If there is anything that humans find unconsciously irresistible, it's faith.
And I don't mean faith in a purely religious or even spiritual sense — although it can be. Some people carry so much faith in their bodies that you can see the glint of it in their eyes as they move through the world. It’s a deeply magnetic trait to have.
I've come to realise that the remedy to the nihilism embedded in capitalistic cultures is to have faith — to hold onto something worth living for and believing in. People who engage with their faith move with a confidence that soothes the existential angst of those around them. If you've ever felt the pressure to make a meaningful life amidst cynical co-workers, family members, friends, and teachers, you'll be pleased to know this: we all have a choice.
Faith, in its simplest form, is a belief in something greater than nihilistic disillusionment. It’s the quiet assurance that there’s more to life than what we’re often told. It's a belief in ourselves, in others, or in the beauty and possibilities that surround us daily.
When the world feels overwhelming, when grief feels unbearable, or when things just aren’t aligning, you can assign your own sense of meaning and capture moments that bring you lasting warmth. You’re allowed to have faith in the magic of the mundane.
In a world that often tries to strip us of meaning, the most radical act we can commit is to believe in something — even if it's just the possibility of a brighter future. Faith is not a certainty, but a choice. And in choosing it, we anchor ourselves to hope, resilience, and purpose.
What will you choose to have faith in? - Love, Timeless Clarity

the tradwife movement is the same as it has always been - back in the kitchen, back to breeding - it just has better branding.
when i was younger, i hated pink. i was not like other girls. this is now something i'm embarrassed of - this was not me being a "girl's girl."
but it was expressing something many of us felt at the time: i literally wasn't what girlhood was supposed to be. this is a hard thing to explain, but you know when you're not performing girlhood correctly. it isn't as easy as "i liked x when girls liked y" - because there were other girls that liked x, too - but i never figured out exactly the correct way to like x, or to be interested in y.
now there is the divine feminine. this is the same rhetoric it has always been: women are biologically driven to like pink and ribbons and submitting to our husbands.
the problem is that the patriarchy found a better PR team. because yes, actually, i want every woman to have the choice to be a homemaker. i also want her taken seriously for her legitimate home-making labor. i want her to be recognized as also having a job, just unpaid. i want men to have this opportunity, too.
but it is no longer "i made this choice and I love it." instead it is a sixteen-paragraph rant about how selfish it is that my generation isn't having kids. instead it's long videos about how if you feed your children processed foods, you're going to kill them. instead it is "this is what womanhood is supposed to be. i feel bad for any other choices you're making."
the shame spiral is just prettier. it is large houses devoid of personality. it is the implication: if you don't have this, you aren't happy. the solid, everlasting assurance: women are actually supposed to be submitting. this is the default. this is the natural state of things. all other attempts inflict suffering.
but you can no longer say i'm not like other girls. you can no longer reject this image completely. you cannot find it revolting, even if you know that the underbelly is toxic and festering. sure, it is the same repackaged patriarchy. but the internet does not have shades of grey. you should support and reward other women! your disgust is actually internalized misogyny. not because you are seeing a vision of yourself the way they're trying to train you to be. not because you feel her ghost pass within an inch of your earlobe. not because your father will eventually ask you - why can't you be like her?
because they figured out how to make it beautiful: women will sell other women on this idea, and we will find the singular loophole in feminism. sure, she's shaming you in most of her videos. sure, she implies that a different life is obscene. but she just wants you to be happy! you'd be happier if you were listening!
and the whole time you're sitting there thinking: i'd actually just be happier if i had that kind of money.

Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe – Saint Augustine
Faith is trust in things that are hard to measure with the human eye. But the more you practice faith it actually allows you to see what you have been believing. Have faith that your life can be happy, content, and successful. Even if it is not right now, holding onto faith will help you start manifesting what you want.

A Little Tough Love I guess it is easier and more convenient for many of us to complain, to victimize ourselves, to blame society for our troubles. But, to be straightforward, it is not the smart thing to do. You know me, guys. I don’t like to sugarcoat anything. I have suffered a lot in life, so I have learned much discipline for myself as a very happy consequence. I am tough with myself, so I…

Manifesting Miracles: Beyond "I Am God of My Reality'"
Manifesting Miracles: Beyond "I Am God of My Reality'"
Manifesting Miracles: Beyond “I Am God of My Reality'” Manifesting and the belief of being the “God of our reality” often stir discussions about the true nature of our connection with the divine. Some believe they are the sole creators of their reality, while others perceive themselves as sparks of the divine essence. The crux lies in experiencing the presence of God, or merely reading…

Mindset Quotes and Sayings
All things in life start with your thinking first and your behavior second. Your acts should be in line with your feelings, your values, and your theories. To make a shift, to free up your energy: start by getting your mind right, and then act towards you
You will find when you take emotion out of the picture and give the mindset a good reason to do something, it’s easy to do it and get on with your life. –Lora Jets No matter what comes your way, shake it off and move forward. When you have a positive mindset, you can’t be defeated. –Joel Osteen Individuals in a growth mindset don’t simply look for challenge, they blossom with it. The greater…

I find the fact that the confrontation at the end of UTRH is often summarized as Jason asking Bruce to kill the Joker for him fascinating.
Because that's not what happened.
Jason holds a gun up to Joker's head, gives Bruce another, and tells him that if Bruce doesn't do something (shoot Jason), he will kill Joker.
Jason doesn't give the gun to Bruce so that he would shoot Joker. He isn't expecting Bruce to pull the trigger on the clown. He's asking Bruce to do nothing. To be inactive. Because that will still be a choice, and despite having done nothing, everybody clearly agrees that Bruce would still, at least in part, be responsible for Joker's death.
...And to me, this moment is a kind of- microcosm, of the rest of Jason's point. Because after being captured and carted off to Arkham, the villain will escape again, and will kill more people. The only way to truly prevent that from happening would be to kill them; Bruce refuses to do so, and I respect his right to choose such a thing for himself, but it is still a choice, and if we agree that Bruce's inaction during the confrontation would leave him at least partly responsible for the Joker's death, then we must also agree that his inaction in permanently preventing the Rogues from killing more people means he is also, partly, responsible for all of those deaths.

Please intentionally attempt to see the magic in everything. Everything is magic, even if you understand the "boring" reasons why things happen. Look at the magic in growing plants, the magic of your muscles flexing and retracting, the magic of your eyes and skull, the magic of a cat's purr.
It's all magic. Understanding the "why" is just understanding what makes things magical, it doesn't change that it's all significant and magic.

i feel like some people r missing the tragedy of timebomb somewhat bc i've seen a few ppl say that ekko was only in love with powder in the alt universe and not jinx, and it's like.. first of all they are the same person. they are the same person in different circumstances. but secondly ekko seeing that good universe, i think, instilled in him the belief that fixing the problems in his universe was still possible, that peace between piltover and zaun was still possible, that jinx wasn't doomed or irredeemable. ppl highlight his selflessness in being able to leave the good universe behind, but i think a big part of WHY he left was bc of the hope he had for his world. that's why timebomb is so tragic to me! ekko returned with the drive to make everything right, strengthened by knowing it wasn't some unattainable out-of-reach goal. and he came so so so close but was still a little too late
