What’s weird abt chefs kiss discourse is i have yet to see a shipper say they’d stop watching the show or be seriously angry if syd x carmy doesn’t happen. The most I’ve seen is feelings of disappointment which duh that’s gonna happen but I don’t see the big deal in wanting a ship to happen and being disappointed if it doesn’t idkkkk maybe I need to see these alleged posts myself
#or maybe we should stop taking online posts so seriously#also we don’t even know if we’ll have this show post writers strike 😭😭😭😭#bigger picture people!!!#the bear#carmy x syd#chefs kiss#carmy berzatto#sydney adamu

The manhunt just went nationwide five hours ago. They believe he's left NYC. I don't think y'all understand how serious it is for him to get away with this on an American Social scale. The police don't give a single fuck about 90% of Americans their job is to protect and serve property values and the rich. Even the company he worked for gave 0 fucks about him. That's how small a piece that high paying job is worth. But a linchpin is still a linchpin. The fact people realize direct action DOES INDEED lead to Change is a big issue for these shareholders. Because if we start taking action against CEOs eventually the population will start hunting the true villians. THEM. So they need to make an example of him. They need Americans to fear taking action against THEIR LOWEST RANKS and look back to their usual scapegoat POCs and each other. That's why they tried to describe him as "lightskined" when it first got out. Misdirection and distraction. Now that they know we rally him they can't let him be a symbol. Because they need Americans to focus on getting things back to "normal" instead of being brave and progressing. So while social media has definitely made us more aware it still gives them information to use against us. So yes once again I am saying be aware of what you post and reblog on any platform about this man. I get you want to celebrate him but don't make it easier for them to find him. Don't do their work for them.
#i hate this even has to be said but the pushback on my last post made me remember people dont know how to think ahead#let alone glimpse a bigger picture#uhc ceo#united healthcare

Remember: The burning sensation is part of the process.
#Mouthwashing#blood#body horror#Emphasizing here that this is in reference to a media and character and not a cry for help on my end.#Mouthwashing is one of those games that tickles my brain and checks all the boxes for my niche interests -#-but it wasn't something that got the silly comic part in my cortex firing up. My analysis brain is eating well though!#What said...It is impossible for me to see this scene and not say out loud: “Me in the middle of my work day".#While there is a lot more going on with curly I personally resonated a lot with his struggles with burnout.#Burnout feels like mouthwash to me. That you keep rinsing out your mouth trying to get rid of the rotting smell#but it's just surface level solutions. The real cure requires something far more significant to actually make a difference.#The job 'is hard' and 'everyone struggles'. It's part of the process right? You're tired? Anxious? Depressed? Us too! Chin up!#Actually I resonated with a lot of things within Curly (this is a curly positive space - he's not perfect. He's just human).#One thing being his desire to see the good in people and believe in their potential.#Because here's the thing. Some people truly do just need someone in their corner who stands by them so they can grow and improve.#And some people will take advantage of your kindness. You focus so much on their humanity while you stop being a person to them.#The horrifically toxic relationship persists because Curly tries to see the bigger picture and believes in the good within.#Anyone who has lived through constantly trying to reframe the hurt as something else knows-#-just how many excuses your brain will make to avoid cognitive dissonance. It's human psychology.#Jimmy sucks so bad. But we the audience have the privilege of not having years of baggage associating him in our minds as 'friend'.

