, but cold meat specifically is.

"Cold Cuts Chef" is not a title talking about his cooking ability, or his life's circumstances, or anything as mundane as that, IT'S ABOUT THE FACT THAT BOOTHILL SPECIALIZES IN DEALING DEATH, THIS MAN IS EXTREMELY SKILLED, AND GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES, AND WHAT HE DOES IS MURDER!!!!!

can i confess something else that will absolutely get me stoned in the town square since im dropping my unpopular opinions. I don’t like altean broadsword Lance. i already disliked red paladin Lance. the broadsword was like rubbing salt in the wound. why couldn’t he have his own niche. why was his character development just making him keith. i understand that it was like “he accepts that he doesn’t have to be a leader and excels as a co-leader and you can find happiness that way yada yada yada”. but you could’ve done that without making him keith. also now give him something unique, cool, that falls in line with his sniper bit. i’m not saying just give him another gun, im saying give him something quiet and lethal. like a garotte. yeah i want garotte lance.
