She almost gives up and puts her phone away in the time it takes for him to reply, but eventually he does.

Her eyes widen as she reads the message. He’s either incredibly rude or just not used to interacting with other people. She decides to give him the benefit of the doubt. She tells him about her history degree, about her museum job, about her living situation and her aspirations to one day become a curator of historical artifacts. He is unsurprisingly evasive when she attempts to ask about him.

So, what brings you to the app?

She decides there’s no point in hiding the fact that she’s strapped for cash, she wouldn’t be using an app that matches sugar babies with sugar daddies if that weren’t the case. Her mouth runs dry when after a few minutes her banking app pings with a notification of a deposit. The full amount she owes on her student loan has been transferred to her under the name ‘A. Targaryen.” 

Aemond has transferred her thousands of pounds as if it were nothing more than pocket change, and all under the loose agreement that she’ll attend a party with him. This man has to be obscenely wealthy, or insane, perhaps both.

Her phone vibrates again. Another message from him.

Transferred. Give me your number, I hate the messaging interface on this app.

With clammy hands and a pounding heart she types out an entirely too long, rambled message of thanks, along with her number.

She wonders if she’s blown it when she doesn’t hear from him again, yet the money still sits in her bank account, feeling as though it’s burning a hole in it. She hasn’t exactly played it cool, most sugar babies probably accept money with cool sophistication, not simpering words of gratitude.

She feels like she’s forgotten how to breathe when he texts her on Friday.

Once more, she’s taken aback by how blunt he is, yet she complies and provides both. 

When she arrives home from work later that evening, there is a package waiting for her. She opens it to reveal a black silk gown. The cut of the fabric is beautiful. Her jaw drops when she sees the Chanel label. This likely cost more than the entirety of the clothing she owns put together.

There’s a note that simply reads: Wear this tomorrow - A.

She smiles at the neatness of his handwriting. Aemond is a strange man, and yet she can’t help the intrigue she feels towards him. This is his second act of generosity towards her in the space of a week and they’ve yet to even meet.

She spends all of Saturday ensuring she is waxed, exfoliated and moisturised all over, before carefully styling her hair and applying make-up that she feels will do the eye-wateringly expensive dress she’s been given to wear justice. 

She is jittery with nerves when a sleek, black sports car pulls up outside the block of flats. She can just tell it’s Aemond, nothing that costs that much has any business being on this side of town otherwise.

She hurries downstairs to meet him, eager to avoid the embarrassment of him seeing the mess that is the inside of the pokey, little flat she shares with Mysaria.

He steps out of the car and she inhales sharply at the sight of him. He is tall, at least six foot easily, despite her wearing heels he still towers over her. A well tailored, black suit clings to his long, lithe form and his white hair is pulled back neatly into a bun that sits at the nape of his neck.

“You must be Aemond.” She says, praying her make-up is enough to hide the evidence of how hot her face currently feels.

“Mmm. Yes, I must. You look good.” His right eye rakes appreciatively over her form, and when his left doesn’t follow the motion, she realises it’s a prosthetic. “Shall we go?”

He gestures towards the car, walking around to the passenger’s side to open the door for her.

He fills her in on what’s expected of her as he drives. His nephew, Jace, has gotten engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Baela. He is sick of fending off questions around why he’s not with anyone yet, especially from that side of the family. He expects her to stick by his side for the evening and he’ll deal with any awkward questions that may arise.

They arrive and Aemond is ever the gentleman, quickly stepping out of the car to open the door for her and offer her a hand out. 

She shivers at the feel of his hand against hers and is stunned further still when he interlocks their fingers, keeping a firm hold of her hand as they enter the house.

“Just play along.” He whispers.

She is immediately struck by the opulence of it all as they walk through the foyer. This is a family that comes from old money. It was clear from the antique furnishings and vaulted ceilings that the Targaryens had always had money and always would.

She balks a little, unsure of if she will fit in, suddenly self conscious. Aemond seems to pick up on this.

“Relax.” He whispers to her. “Everyone here looks like shit compared to you.”

His words, combined with the tickle of his breath against the shell of her ear sends a shiver down her spine.

True to his word, he doesn’t let her stray from his side the entire evening. The tension between family members is unmistakable. The sneers with which a trio of dark haired young men regard Aemond is incredibly off putting.

She is informed by Aemond that the eldest of them is Jace, whose engagement they are here to celebrate. She meets Aemond’s mother, the doe eyed, auburn haired woman is pretty and seems shocked but delighted at the sight of her son with an actual date on his arm.

The lies that flow from his mouth are effortless. He had met her at the museum she works at when he’d come in to browse an exhibition. They’d hit it off instantly and been inseparable ever since.

