Eddie has a pet bird and every time it sees Steve or someone says his name, the bird whistles and make kissy noises.

Eddie can’t believe that his own feathers and blood is outting him but Steve is just like, “Why is your bird attracted to me? How would that even work? Like logistically.“

Steve’s grandpa Otis comes to Hawkins for the first time in years, has exactly one conversation with his grandson and his girlfriend(?). And then as soon as Steve leaves the room, turns on his son and demands, “What the hell happened to him?”

Richard is confused, even more so when his dad starts listing off the ptsd symptoms that he saw in his war buddies and is now seeing in his grandson.

“And what happened to his ears?”

“His ears?” Richard sputters.

“Yes, his ears! He can’t fucking hear, Richard.”

i love how whenever the master loses their memory they default to being good and the only time i can remember the doctor losing their memory theyre an asshole. its so delicious and just perfect. i know this isnt an original thought but it still rotates around in my brain

if we ever did get a macden kiss, I wouldn’t want it to be the whole, “characters kiss tentatively, pull back to look at each other, and then kiss fiercely” thing even though I do love that kind (like the chardee kiss). I’d want it to be the opposite. mac and dennis kiss much too roughly, too much tongue, hands clutching at each other, slamming up against a wall, and then they pull back. they look at each other. and then one (probably dennis, it would have to be dennis) reaches out a hand to cup the other ones jaw and leans in slowly. a kiss so careful and hesitant, full of nervous energy and shaky desire. close-mouthed and unsure until it isn’t, until they open up for each other and let go. but still it’s a deliberate, steady sort of pressure, and then just like that it’s over. and they walk away from each other. leaving us gape at the screen in shock.
