One thing that I always think about post-dungeon recovery Mithrun who got home is that people were probably used to talking about him while he was still in the room.

Misiril's squad used to that when he was still in their care. Questions towards him were quickly redirected to others when he wouldn't (couldn't) answer their questions -- where was the rest of his squad? what happened to the demon? how did he even end up like this? Asking or talking to Mithrun is a pointless effort. So they stopped doing that.

And Mithrun, he's gotten used to this set-up, not like he could bring himself to care.

When his caretakers and visiting family started doing it, he continued to be apathetic to them (although, the numbness from this large, gaping hole in his chest makes him think that he used to care).

The caretakers would do their duties, but behind his back, they would probably gossip about Mithrun's chances of recovery. Others think there is still hope, a lot of them think this is going to be permanent. Which is good, at least to their business, because Mithrun's brother pays a lot to make sure he is alive. And Mithrun...is not in the state to do that himself. They at least try to whisper when they're around Mithrun, keep their voices low or mention him under an alias or a codename. But Mithrun knows they are talking about him. He is the elephant in the room.

His visiting family is less nice. They take one look at him and weep -- not out of worry, or pity, or sadness -- but of shame. There is no way they can show him to others anymore, they bemoan. There is no way he can represent himself as a member of the House of Kerensil, they cry. He's just like his brother! And, once upon a time, that comment would've hurt Mithrun, a stab right into his heart. But all he feels is a gaping numbness that cannot be filled (It used to be full, he can't help but think).

I wish he had died, someone from his family said while he was within earshot. And Mithrun, barely alive but still breathing, cannot bring himself to care.

The only person that I think would be delighted to see him alive, at least, is his brother. I can see him visiting Mithrun whenever he can (at least in elf time terms). Talking to him as if he can respond, asking him about things when Mithrun can't bring himself to answer. At some point, Mithrun's brother stopped talking to him when he visits; instead, he would just sit next to Mithrun and watch the birds and the flowers. He would drink tea and Mithrun would do nothing.

But once in a while, Mithrun's brother would tell him, I'm glad you came home, I'm glad you're still alive.

since you're related to ares, it took a while for percy, annabeth, and grover to fully trust you

clarisse being your half-sister didn't exactly help, considering how poorly she often treated them

but after getting to know each of them during games like capture the flag, weapons training, or campfire nights, they came to accept you as a trustworthy friend

annabeth likes you in particular since she finally has someone who takes training and battles seriously

sure, training with percy can be fun for her sometimes, but he has a tendency to goof off after a certain amount of time

speaking of percy, he's the one you can go to for advice

(even though it's mostly him repeating things his mom tells him)

grover took the longest for you to become friends with, simply because you made him nervous

once he gets used to you being around though, you're quickly known around camp as best friends

he's the one you can cause a bit of mischief with

all in all, these three make a pretty good group of friends

and you're lucky to have them in your life!

Hey guys don’t worry about why I’m asking this but say I am in the process of drawing Elden Ring characters as Disney’s the Robin Hood esc furries and I don’t have an exact list of what character would be which animal. Allegedly I already have a few of them planned out (most of the roundtable), but I would love to have idea thrown at me like spaghetti at a wall.

What I did wonder in regards to Curly and his relationship with Jimmy and the reasons they're friends and he's so set on helping Jimmy is if Curly doesn't have a troubled background of his own. Either because he was like Jimmy and cleaned up his act or maybe his family was a mess (like how people with abusive parents are  more likely to end up with abusive partners). His comment on how people aren't slaves to their past felt like he was also talking from personal experiences and that's why he couldn't bring himself to give up on Jimmy. It's speculation but would make more sense to me than some other theories idk

My personal headcanon was that Curly had older parents who died when was relatively young (natural causes considering the world they likely live in) and he was kinda hung up on it and aimless in life. Jimmy latched onto that vulnerability and sorta fed off of/molded Curly into the person he likes throughout the years. It was really based on Curly needing a sedimentary figure in his life and Jimmy needed a something to feed off of, it wasn't always like this but it quickly became that dynamic. The major issue is Curly doesn't realize that he's not holding on to Jimmy but Jimmy is clinging to him.

I think they met young but not incredibly young. Teen years to young adulthood. A song that I think would encapsulate their relationship and how they worked is Ryan and Dave. I think Curly did get into regular teenage trouble; smoking, trespassing, mild vandalism, etc... But he stopped, grew out of it in a normal time frame while Jimmy just escalated. It's one of those cases where Jimmy never admitted how bad some of the trouble he was recover from was or how frequent. Curly helped because he just thought it was minor hiccups in Jimmy's road to progress, not everyone's journey is linear.

I think the idea that Curly had to be as bad as Jimmy or of a similar mindset at one time gets rid of the aspect that some people are just friends with people like Jimmy. Good men are friends with men like Jimmy. It's not always because they were just a like but because they can't perceive their worst actions for what they are, most men like Jimmy aren't just forthcoming with bad shit they did. They warp it to sound like the victim which we know Jimmy does a lot with Curly. It's not an excuse to why he didn't look deeper or think harder about it, but individuals like that sow giving them the benefit of the doubt into the very foundation of their relationships.

It's toxic and parasitic and the host should realize better, but that little bug will do anything to make sure they don't. Even to their own detriment.

Alphonso and Sloane both work for the Commission on spirit-wrangling or whatever it is the commission does. They're a bit younger than Five (Sloane is 22, Alphonso is 20), and are roughly equivalent to Agent Day, for anyone familiar with the original comic. Basically, theyre there to snoop.

Marcus has some kind of band kid rivalry with Viktor. I don't know enough about band to determine what it is, but rest assured that they are very passionate about it.

Paranatural has vampires in it! I don't know what the deal is with vampires in paranatural so i wasn't going to include any, but specifically Fei and Jayme as vampires won me over. They probably spend their time trying to kill sparrow Ben.

Umbrella Ben and Sparrow Ben are both in this au! They're twins :)

Maybe its just me hoping we also get to know more about Wallys time at school (or the people he knew) like the show is doing with Rhonda, but with him mentioning the smart kid he used to copy from and Charlie saying the class of '84 is having a meet up at the school I think they're setting up something? This is such a random issue, but morning crew is a dynamic not just the people who wake up “early” for qsmp. It’s a group of people (Tubbo, Pac, and Fit) who hang out constantly, and have a more familial love for each other. Mike and Phil just aren’t part of morning crew, (in mikes case this is a very much a yet) phil just isn’t part of that dynamic, and Mike wasn’t well awake. Mike, Fit, and Pac are a different group (hideandseektrio) that’s probably going to end up merging with current morning crew. Once Pac comes back and all 4 start hanging out together, it’ll really be a test of their dynamic together. Mike already has a familial bound with Pac and Fit in the same vein but Tubbo just isn’t Mike’s family yet, and Mike just isn’t Tubbo’s. Hopefully soon though, im sure it’ll be easy to flow into.
