This took me a PRETTY long time and also a lot of IRL delays, hence why I'm posting on such a weird day (Monday). But I'm SUPER happy with the end result and that I finally got to draw so many of my favs that I never had before (these were all chosen by me hehe).

Cheesy rivals

. Experiencing rivals to lovers with Spinel and Amethio, Romance

First 2 character ask, I love you vamp anon Amethio's was longer I am guilty of being an Amethio lover(not in a weird way he just is so cool) - 🦇

Warning : Cheesy, Spinel may be out of character

Spinel

Rivals - Spinel was so annoyed when he almost got the pendant by manipulating Liko with his Pokemon then you appear and start acting loke superman, breaking Liko from the hyonosis was his last straw where he just started spamming moves on you and your pokemon. He didn't even care about Liko at this point he was just doing this because he's petty.

Softening up - Spinel stopped hating you which is good, but did you stop hating Spinel? We don't know, he started becoming less mean and snarky to you, always tells his Pokémon to hit the other RVT members. Even his Umbreon started liking you

Liking you - He was shocked himself, like how would he the most greatest and best person in the Explorers fall inlove with a weakling like you who is part of that annoying brats group but it happened so...

Lovers - Spinel becomes a total different person no forced snarky look, but he's smug about it. Like when you start scolding him for attacking Liko he's like "You wanna kiss me so bad it's funny"

Amethio

Rivals - Amethio is a different stories he also hated your guts, but he never hid the fact that he did. Amethio was bold and made it CRYSTAL CLEAR that he hated you more than you hated him. To him you're just another nuisance to him from his success, especially from that pendant.

He secretly becomes more competitive like purposely aiming at you in a battle with Friede

Softening up - nothing noticeable really changed about Amethio he is still cold dull Amethio. What did change a little is his gaze this may sound cheesy, but his gaze becomes softer when you're around, like when he's stalking the airship and randomly finds you walking alone with your pokemon his gaze can't help but soften. Until Konia and Zir said "Boss you alright?" He starts acting professional again.

Liking you - He knew it, but he would never admit it. Amethio is stubborn and thinks things like that are unimportant, so he put his feelings aside and just treated you like a normal Explorers member. It failed after 6 months, but he still didn't have the boldness to do that. You confessed first.

Lovers - Amethio is still quiet and closed nothing changes, nobody noticed anything your top excuses to go walk with him is "I'm gonna go adventure for a while" . In private he's less cold, and treats you like an actual partner instead of just being "A RVT MEMBER" he's not a fan of PDA like Spinel, maybe someday he will be comfortable with that. Amethio is a busy bee, and his old rival being his lover is one of the things he can't process yet.

DIAMOND FUSION BRAWL

This is technically spoilers for my own work In The Rough on AO3 ohoho but I don't mind lol

In the woods neighboring Beach City, through the rustling leaves and branches, a catchy yet failed tune can be heard.

I'll fly like a comet

Soar like a comet

Crash like a comet

I'm just a comet

And then

Some

Say I have no direction

It starts again.

"Nora if have to hear that song loop one more time I swear I'll be on the news."

"I'm tracking his signal!"

Nora Universe, the second youngest diamond after her half brother Steven Universe, holds her phone tightly, never answering or ending the call. She dragged her orange spinel best friend Ana into this endeavor.

"Steven doesn't call me unless something really bad is happening, and I promised to answer."

"Then… why didn't you?"

"Something's strange about it this time. It's hard to pinpoint him, there's too much interference."

"Interference on you?"

"Yeah."

"That is bad. Hey, isn't this where Jasper was-"

Ana was taken aback when she first heard growling, followed by hitting Nora's suddenly-not-moving back, and the subsequent looking over her shoulder to see…

Jasper's camp. But not Steven or Jasper.

Instead, it was someone glowing bright pink, growling, twitching, and slobbing a strange neon spit. Judging by the four arms, it's a fusion. A fusion of Steven and someone who happens to be at Jasper's camp, so really just Jasper.

Neither of them knew, but this fusion's name was Onyx.

Looks like it was a bad idea.

Steven's phone is on the ground, calling. Must've managed to type it in their last moments of stability.

Nora slapped her hand on Ana, calling her to attention to the fact that the fusion had already seen them and did not look friendly.