Curly's little blurb on his steam trading card just keeps reminding me he is a much more miserable person than people realize.
We don't get a lot of his thoughts, inner confliction that aren't bogged down by what Jimmy says or does. Even in the The Last One and Then Another, his dialogue is reflective, not the Curly before the crash but the result of everything. Parts of the him he was are there of course, but also disfigured and warped beyond recognition just like he is physically.
Curly really doesn't think much of himself and desires. He clearly chases fleeting moments of happiness. He doesn't really have prospects for himself, assumes in a similar way to Swansea, that if it should make it happy then he is happy. Though, he hasn't reached the point Swansea did to admit it doesn't. He neither sees the glass half full or empty, it's just water, something he needs and he'll take it from any perspective.
He wasn't running from anything but he's never really been going towards something either. He's listless. I've been using the term complacent to describe how he feels about his life and the closest people (really just Jimmy) in it, but now that word feels too neutral, too nice. Happier than Curly really was. There isn't just one word for it, he's unfulfilled, uncertain, uninspired. There are no active problems he faces and that's the issue, why should he be upset?
I believe he really is a person who doesn't know who he is or wants to be. He follows a structure. I don't think he's suicidal, but he clearly doesn't think about what makes him happy. He's numb. I suppose that is a better word than complacent, used to the feeling even if he hates it. It doesn't hurt so why stop it?
#like curly is very much does his job goes home takes care of self repeat i dont think hes like an asocial person but he doesn't take the tim#time to indulge in himself the way he thinks hes a bigger picture guy so as long as nothing is disrupted hes relatively okay even if its#slowly chipping away at him and making him feel hollow like he thought space was endless that he could never reach a point of feeling finis#he never had to predict what to do after the end and suddently he realizes there was no end to it because there cant be an end to nothing#hes accomplished so much objectively but hes done nothing with his life outside of his work like he mentions no hobbies other friends or an#thing of the sort he doesn't even feel like he can vent it cause what? hes complaining about how hard it is to get promoted to have securit#in a job you hate and a position that keeps weighing you down like I feel like if he explained himself at the party and didn't let Jimmy t#talk for him hed actually have made points the others would get cause even if they envied his position he still is justified in being unhap#not everything that you think would bring you happiness does or fulfills even a small part of that desire#idk hes a lot more fucked in the head but like towards himself than people realize like how he lets Jimmy treat him is indicitive of that i#mouthwashing#mouthwashing game#captain curly#curly mouthwashing

Anyone else thought about this?
With the popularity of Mouthwashing as a game, I've seen people who talk about it talk about the mouthwash itself as a metaphor for Jimmy (and they're definitely correct in their read imo), but dear god NO ONE is talking about it as a potential metaphor for Pony Express itself as a company.
This is an item considered to be an essential. It is a dental hygiene product dentists would generally recommend you have. 99.9% of bacteria gone - but this one is loaded with sugar. Using this is going to be detrimental to its own cause and probably worse than using no mouthwash at all.
Pony Express? No matter your start, it seems like a good, stable job and a promising future. People will always need goods transported to other planets. It even has a cute mascot representing pride in their work that they sell toys of to kids!
Butttttt, the caveats. Oh boy, the caveats. All of those cute images are done to soften the blow of little red pieces of text about how doing things to the point of basically existing means your credits are going to get docked - something that's just as much Aperture Science-esque dark humor as horrible foreshadowing. Late delivery? Docked. Resting in any manner for more than five hours? Docked. Using medical support in any manner? Docked. REPORTING ISSUES TO HR??? MOTHER. FUCKING. DOCKED.
And trying to avoid any of those dockings; those detriments? Pretty much impossible, and that would spell doom for anyone: including members of a certain ship. With every one of those rules, if they survived that payout would be hilariously low. The usual rules; made by out of touch people in fancy suits.
The members of the Tulpar all (mostly) had reasons to be there, even at radically different life stages. Reasons why they needed the work, and reasons why it should fulfill those reasons and enrich their lives.
It was meant to be Jimmy's ticket away from struggling on earth. It was meant to be Daisuke gaining direction in life. It was meant to be Anya finally getting into medical school. It was meant to be Swansea gaining a stable and fulfilling life as he made it into sobriety, and it was meant to be Curly making it further up into his career path with glowing words of praise.
As per capitalism's usual spiel that we were even shown in the game itself via public domain cartoon, taking this job was meant to be joyous opportunity and innovation for their lives; but with so many flaws in the system around them around them - including the words on those posters - just trying to find benefit in the system they needed in order to survive was nothing more than fatal poison. The dead pixel, the sugar, and the 0.1% all working together.
#husbandothings#basically one clear major read of this game is corpos are just...not fun and a lot of bad things can happen in them#i feel like most people only look at the character angle of things and uh...no meta reference intended but not the bigger picture#it's about human failings and cruelty in a system intended as impossibly robotic by people we dont see we CANNOT have one without the other#jimmy mouthwashing#both together are what make this story really cool imo.#swansea mouthwashing#daisuke mouthwashing#curly mouthwashing#mouthwashing#mouthwashing game#anya mouthwashing#mouthwashing analysis

