my imagined account of how the party discovers steddie is a thing…

the party shows up fifteen minutes early to steve’s house for movie night and walks right on in bc ofc steve’s given them each a key at this point and normally they’re more than welcome to show up any time. except for like right now.

as they enter the living room, they’re horrified to find that their beloved babysitter is making out with some girl (they asssume) that happens to have dark curly hair and look a lot like someone they know very well. unable to see the mystery woman’s face, they loudly gasp and shudder at the drama playing out in front of them. decidedly speaking for the group—mike jumps the gun and on the verge of tears yells:

“nancy ! what the hell ? how could you do this to jonathan ? i can’t believe you ! mom and dad didn’t raise you this way !”

and in response—with grand theatrics and a heavy dose of attitude, eddie munson—their adored dungeon master—tosses his curls over his shoulder, pulls away from steve and addresses the children they share (not officially but still):

“THANK YOU ! finally, someone sees the resemblance—stevie, i told you. you totally have a type; curly haired, doe eyed beauties !”

hello everyone today i am pondering long hair faulkner. his brothers dont know how to hair and his dad just isnt there, so he's always kept it down. sometime during the season 1 roadtrip carpenter and paige teach him how to braid. at some point in season 2 he and carpenter do each other's hair. faulkner tries to keep carpenter's braids but the parish either put his hair in elaborate traditional hairstyles or cut it off completely. carpenter keeps it in as long as she can and once she's on the run she doesn't have time to undo it, and doesn't really want to. she keeps the braids in her hair even if they're uneven and messy and she needs to wash her hair. when they meet in the finale faulkner is almost unrecognizable to her and she looks exactly like the last time he saw her.

Reign like. Didn’t make sense, was completely historically inaccurate, and had some really weird themes but it was perfect for me senior year of high school because it was PEAK insane drama. Like yes of course literally every man is in love with Mary, have you seen her? The King literally thrusted so hard his lover fell out a window. Sebastian had to watch Mary have sex with Francis while their dad was right there. It had me CHEERING for these girls to get with Middle Aged men because it was so gripping.

I didn’t like S2 as much because literally every character cheated on their husbands and I didn’t think the sexual assault subplot was handled very well. But honestly it was all worth it for Mary to burst into Conde’s war camp to be like “I’m PREGNANT and you’re the FATHER and you have to protect me from my husband because I still LOVE you” and then turn around and stab him because it was all a trick.