Steven- or the fusion, called for Nora's help, and no matter who he becomes, Steven does not want to hurt people, and when he does… he regrets it immediately after. Best case scenario, they fight, unfuse from the damage, and figure out from there.

A fight between diamonds… something like that hasn't happened, well, ever basically. Depending on how this turns out…

"But Jasper really likes these woods!"

Ana had an idea. "I know someone that can give them a good ol' beating somewhere else."

It was a perfect plan. Well mostly. Bringing her out had its… downsides. Despite that, the two gems had determined grins on their face. Their hands met eachother, and began dancing.

Right before the big hurrah "See you in a week."

"Not if I see you first."

And their bodies started glowing.

A red diamond and an orange spinel danced around an ever growing shape, before it crashed down into a humanoid slightly taller than their components, four arms, matching her new opponent.

"My my, looks like you two can work together."

Four white gloved hands emerged from the glow, followed by a blue gi and combat boots, a sash swaying in a non existent wind.

Damascus entered a battle stance.

"I bet you want to hit something really really hard, don'tcha."

The fusion of Jasper and Steven took a step forward. Despite the state that it's in, it still has that grin, that Damascus has never seen, but Nora definitely has. That's the grin he makes when he loses himself. That grin is a "yes".

…

"Let's go!"

Kicking off the ground, Damascus took to the air. Flying just above the trees, kiting Onyx farther away from the forest, being very deliberate to dodge in a way where the shields chasing her curved away from the trees.

After the forest was cleared, Onyx was quite a ways behind, exactly what Damascus wanted.

String began gathering on her back. Onyx leapt from a tree and flew to her in astonishing speed. The string got denser and denser, as a gigantic punch was coming directly to Damascus' jaw. She just smiled wider.

The force of the impact would've been enough to knock down trees from wind pressure alone. Yet it found no purchase in the wings of a butterfly in Damascus' back.

Onyx was wide open, letting her get a clean hit to the jaw into a blinding flash of white that dazed Onyx for a moment. A bicycle kick, and Onyx was launched out of the sudden warp stream into its cold outside.

Emerging from it, not tumbling through storm clouds "Welcome to my domain."

Flying through warp space herself, Damascus landed a hit of their own, sending Onyx crashing through the densest cloud they had ever touched.

Onyx recovered midair, leaping off a hexagonal barrier to meet Damascus mid flight, sending her flying through empty space.

Still pisses me off that you hit harder than me.

Damascus knew this space like the back of her hand. Some of these clouds are storm clouds, some are heavy enough to stand on some are invisible, and none of them are Jasper's forest.

And most definitely no human should breathe that stuff.

So she engaged Onyx again, glancing their mighty blows while they blocked hers, before finding an opening with a right hook directly into their jaw.

Onyx recoiled, and attempted another haymaker, which was swiftly dodged. Two elbows to the sternum and a spin kick into another cloud, even denser than the last.

Her hands came together and started gathering string. They began glowing with an intense red aura before being pressed between her four hands. Aiming directly at Onyx, a rain of fire fell upon the rampaging fusion.

Being both part Steven and pink, it was not as effective as it would've been on anyone else. In fact, she probably should've seen this next part coming.

A roar broke through the entire barrage, knocking Damascus off balance midair. Soon, her torso met with one of a pair of… clawed battle shields. One millimeter to the left or the right, and it could've been all over.

Not that Onyx didn't keep trying. Instead of flying away, Damascus found herself pinned into one of their barriers, the impact on her back rattling her whole being. The shields vanished and Onyx grabbed her by the legs and spun her around like a ragdoll, slamming into another barrier, which shattered from the sheer force.

Onyx was rearing up for one final slam.

Until their hand started burning.

They let go of their target for one second, thinking it'd just fling her away, but she was somehow already right in front of her. In the brief moment before what came next, Onyx saw Damascus as a bright red streak.

String gathering on her fist. The string became pure energy. Energy that travels faster than anything else.

Onyx felt the full force of a warp stream in their chest.

Somewhere, on a far away planet, a Lapis Lazuli sits on a planet halfway terraformed. Alone.

She could just start again. Who's going to stop her? That stupid half diamond who didn't want to fight? That Lapis who thinks strength is weakness?!

"What does she know?! If you're strong like she is, why not use it?! Oh sorry, I thought gems were free now. Stupid."