I adore the new perspective that the One Piece Fan Letter gives us on the Paramount War.
Because all you see when you watch the anime are glimpses of the smaller lives, it mostly focuses on the big players
But with Fan Letter you can really see how terrified some of the marines were from the guy who almost fell off the edge looked up and saw Mihawk to the brothers caught between Mihawk and Crocodile
The Captain protecting his men from being crushed and the marine just sitting next to his dead comrades body in the middle of all this fighting.
I do wonder how many marines either quit, were unable to continue due to physical injuries or who lost faith in their superiors because of it.
#i like the small peoples perspective because yes you can see how horrible it is from the bigger picture but actually focusing on it instead#of it being there and just being brushes aside you get confronted with how the world governments orders screwed their people over#like for gods sake the main marine thanks Luffy for being the reason his brothers alived and worried that he was alright after losing his#own big brother#you cant keep an army if all your doing is feeding them to the dogs your fighting#one piece marines#one piece#one piece fan letter#one piece thoughts#cretin screeches put it down

I really don't know if I'm the minority for saying this or if this means I'm a bad fan or person etc, but Rory missing Lorelai's graduation? Neither of Jess or Rory's fault.
It was an impulsive decision by her to hop on to that bus that day, so no, she couldn't have planned it. What she did plan though, is to get to the bus in time to get back home to her mother's graduation. And she did, and Jess went with her decision and didn't hold her back. Everything was going according to plan and Rory could have the day with the boy she is not so secretly smitten with while also making her mother happy by being there for her and giving he Belinda.
Then traffic happened, something that is totally out of anyone's control. People hate Rory in that ep as if she intentionally missed her mom's graduation. She didn't! She was miserable when she found out she did. She confesses her mistakes and regrets when Lorelai confronts her then.
So please, if you want to hate that ep, sure do your thing, but just hate the fact that traffic happened and fate was cruel to her, not because Rory is some sort of an evil spawn and will intentionally hurt her mother.
#gilmore girls#idk if this is just me talking as a jess and rory fan or people aren't seeing the bigger picture here#rory gilmore they could never make me hate you#literati#ep: Lorelai's Graduation Day

pei sijing get behind me. your moral code is too unyielding your values are too straightforward your speech is too candid your protection is too loyal your love is too self-sacrificial your heart is buried too deep and the darkness and overwhelming loneliness that rests on your shoulders and the haunted look in your eyes is too close to consuming you. they’ll kill you
#defending her on the internet isnt enough i need to start filing lawsuits#it has to be understood that her values are actually very simple. if she considers you a friend/ally/loved one etc she will do what#she thinks is in best interest for you. most often this includes protecting you in the way(s) she knows how. to the audience this might#not always please us. re: people thinking she was too harsh on zyc (i don't though. i'm not people!) but in her mind she was considering#the bigger picture + commonfolk too like wen xiao said. and zyc needed someone to embody his values and morals in that moment too#psj did what he would've done. anyway the rest is pretty much self explanatory. she'd truly and honestly die for those she loves. she never#forgets that she's human. but she doesnt treat it so much as a weakness but as a reason to be stronger. to fight harder. i just love her sm#fangs of fortune#pei sijing

