This piece was my first digital design. I drew this back in the summer of freshman year in high school (2012) and had just began learning how to use Adobe Illustrator that year. It’s a nice little sketch and i’ll always remember where I began.

Fighting Evil by Moonlight

Just a fun little illustration I did of Sailor Moon! It served as a nice prep for a commission i’m doing for a friend that’s getting tatted on her shoulder. We never run from a real fight!

I had a nice idea for an embroidery project I wanted to do before the semester started and this is the design for it. I wanted to make a jacket that signified my culture as a Puerto Rican, but wasn’t the typical Puerto Rican flag while also being unique to me. 

Growing up, my mother always called me “Cielo” (meaning heaven, sky or from heaven) and to this day still does so. So I wrote it big on the back, kind of a, “property of Cielo” tagline lol (so you can’t steal it)! Instead of doing the over-used angel wings on the back though, I put them on my sleeve in addition to a heart because the phrase, “wearing your heart on your sleeve” unfortunately applies to me all too well. As for the flowers, I choose “La Flor de Maga”, also known as the Puerto Rican Hibiscus flower because I’m sick of roses and this jacket is Boricua! The flower gradates from red to yellow, red to pink, and red to white in variation but I chose the first two variations instead.

This is my redesign of Starfire from the classic Teen Titans comic. Based on the classic illustrations of the character, I plan on releasing a second collection of my personal rendition of each character as well. She is the latest in my new Teen Titans collection, only available from my store.
