Weirdly, that wasn't even my favourite part of the movie.

Sure GL: beware my power (2022) sucked but hey evil Hal flew through Oa butt naked desecrating everything and everyone while sinestro watched

DC legit animated a sexual assault scene between Sinestro and Hal and expected everyone to ignore that huh. Like that is legitimately a sexual assault scene. Hal is beaten up, weakened and completely naked. Sinestro physically CLIMBS on top of Hal, choking him, passing Parallax via mouth to mouth, and then he looms over Hal as he writhes and shakes and thrusts his hips as Parallax takes over:

How else am I to interpret this scene? This is sexual assault. This is straight up sexual assault.

When I finally learn how to draw without it looking the pencil is trying to fight me it's over for you b*tches, I am going to shake the fucking foundation of the DC x DP crossover fandom. Hell, not even just that but any fandom I find even the slightest interest in. Count your days because when when I get a hold of an ounce of skill I'm going to make it EVERYBODY'S problem.

Yup.

Watched Green Lantern: Beware My Power. It was…serviceable I guess. Story felt rushed. John felt wooden. Shayera being used strictly for story conflict was a bummer. Adam Strange was a surprise, but could’ve been literally anyone. Sinestro felt like an afterthought, as did his random collection of villains.

Animation was cool though. Enjoyed Oliver’s voice actor. His final act actions were the only thing that elicited some form of emotion out of me. Worth a watch if you’re into Lanterns I guess.

Overall: Meh?