Every touch of his hand at the small of her back feels like a brand and as the night goes on, and the champagne continues to flow freely, she finds herself eagerly playing up to the part of dutiful girlfriend. She leans into every touch, her eyes fluttering closed at the gentle press of his lips to her hairline. He is respectful, too respectful, never getting handsy or going for a full on the lips kiss.

When the evening draws to a close and he escorts her back to the passenger side of his car, she feels bereft at the loss of his touch as he moves around to the driver’s seat.

“You did well this evening.” He tells her as she starts the engine. “We put on quite the show.”

Remembering that none of this was real, that she’d been paid to be here startles her out of her tipsy fantasy that this is an actual relationship and her mouth presses into a tight line as she nods.

They drive in silence for a while before Aemond speaks again.

“If you’re up for it, my mother is having a birthday meal this Wednesday. She mentioned tonight she’d love for you to come. Are you available? I’ll pay you, obviously.”

So much for this not feeling like prostitution. She’s already paid off her student loan, she could just say no, but then she wouldn’t get to see him again.

“Y-yeah, sounds good.” She says meekly.

They pull up outside the block of flats and, right on cue, Aemond is striding around the car to get her door. She wobbles on her heels as she climbs out, the effects of the evening’s alcohol getting the better of her, and falls against his chest.

His large hands move to steady her by the shoulders and as she looks up into his face she is struck by how gorgeous he really is. 

Her eyes slowly close, as she leans in, her lips pressing towards his.

His grip on her shoulders tightens, pushing her back ever-so gently. “You don’t need to do that.”

Her eyes snap back open, shame coursing through her like liquid fire. “Oh…”

“I’ll text you the details about Wednesday. Thanks again for tonight.”

He gets back into the car, driving away as she stands on the kerbside, feeling thoroughly embarrassed.

while everyone is so focused on achievements and goals for the new year, i think it’s important to look back at what impactful things you did this year. this is a list of my most memorable moments within the last year, and my goals for the next. feel free too reblog with yours :)

— this was truly a year for the books. although i struggled with my mental health a lot, alongside other things in my personal life, i still think this year was good for me as a person and i learned a lot about myself. this is (in no particular order) some things i did this year that i think are worth mentioning.

౨ৎ started my fitness journey - i was in the gym five days a week for the longest period ever in my life. i learned to portion my food and began to eat cleaner and looked and felt the best i ever had in YEARS. as someone who struggled for a long time with self image and discipline, this was very healing for me.

౨ৎ i lost a few friends, but i made SO many new ones on here.

౨ৎ started journaling. i wrote about my day and what i was feeling. i found that having some sort of outlet really helped me with my anxiety.

౨ৎ picked up a long lost love for writing. i started to upload my work onto a platform for the first time in five years.

౨ৎ made my first big girl purchase and bought my dream car.

౨ৎ really found out my style and aesthetic. the clothes i like, the styles, colors, etc., after struggling with it for a long time.

౨ৎ developed and grew my blog to what it is today. coming on here is such an outlet for me, and i can’t thank you all enough. i know i’m just a blog on this app, but i seriously take every compliment and kind word to heart. even the smallest compliments will make my day. this year was hard on me, but everyone on this app made it so much better. i love all the love i get on here, i couldn’t be more thankful 🤍🤍 i seriously love eveyone on here so much.

My Guide to Patch/Crust DIY Pants That No One Asked For:

(If you see this guide go through changes, you’re not crazy, I update it all the time)

I’ve noticed that my DIY pants had been noticed on here, so I’d thought I make a guide for new punks getting into the scene 💖

I’ve been in the punk scene for a little over two years now, so don’t take everything I say to heart, I’ve got lots to learn.

Typically, you want to start out with a good base. For instance, the pants you choose can make or break your project. I don’t suggest buying super expensive pants, but don’t buy them super low quality either. You want something that lasts, as crust or patch pants are meant to be your only pair.

EDIT: Before I start any new project, I look around my stuff to see if I can repurpose anything. Old T shirts, bed sheets, bags, you name it. It’s so much easier to repurpose your stuff before buying new things, and you save money doing it. Before you buy pants, see if you can find a pair you already own! I had to buy new ones because I only had one other pair of jeans that I wear to work.

I’ve seen some tutorials floating around for DIY can spikes. Please be very careful doing this. If you’re moshing in a vest made with cut up aluminum, you can seriously hurt someone if you’re not careful. Be on the safe side and either borrow/buy pre made studs and spikes or save the DIY can spikes for non-moshing vests/pants/cuffs.

If you’re moshing with any studs or spikes at ALL, they should be blunt!!!

