A/N: Please consider the timeline. This chapter takes place after the first CA movie. So, Dodger is not in the picture yet.

“Do you want to come home with me?” Chris sways a little as you walk out of the back of the club you were celebrating at. “I got a nice bed. We can sleep the booze off.” He grins at you.

“Chris, I-“ you swallow thickly. “We are both drunk. Well…I’m only a little tipsy, but you are drunk. I’ll make sure you’ll get home safely. Nothing else.”

“You’re so nice…” he mumbles and wraps his arm around your shoulders. Shit. Chris leans on your smaller frame, and he’s fucking heavy. “I knew the moment I saw that video online that you’re going to be the perfect sidekick for Cap.”

“You saw the video too?”

He hums. “They said, look at this video. What do you think?” Chris pecks your cheek as you try to walk him toward the Uber you called before you left the club. “I said you can kick ass, and still look cute.”

Now you regret not giving in to his advances. Chris is nice, and he still smells so good. And he thinks you are cute… “Almost there. We are going to get you home safely and you can sleep the alcohol off.”

“Will ya come with me?” he stops walking to look at you. “You can’t let me go home alone. I might get lost.”

“You’re funny and a cute drunk,” you chuckle, “but this won’t work, Mr. Evans. I’m not going to go home with you.”

He sighs deeply, but at least he starts walking again. “We could have food. Damn, I’m kinda hungry. Do you have cake at home?”

“No. Why would I have cake at home?”

“Just asking for a friend,” he slurs in your ear. “Maybe you got a secret stash filled with chocolate and cake.”

“Nah. I only got a half-eaten chocolate bar. But I think my dog calls dips on that one,” you laugh as his brows furrow.

“Y/N!” He suddenly looks sober. “Chocolate is dangerous for dogs! Did they eat it? We need to go to save them!”

“I was joking, Chris. Let’s get you home.”

He hums and dips his head. Chris gives you a lopsided grin. “We could marry. I know a chaple around the corner.”

“What?” you gulp. “You are more drunk than I thought!”

He drops his arm from around your shoulders to get down on his knees. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” You are full-blooming panicking now.

“YOU GOT PRANKED!”

You squeak as Robert, Sebastian, and the girl whose name you still don’t remember jumping out of their hideout to take pictures of you and Chris. “Now you are part of the team, doll.”

Chris gets back up. He wraps his arms around you, laughing as you mutter under your breath.

“That wasn’t funny, Chris!” you grunt. “I thought you want to hump me like a feral wolf any moment. And then you go down on your knees…”

“Oh, sweets,” he whispers in your ear so only you can hear him. “Only the proposal was a joke. The rest was…” Chris presses a soft kiss to your ear, “Foreplay…”

“Ready.” You glance at the mirror one last time. “I hope the hairstyle survives the next scene.” You chuckle. “Great job as always, Grace.”

You get up to walk toward the door, chatting with Grace. You step outside only for Chris to jump at you, yelling your name.

“FUCK!” you scream as he scared the shit out of you. “I almost go a heart attack.”

“Oh, sweets.” He wraps his arms around you. “Sorry, I just wanted to pull a prank on you to welcome you to the cast.”

“You scared the shit outta me, Chris.” You exhale shakily. “Why are you always pranking people?”

“I’m a troublemaker,” he snickers. “I wanted to come and pick you up for the next scene. I want you to watch me run through walls.”

“You mean Cap runs through the walls, and your stunt double.”

Fuck. Chris is right in front of you, stretching his arms above his head. He sticks his ass out, wiggling it. The fans are right. He’s got America’s ass.

“Ready Chris?” the stunt double asks. He’s warming up too, ready to take over the more dangerous scenes.

“Ready if you are,” Chris says as he looks at the shield secured to his arm. “Let’s break through a few walls.

“And…action!”

Chris starts running toward the fake walls. He breaks through them and calls your name. You easily fall into your role, chasing after Chris.

“Cut!”

You sigh as you made it on the first try. Somehow playing alongside Chris makes things easy. You’re less nervous too.

“Well done, sweets,” Chris grins at you. “How about having a coffee? I need to get my hair fixed. We could talk and pick up where we stopped at the club…”

“East! Come here buddy,” Chris calls for his dog as the bulldog jumps at you to lick your face. The dog waited for you to crouch down to pick your script up. Now he’s having a blast attacking you with wet kisses. “EAST!”

Chris throws his head back as you try to fend his dog off. “Eek…he tries to eat my face,” you giggle and laugh as East won’t let up. “I guess he smells Luca on me.”

“He’s got a thing for pretty ladies.” Chris flashes you one of those heart-melting smiles. His ocean-blue eyes drop to your lips, and he subconsciously licks his own. “Let me help you up.”

Chris holds out his hand, and you eagerly take it. “We could read the script together. The next few scenes will be intense. A lot of running, fighting, and stuff.”

“Sure. I’ll go check on Luca, and we can meet at your trailer,” you offer. There is nothing wrong with spending time with Chris on set. Right?

“I’ll grab us a snack,” Chris smirks. “Come on, buddy. You kissed her enough for today.”

You watch Chris walk away, East by his side. “Damn, it. No. You can’t fall for the star of your show. He’s just a natural flirt. Chris is not into you.”

Right when you want to walk toward your trailer, Chris looks over his shoulder to wink at you.

“Shit. I’m so fucked…”
