In mine and @wall-legion's stuff, since Zojja returned home post-SotO leaving Logan to continue wizarding it up? A year passes between SotO and JW. In that time, about six months in, Leyya and Zojja are interrupted in their long vacation in Cantha with the krewe with a tempting piece of news: Councilor Haia finally got caught for all her crimes and there's an open council seat.

With a chance to finally take apart the system that harmed her, Leyya, many of their asuran friends, and both of her apprentices, as well as continues to allow the Inquest to rub shoulders with them and even do important project work that affects asuran society as a whole?

Zojja jumps at the chance.

Of course, being a councilor is a lot of work, and while she loves the challenge, the rest of the council can be an absolute chore to deal with. She does have Leyya to vent to when she gets home after a long day, but it's still stressful.

But that doesn't stop her from immediately volunteering to be the councilor present at the great Tyrian Alliance meeting...

So something I really like is how Cerus' direction is very... soft-spoken, in a way? He sounds so curious, so interested in you and what you might be. Many hostile kryptis sound particularly aggressive when they encounter you, but Cerus is here pondering you, wondering what this little thing that's stumbled into his home is. He doesn't even sound aggressive at all outside the time he mentions Deimos.

Amusing as it may have been at first, Zojja doesn't have the patience. And she wastes no time reminding Logan that she spent a year training with Mabon, and she's not afraid of using her unlocked magic to break it up if they don't do it themselves.

Ok so. Angel right. You know the omori character named Angel- well, I used reflection (hero) to symbolize Basil’s self worth issues so you’re never gonna guess what Angel turns into- yeah. Yeah a creature that symbolizes Basil’s religious anxieties

Why is called ‘Nephilim’? Well IN THE BOOK OF ENOCH- (<- lost it, this is an omori au, why am i talking about Nephilim) which is considered one of the unofficial books of the Bible (those are a thing, yeah) (I AM GREATLY SUMMARIZING BY THE WAY) (THIS IS NOT HOW I WOUPE TALK AHOUT TJIS USUALLY BUT IT IS LATE AND I NEED TO GET THIS OUT BEFORE I FORGET AGAIN) the origin of these creatures called Nephilim is explained, these creatures are supposed to the children of angels and humans, which biblically speaking is an abomination

But for the sake of my omori au (STAY WITH ME) this is a very cool and interesting being to design, and making Angel an ACTUAL ANGEL would’ve been a little too op for that character… so what IS a Nephilim if not an Angel? Well it’s a Giant. Of course. Duh (<- again. Lost it)

Which is ✨amusing✨ because Angel is the smallest hooligan, so turning him to the largest monster in Marzenie (not counting the water beast) (ignore that) (not right now) (it’s one in the morning when I’m typing this and I am NOT elaborating at the moment) is a silly haha

Also Nephilim are very interesting and I need an excuse to put them in my work somewhere (iceberg boy has me on that giant juice) (please don’t question that)