Good places to buy pants

Thrift (it’s a bit of a crapshoot if you have a hard time finding sizes, but if they’ve lasted long enough to end up in a thrift store, then it means they’re more likely good quality. Check the tags!!)

ASOS (I recommend if you have a hard time finding your size. I can’t guarantee the sustainability of this site though.)

Mercari (Like an online goodwill. I find a lot of awesome clothes on here. You can download the app.)

How the Pants Should Fit

The fit of your pants can also affect how they lay on you. I suggest buying pants slightly larger on you, if you’re covering them in patches. When you start sewing, you’re going to find that they’re going to shrink a little bit. So please avoid tight fitting jeans if you can! Straight or relaxed fit are the best.

EDIT: If skinny/fitting pants are all you got, sometimes making relief cuts at the knees help when you try to bend down.

Patches

Patches are going to be what makes your pants unique! There’s quite a few you can choose from: plain patches, band patches, politics patches, etcetera. If you’re going to cover the entirety of your pants, I suggest going to Joann’s or Michaels (fuck Hobby Lobby) for fabric. Buy a yard or two canvas or pleather (or both). Otherwise, I usually cut up old T-shirts for my fabric.

Paint (Buy white/black stencil fabric paint. I don’t suggest acrylic, since it’s not made to move with fabric)

If you’re going to make crust pants, it’s imperative that you have crust bands on your patches, that’s what makes them crust! (Apart from never washing them)

Edit: I would do your own research on the crust punk subculture, there’s a lot of discourse out there on what makes punks crust punks and so on.

Washing your pants is not a black and white rule, but you can ruin the integrity of your work if you carelessly throw them in the washer. Like if you were to throw a suede jacket into the washer, there’s certain steps to take!

He doesn’t want his baby brother to have to make almost daily trips to the cemetery to talk to his best friend. Soda wants Pony to be happy, and to continue on. He wishes that Pony could come home and see Johnny on the couch. He wishes so hard that his baby brother’s pain can be undone. He wishes and wishes, but that’s all it is, a wish.

Then there’s himself. And Soda hates self-pity, but it’s a little hard not to have self pity when you’ve gone through what he has. Because for fucks sake, he’s gone through it too. Soda lost his girlfriend, his mom, his dad, his first friend, and someone who may as well have been his brother too. And that hurts. And he wishes he could make it go away. Sometimes he wishes he could be numb to feeling. He wishes he didn’t feel as much and as deep as he does. He wishes that one day, he’ll go to sleep, and he’ll wake up to his life exactly as it was a year ago. But he won’t. And that sucks and he does pity himself. But not for too long, because at his core, Soda is a caregiver. And he can’t wallow in self-pity, because if he does, who will hug Pony and promise him that one day it will be okay? Who will sit down with Darry and reassure him that him and Pony won’t get taken away because Darry is doing his damn hardest to give them the best life he can? But sometimes, when Pony and Darry are asleep, he lets a few tears slip out. For just a few moments, in the silence of his childhood bedroom, he lets himself feel pity, and he lets himself wish. But in the end, that’s all it is, a wish.

Side hustles to make extra money? 💰

So we all see those posts/videos about side hustles that most of us can’t do or don’t want to do. So far I’ve tried 5 Side hustles that work really well & are easy.

1.Homeaglow this is a cleaning site, I’ve only had to clean 1 really nasty bathroom and the rest of the clients typically just want a little cleanup when they can really just do it themselves. I started at $21 an hour then increased to $25 this has been a great side hustle. Payments can be instant or weekly based on what you decide. There’s a lot of clientele in my city & I have had zero complications. It’s best to have a car to carry all your supplies, but if you don’t take a train or something, ask clients what they would want you to bring beforehand so you know if you should accept it or not. Don’t be lazy or cancel on a client though because this app will kick you off. Do your research, do a good job. Follow the directions etc. You could even start a cleaning business like I plan to do and gain clients from here.

2. Instacart delivery this is so much better than Uber because Uber has like $3 orders which is bull. Instacart has between $10-$43 deliveries at least from my experience this is great, you can make $20+ in 30 minutes or so if you’re fast enough. As well as depending on the size of the order.

3.Uber although those small orders are annoying they’re still orders and not all of them are small.

4. Task rabbit. I also use this for cleaning. You can do other things for example “waiting in line for tickets” errands, etc.