I've been thinking a lot lately about how so many people miss the point of TSR completely. Like Katara did forgive Zuko because forgiveness is earned and no Katara didn't forgive Yon Rha because she can choose who to forgive/ who not to forgive and no Katara shouldn't have killed Yon Rha because the whole point of the episode is that you don't have to forgive someone to show them mercy. That's why Bryke insisting that Katara "forgave Yon Rha" after the fact is not only fucking stupid because she literally says something exactly to the contrary in the episode and it doesn't just remove her agency it removes the complicated moral theme
#such a complex message its honestly my favorite episode#but I feel like a big chunk of the fandom missed the point one way or another#there is an argument that they perhaps didn't consider the social factors involved in implying katara was just as bad as Yon Rha if#she decided to kill him because that's obviously not true#but still I just feel like with all the people dissecting the episode over the years the overarching theme was kind of missed#we all just focus on the smallest of lines we're ignoring the bigger picture#katara#zutara#tsr#atla#avatar the last airbender

It sucks to be stuck with a lesser of two evils system, but there’s is no fully moral way in the election. Not voting isn’t going to help Palestinians, someone will end up in office in the end, don’t let it be the guy that’s also gonna take all your rights away.
#politics#said this on Twitter might as well share it here#cause seeing so many people not understanding the bigger picture to feel like they have moral high ground is only worrying me more!#let’s not have a repeat of 2016 please!

mentioned donnie is shown to be pretty chill about being a mutant now im thinking and like,,,, ive always kind of headcanoned raph to be the one out of the four with the biggest complex about it. he's the most physically imposing (which makes him the hardest to hide in plain sight, and people are more likely to be afraid of him), and being the oldest he's had to worry a LOT about keeping them safe from other people. also i think it would explain his dismissive behavior in bug busters really well?? like he's just being petty towards leo because he thinks he's a contrarian, theyre just like that with each other, but i think raph would be the MOST comforted by the fact that there are people like him. that there's a whole community of them.
ive already seen a lot of people interpret him as just as insecure of his size as he is relieved by being able to use it, so i enjoy the idea of going a little harder. make him harbor some resentment, feel insecure about his place in the world because he in particular was taught to be afraid as the oldest. its fun
#personal#rottmnt#raph and donnie are the body dysmorphia brothers (fire text)#donnie doesnt give af about being a mutant but he sure does care about how he sticks out in his own family!!!! THAT'S what hurts him#i imagine raph having some bigger picture problems more than anything#ACTUALLY ALSO WOW THIS IS KIND OF BACKED UP BY HIS BEHAVIOR IN THE MUTANT MENACE EPISODE HUH#he is literally so fucking desperate for the approval of people that hate him for what he is. like.....

i can't with all these "the show is highlighting tommy's jealousy, they're planting seeds that it will cause problems" takes like bffr. he mentioned being envious over the 118's dynamic twice, sure, but in what world (literally how?) would that cause a relationship problem? do yall expect him to be in cahoots with gerrard behind their back and murder buck to take over his life or something?? like even with the hyperbole aside, i genuinely cannot see how they can turn this into relationship drama without going against everything they showed us with tommy so far
#he literally reassured buck about his relationships in that first scene he's fine with it#he asked how buck was doing about bobby because again he KNOWS (he literally has eyes & was there to witness buck save bobby from the ship)#how much bobby means to him like do yall think 6 months into their relationship he will be unable to deal with this and what? demand buck#not be so close with them?#or that he will want to be a part of that too and buck (who in turn reassured him about this in 7x04) will be like#“uhm babe you wanting to be friends with my friends is giving me the ick?”#like whats the logic here#i'll eat my words if 911 can spin this as relationship drama i will#but im also certain this is not going the way you guys think it will#if anything the most logical follow up to this is tommy connecting with these people more as he desires and it being a good thing for both#tommy's character and bucktommy's relationship#ok rant over#911#bucktommy#tevan#kinley#edit: the only think i can think of is if he feels neglected bc say buck needs to make time for someone else but even that doesn't make#sense because buck NEVER neglected his love interests and tommy is literally friends with all these ppl to a degree so he'd arguably#understand it more than any of his exes (none of whom had any problems with buck#'s relationships within the 118)#i think you're just ignoring the context of these scenes because they paint the bigger picture of tommy being fully accepting of these#relationships so unless something changes drastically (an external thing making him feel insecure about it/buck going too ooc and#neglecting his significant other entirely etc.) i dont see how this can be a problem#mimi.txt

