Winifred Grant is a character of all time. She's a computer whiz. She used to be a cheerleadering champion but quit the team because she refused to smile. She's the most popular girl in school, hates it, and refuses to hang out with anyone other than her cousin and his crush. She's obsessed with wrestling. Her favourite game is Cluedo. One time it took her three days to get out of an escape room previously thought to be impossible. She loves magical girl anime. Every April she fights against a boy who has the same name as her and she wins every time. She gave an engraved pen to her cousin and can recognise said pen on sight. She can't stand any shade of pink except mauve. She has a special interest in ships in bottles. She identifies as a cousin over being a girl. She knows the cinema like the back of her hand. The only thing running through her veins is cynicism and boba tea. No one is doing it like her.

just a little something about Sevi with an artist lover..

You’re too absored in the way your pencil scratches against the paper as you sketch Sevika,her sharp jaw as she leans her head to the side,the way her body curves against the small couch in an effort to fit in and her relaxed expression. She’s lazily lounging on the couch watching a shitty romcom she claims she put on just because,you really like it and she doesn’t really care what she watches as long as you’re together.In reality you have conditioned her into your way of living and it’s cute how much she’s enjoying it..

“You’re drawing again?” Her voice rings through your ears and this time when you lift your head up to observe her she’s staring right back at you. You crack a guilty smile as you avoid her stare. It’s not that Sevika is angry at you for drawing her or anything.. she’s just a little shy,because she’s smart enough to realise how much observations is put into sketches like this,studying the subject till you can replicate it,and the thought of you staring at her for minutes on end with that little frown between your eyebrows gets her a little self conscious.

“Could’ve told me y’know,would’ve picked a sexier pose or something.” She amused,trying to hide her awkwardness.

“You’re always sexy,Sev.” You close your sketchbook shut,setting everything down to jump right next to Sevika on the couch and show her the love she deserves.

wendy and dipper's dynamic is so important to me.

i know she's often categorized as just his crush, but i truly think she's the first REAL friend dipper's ever had outside of mabel. we know he struggles to make friends back home and tries really hard to be mature.

we also know wendy tries to be mature for her age, too. she's the youngest of her friend group and tries really hard to put on a whole cool, chill exterior: but she's just as stressed and anxious under the surface.

the whole "you were a freak" scene during the mystery shack party is further evidence of this.

dipper lets her be a kid again. WHICH SHE STILL IS. she's only fifteen, even though from dipper's perspective that's impossible cool and adult. she's not even old enough to drive. she still has nightmares about her mother dying. she's the only girl left in her family at home. dipper gives her a chance to not be so grown-up for once.

in almost every instance we see them hanging out, they're genuinely having a good time: building golf cart ramps, making up security camera games to pass the time at work, playing video games. friendship comes VERY easy for them. when dipper isn't freaking out about how to talk to her, they get along very well and seem to enjoy the same activities.

they keep each other's secrets. she often corrects robbie when he takes a jab at dipper and invites him to parties. she tries to make him look cool in front of her friends after what he did in the convenience store.

she gives him her hat. she takes his.

i've seen some folks say that it wasn't fair that mabel got close friends over the summer, and dipper didn't get any. to me, that's missing the obvious: he got wendy. they're best friends.

i think it's so important that it's NOT a one-sided dynamic. sure, he liked her -- of course he liked her. who wouldn't??? but he DOESN'T go the route of bill and gideon; he accepts the friendship, treasures it.

that's so fucking good.

Flowey’s so funny and has me so fucked up like he’s a talking flower. He tries to kill you upon your first interaction. He is ten years old. He is damaged beyond repair. He’s a flower named Flowey. He’s become friends with every single character. He’s killed all of them countless times. He knows everything about everyone. He doesn’t care anymore. He takes care of his mom when she can’t take care of herself. He’s killed her before. He doesn’t care if you kill her. He thinks she’s trying to replace him. He just wants to be himself again. He wants to destroy everything. He hates you. You’re the only one who understands him. He wants his best friend back. He’s terrified of them. He believes in kill or be killed because he died by giving mercy to the wrong person. He believes himself to be the wrong person. He doesn’t understand when you show him that kindness he showed others, even when you know he could kill you for it. He’s tried every route. He asks you if you have anything better to do when you try to do the same. He’s a direct reflection of the player. He’s a fucking talking flower named flowey and his only voice line is by Ronald McDonald and his officially licensed plush does a little dance for you

This newfound idea that Silco took Powder in because she reminded him of Felicia makes me wanna gouge my eyes out. I'm sorry for being harsh, I guess, but I hate that their relationship has been reduced to Silco's past friendship with Jinx's mother. It strips Silco of his complexities, of that uncomfortable, unhealthy side of his relationship with Jinx that is, in my opinion, absolutely essential to their bond because it reflects just how damaged Silco was. He took Powder in because he saw himself in her; a broken, sobbing little girl whose words perfectly paralleled his own: "She is not my sister anymore", "he is not my brother anymore". Silco fostered Jinx's violence because she needed to become what they - Piltover - feared, all the while Jinx weakened him, held his hand as she led him to his demise. Maybe I'm too picky, but I feel like Silco's and Powder's first meeting loses all of its weight if you go down the "he saw Felicia in her" route. Idk
