Happy 40th Anniversary to everyone's favorite rabbit ronin! Usagi Yojimbo! ✨️

Romantic hushed blue antique obi depicting naminori usagi (rabbit on the waves). This pattern symbolizes seafoam, but can also hint at popular folktale The hare of Inaba.

OP paired it with a russet kimono with a bold honmon rinzu ground (combining orchid, chrysanthemum, and sayagata) and a lavish fruits and flowers pattern.

I was not sure about the greyish blue + rust color combo, but I feel it grew on me - especially as it echoes details of the kimono pattern?