I think the reason beckory works well is that tony has a habit of getting self righteous and in his own head about things but Gregory isnt afraid to tell him off or call him out about things. the point of tony in ggy is that nobody ever told him that how hes treating other people isnt good, so that's why he got so bad. but tony would be close to Gregory and have every rational reason in the world to listen to Gregory so when he would say something like "you're treating ellis badly and that's not what a good friend does, you need to do better" hed actually listen and take it into account and improve himself
#everyone in ggy is oblivious but gregory wouldnt be#hed be used to flawed people by being family with vanessa and freddy and best friends with cassie#and in turn tony#so when tony showcases traits of being flawed he cares about him and can look past them bc he knows tony is a good person#but he also keeps him in check when he goes too far#gregory who would fight someone so intensely he would be put in the hospital if someone insulted cassie:#tony you shouldnt resent ellis and say hes annoying just because he doesnt know all about this journalist from the 1920s#i think the concept of Gregory trying to be normal and live a normal life with 3 star fam and actively having to make it happen#is interesting#bc i feel like tony is so abnormal and has become disconnected from reality especially in a scenario where he lives after the ggy attack#that interacting wiht gregory whos so strange and interesting and mysterious but also has both feet rooted in the present and reality#would do him a lot of good#just make him finally take a step back and see the bigger picture and take a chill pill#also its ironic bc gregory is secretly in his head trying soo hard to be normal and do normal things#and it appears so effortless to Tony that it literally fixes him#i love thinking gregory and others relationships as Gregory not really doing anything but he still affects ppl so heavily#like gregory just existing and freddy developing a soul and sentience and finding a will to live and a purpose after dropping lead singer#gregory almost accidentally saving vanessa and just existing in her life being someone she wants to live for#giving her the motivation to get back up and eventually allowing her to heal enough to want to enjoy life by herself#Gregory doing nothing but being cassies friend and it changes her after a lifetime of abandonment#to the point where it makes her happy and fufilled and brings out the determination and bravery in her#and finally gregory with tony where him just being in tonys life not trying hard to help him out and change his way of seeing life#actually does the most to change his life and shows him that he can view things differently and that now#he finds that he WANTS to#pandas.txt#3 star fam#beckory#superstar duo#gregory#tony

You know .. I don't know why people only limit their option/thinking to "is Yorishima the grandpa or not?" and start rethinking everything from that angle only ..
Not to say this idea is wrong or right more like ... I find it kinda funny that people don't see Yorishima as anything but that .. that that his only purpose in the story either to serve as "fake grandpa" or "be the real grandpa" and see no other purpose or different role to him which's amusing in a way ..
It's like being blinded either directly or indirectly to other ideas which might be the real goal by Midorikawa-sensei, until she come and say that his role is actually different <3
Is him knowing Reiko for sure/weird familiarity between him and Natsume only serve the point of "fake/real grandpa" .. is that the only role and option opens to him story-wise ?
Some might say that then if not that one then what other options/ideas for him story-wise ?
I can't be the only one considering other ideas/theories about him related to Reiko aside from the grandpa one, right ?!
Like for example ...
him being the brother of the real grandpa so he's Natsume's uncle
him being Reiko's killer
him being a firsthand witness to the story of Reiko and her husband even how she died and by who thus hated the exorcist world and distanced himself ever since
him being the one who took care of Reiko's daughter/Natsume's mother after Reiko's death till she married and protect/hide her till then
as for what I believe personally, well, let's say so far for me he's not the grandpa for sure so I'm looking at things from that angle. so, I do consider all those options even tho I lean to a certain one maybe but can't say for sure yet ...
I'm only saying that Midorikawa-sensei has many options for him story-wise than what people actually assumed the first time and locked him down to only that to consider what else might be there for him.
there might also be an option I hadn't considered yet for all we know so far <3
#natsume yuujinchou#natsuyuu#natsume reiko#Yorishima#I feel like .. if we look at Reiko's story and hints be it for her husband or overall .. you'll see many ideas#even tho I don't even know what other people think of Reiko's story or assume it is ..#since all might have different ideas then work other ideas from there#because I admit because of my own Reiko's theory I do look at things from that angle sometimes since so far nothing denies it#maybe that's why my reaction to Yorishima is kinda different#that I believe not once I assumed he might be the grandpa#knowing Midorikawa ... we can't trust anything at all till the last moment ...#Yorishima serve another purpose to the full Reiko's life reveal ..#he's another piece another hint another foreshadow serving a bigger picture ...#now the only last missing piece .. is the grandpa himself then everything will unfold mostly ..#and the reveal is closer to us like no other time .. will it be from Yorishima's mouth himself or be it from someone else ?#now we just wait and see ...#me start rambling again ><