5.BIGO it’s a live streaming app you can do on your phone. You need to do your research. There’s a lot of provocative women on there but not everyone is or has to be. You sit there and live stream and people can send you “Beans”. Which is just the currency on there. You can make thousands or hundreds if you’re entertaining, engage with your audience and of course attractive. The app has a bad rep but celebrities have been featured on there such as Nicki Minaj, Ray Jay, Michael black son, Big Ed (from 90 day fiancé) Natalie Nun from bad girls club/baddies) and more. This app can be draining though and sometimes has very dry days, but can be worth it if you wanna make money from your room. You can also find men on there who will give you money outside of the app. I met a guy who ended up giving me over 10k because he fell in love with me, never did anything s@xual with him ever. A lot of men on there are like that if you give them attention for a week or too & aren’t acting desperate for money. This can be great if you want to get into “sugaring” which is something I personally don’t do but might be fitting for someone else. A lot of instagram models & video vixens are actually on BIGO and use it to grow their male following & make money. Some people make even more than 10k a month with consistent streaming. The most I made in a month was 3k

These are all productive easy ways to make money.

I’m being realistic here so these are the 4 I have for you that I have personally tried. You can even do these full time all together depending on your expenses. If you are aiming to be a stay at home girlfriend I’d suggest still doing one of these to put money aside because like I said you should never be solely dependent on a man without marriage & a plan.

he feels it all the way right down to his bones

it’s sometime in the middle of the night and he’s sitting up on his mattress, gasping for air

he’s drowning.

he feels empty too, like a part of him is missing.

it’s been so long since he really truly felt like himself, but this feeling was different. more intensifying.

his heart is beating too fast inside his chest in a way that hurts

and he just knows, he does.

he’s lying on the mattress in his cold lonely apartment, which now feels to big without you in it.

but he’s on his own now, like he was way before you happened

except the loneliness now feels suffocating

and yoongi drinks himself back to sleep with a bottle of whiskey that’s been sitting in his kitchen cabinet

yoongi doesn’t trust himself to open his mouth, so he walks out of his apartment and leaves jimin standing the middle of his living room

he heads towards a small bar that’s down the street, and drinks until he’s numb and the owner is pushing him out

days later, he finds a polaroid picture of the two of you taken on a random night underneath his dresser

yoongi tortures himself looking at it over and over again

you both looked so happy and in love, and his mind flashes to the last time he saw you with tears running down your cheeks and your face flushed

he stares at it until there’s a lump in his throat and his chest feels too tight

he tries to throw the picture away a few times but he ends up placing it on his bedside table

“yoongi, when was the last time you ate?” jimin asks him the next time he’s at his apartment

yoongi can’t even remember if he opened the door or if jimin just simply walked in

he can’t remember the last day he went to work and earned money to buy himself groceries and cooked a meal

in fact, he can’t remember the last time he swallowed something that wasn’t alcohol

“leave me alone” he tells jimin, covering himself with the blanket you had left on his couch.

yoongi doesn’t complain an hour later when jimin gives him a bowl of scolding hot soup he made with whatever was in the fridge

it all comes back when yoongi opens the instagram app and sees the stories and posts of your mutual friends at your wedding

videos of you and your husband laughing, dancing, kissing

he clicks on the next story where the camera had zoomed in on your face and you smiled so big, your laugh filling his quiet living room

and yoongi’s mind replays so many memories with that same exact laugh and he can’t tear his eyes away

and he tries to stop himself from crying, he wants to but he can’t.

just like he can’t throw out the picture of the two of you, or the blanket you would wrap yourself in, or the clothes that you left behind

and he messed it all up, he messed up any chance to fix it with you

it’s too late now.

he finds himself crouched over on the couch, head in his hands, and he can taste the salt on his tongue

he’s crying.

even when he wants to get up and walk away to avoid seeing jimin’s face when he realizes yoongi is crying over his ex, he forgets how to work his muscles

yoongi can’t leave because his attention is on you and your beautiful smile and the contagious laugh on the screen

he remembers the way your lips curved up when you smiled

he remembers the way your hands curled around his biceps when you would walk together

he remembers the way your lips moved when you would speak to him

and yoongi can’t stop staring.

in that same moment, yoongi realized that he remembers every single detail about you.

he memorized it all.

Akashi Relationship Headcanons

let's start with the crush phase

so imo this boy wouldn't really have a "crush" phase per se, like the ones that we would have as children and like get nervous around your crush

instead its the opposite. its that feeling of letting his walls down and being himself around you was what intrigued him

since he has to act so intimidating and professional most of the time, he feels relaxed and comfortable whenever he's with you

and he doesn't feel the need to impress you all of the time

that kind of person is exactly what he needs in a relationship

and you were real, unlike those people from other companies where they only really care about money and nothing else

so even if it seemed you were just acting normal, he was so interested in you having such honest opinions, not caring about what others think and prioritizing yourself

i feel like he would kinda look up to you in this sense

eventually he realizes that he started to miss your prescence. Your laugh, your voice, your smile.. everything about you