RE: Your post on the AU of Jimmy being in the cockpit rather than Curly.
I think that Curly would think that Jimmy was reaping what he had sown, but in a way would feel a twisted sense of relief that Jimmy was brought down by his own actions rather than Curly himself having to be the "executioner" in the situation, so to speak.
With "taking responsibility" and the fix-it mentality that he and Jimmy share being the overarching theme, compounded with Jimmy flat out insinuating that all of his crimes on the Tulpar will be "Curly's tragedy" in that one scene, I think Curly would almost find comfort in the irony that the choice was forcibly taken away from him. Which in itself is messed up, but it might be a bit cathartic. There's an interesting polarizing dynamic within Curly's relationship to his own responsibility in that it's his greatest burden and the thing he, too, avoids the most.
I don't think Curly would find any relief in this actually. While Curly didn't/doesn't like the responsibility he had, he defiantly doesn't avoid it, he just goes about it in a weird way.
A thing I noticed is that its less about taking responsibility with Curly and really what that responsibility meant objectively and then subjectively to Curly. The leniency that he applies to Jimmy also applies a bit to the others as well. He thinks his responsibility is more towards keeping the peace and things in order more than dolling out punishment. He has even more choices to make and responsibilities as he literally has to make sure they survive/ration long enough to be saved. Or figure out how to save them himself. The correct issue with Curly and responsibility is the prioritization in his head. He sees the big picture and prioritizes that. He doesn't notice the little things that he should but it's not a active dismissal, perhaps not even conscious despite how dismissive he seemed. He takes too much responsibility, espcially in regards to Jimmy, and I think this situation is when he realizes that is also a bad thing as he can't "fix" all of his wrongs.
I think he'd regret not making a choice, because in the end this happened because he wouldn't directly choose who to comfort and help. He tried to help both and ended up doing nothing for either and letting Jimmy fuck them all over. In this scenario/au he's thinking about all the times he let Jimmy inadvertently make his choice, and how he chose to let it happen. He regrets all of it and would be so bitter that he was giving his choice up for so long. He chose wrong and it affected everyone. The only thing he'd find cathartic is the fucked up truth it will never happen again, not with Jimmy at least.
But he's not happy he's getting joy from that. I think it's a point not a single character other than Jimmy is depicted at deriving joy from another's pain. Even Swansea is being more sarcastic when he cheers on Curly about crashing the ship and ending his sobriety. He's happy Jimmy was forced to take responsibility, but this? He wanted him to learn a lesson and do something with himself, this is hollow in a way it's just embittering. Jimmy didn't get what he wanted, he can be happy about that but no one else did. This isn't justice or closure for Anya, he's stuck in a place he was so desperate to leave with even more pressure on his shoulders. Daisuke is just a kid and Swansea doesn't deserve this after all his year making himself a better man.
Like in his sections, Curly is preoccupied thinking about all the responsibilities he has, taking on things he shouldn't have to and trying to keep the peace when he doesn't have peace in his own mind.
#i think the idea that Curly did nothing is both true and also not for he did something but it was nothing in the bigger picture for Anya#he put himself between her and Jimmy but that just prolongs the ineviabiliy of their interactions when he cant hence the seen where she tol#Jimmy. He thought he was helping by being honest but it just made Jimmy panic harder and flip on him because Jimmy doesnt plan like Curly o#anyone else does for that matter hes so short term. Curly also is in a way but its also hes concerned with the long term to far away#either way he did nothing for Anya directly which is the problem as hes not direct in social situations while Jimmy is overly direct to put#it lightly. I think the irony is more so in the fact that he understand the dead pixel now and can't choose not to see it. rather than any#thing with Jimmy choosing to do this. It's like the point is he has to kinda be the person he was to Jimmy but to deserving people and#realizing how bad their dyanmic was and not to fall into the same placating behaviors and maybe prioritize his choices because in a way Jim#already took away his choice by doing literally anything he did in the story because the only choice would have been to punish Jimmy atp bu#hoped he could find a better option backfired then and it still backfired now#ask#enigminho#mouthwashing#mouthwashing game#curly mouthwashing

if 9&10 were "dont wander off", and 11&12 were "the doctor lies", 13s rule #1 is "dont question me"
"have we not had a good time together" shes pointing yaz to the rule that yaz very well knows is there: we can travel if you dont ask me any difficult questions. yaz knows this is the rule - "because you ask too many questions", "this team structure isnt flat" - but she also was the one to invite the doctor into her home so im pretty sure she also knows shes not gonna kicked out that easily. she has some leeway. which she has been using between revolution and flux, which is why the doctor reminds her of the rules
i dont think she'd kick her out though. she wouldnt. i think it's just that the more you break the rule, the more unpleasant she becomes to be around, and eventually youre gonna walk out on your own. she doesnt want you to, she'd rather you stay and dont ask questions. but if youre gonna try to ask questions anyway, i think thats whats gonna happen
and yaz must think so too. because she does back off. because she doesnt want that to happen either. and it does anyway
#dont question me/dont challenge me. questions are the sore spot but the challenge is one she says explicitly once#because you see this in how she is with other people too. dont try her patience. dont act like shes smaller. dont challenge her or Die#based on the giggle - 'i thought i was clever' 'what do i say?! because im always sooo certain' - i dont think 14 is like this#also based on the expressions of affection#hes not that......reactive. to this. specific thing#so i wonder if it runs over to 15#he seems chill. i think? he seems fairly chill. but also i think we've so far only seen him mostly in control of things#faced with the maestro temporarily not entirely in control hes Notably Less Chill#but still bigger picture. hes mostly in control of things right now i think#or uhhhh based on how eager he seems to get out of the role of doctor#hmmmmm#13 didnt want it but like. was stuck with it i think#didnt want it but nobody else was gonna do it. thats why 12 regenerated#15 comes out 14 Literally Quitting#he doesnt want it and hes decided hes not stuck with it. maybe#none of this is true btw im just saying words recreationally#like those 13 moments are super cherrypicked and i havent rewatched in forever so#dont believe me gfkjghgjh#this is based more on how i write them than what ive seen basically#anyway in terms of 14/yaz i think it takes yaz a while to figure out how to deal with 14 Not being like this#bc she got soooo practiced at handling 13. most of which was abt like not tripping this rule too much#she'd keep it up with 14 and he'd just do stuff that like breaks the rule from his side and yaz wouldnt have any idea how to deal with it#he'd show her hes chilled out a bit. about this. over and over and it'd still take her moooooonthssssssss to start relaxing#just muscle memory at this point. doesnt help that shes also like this#i wonder if 14 - in a sort of compelte reversal - wants to be told what to do and how to do and#seeks out situations where someone else knows more than him so he can sit down and say 'teach me'#i think thats what he does. about all the human stuff. hes like teach me. all of it. show me how to do this