Yelling at the water didn't change anything.

…

"Maybe I should-"

BOOM

An explosion behind her sent her tumbling forward. In the very center she saw a bright pink thing fighting a bright red thing.

The pink thing had its hand firmly on the red thing's throat, putting all its weight into it. The red thing slammed two (of four) fists onto the other thing's arm, causing it to buckle, giving it a chance to free itself.

It used this chance to twist, and slam the pink thing into the ground, where it twisted as well, slamming the red thing into the ground. Instead of twisting again, it kicked as hard as it could, getting the pink thing off of it, where it tackled it and they both disappeared into an unexplainable warp stream.

Every hit could be felt in the air, even though the distance between them and that Lapis only grew.

She ended up behind a rock, scared out of her mind, and rethinking several things. To start-

"I should apologize to my friend."

Back in Homeworld, two quartz (former) soldiers were… counting ballots. One at a time.

"Are we even sure this is one vote per person? Feels like a lot more…"

"UUUGH. This democracy thing is booooring! We've been doing this for hoursss!"

"… Hey."

"What?"

"What if, instead of all this… we just have a big fight! Anyone can enter, last one standing becomes president or whatever!"

…

"That's… a great idea! Let's see if we can't get everyone in on this!"

"Oh yeah! Let's get to it-"

BOOM

The two were buffeted back by the impact ocurring mere meters away from them.

A towering fusion missed a littler fusion, hitting the ground instead. With a ferocity and speed they could only dream of, it was already rearing back for a bubble infused punch on the little fusion.

The little fusion that could waved its hand in the air, putting up a stringy-looking barrier in the air. The barrier shattered the bubble into tiny pieces, sending them flying into the big fusion, giving it several cuts across its body and making it leak a strange red liquid.

Then the little fusion kicked the big fusion in the stomach, and they vanished into a warp stream.

…

"Democracy?"

"Yeah, democracy sounds good."

They would need to recount the votes. On account that they're all over the floor.

The relief of finally finding a deserted planet was short lived for Damascus, as the moment they came out of the warp stream, she was sent flying into a rocky cliff, only not careening into the horizon because she managed to grab onto it, leaving drag marks on its side from the sheer momentum.

Onyx had stopped midair for some reason. Maybe they could tell how the fight was going. Damascus sure could.

I land a hundred hits, and he lands one, and somehow I'm the one getting winded. I don't know how many more I can handle.

Unfortunately for you, I got you all figured out. So if I can't take another hit…

"You're pretty good." For a second, it almost seemed like Onyx growled in recognition. "Unfortunately, you're also…"

Onyx heard a whizzing sound coming from behind them. Before they could turn around, a hand slapped them behind the head, and they spun in the air before stopping themselves.

Damascus' arm returned from its stretched state.

"It."

"GRRRAAAGH!"

A hexagon barrier crashed into the cliff, blasting it apart. Damascus leapt from debris to debris, before suddenly twisting and launching red hot string into the mist. They met two barrier spikes, and they destroyed eachother in the blast.

Leaping downward from a falling rock, she sent another burst of string into it, meeting one more barrier spike trying to catch her by surprise.

A quick exhale.

Dodge left. Dodge right. Avoid the next barrage of spikes by taking off into the air.

The wall of spikes that shattered Jasper once before showed itself again. Damascus dodged over it, trapped it in string and used its own momentum to launch it back at Onyx.

Not being nearly as quick, Onyx could only put up the battle shields, and they shattered alongside the wall.

Appearing through the smoke, Damascus lands a hit. Onyx blocked. Another hit. Onyx barely blocked. Their guard is broken.

Wide open, Damascus landed several more blows before sending them flying down. The pain wasn't over, and they got hit in the stomach by Damascus catching up to their fall.

Outrunning their ascent this time, she built up more string in her hands, from which a pillar of fire lit up the deserted landscape, splitting on the ground into four walls of pure flame, which Onyx was at the very center of!

There was no visible damage.

Red Diamond, aka Nora Universe, her flames can only burn the hard light bodies of gems, not anything else. Not rock, not grass… and not Steven's body.

As Damascus descended, in the spot where a crater would normally be, she saw a passed out Steven Universe and a jasper on the floor.

A sigh of relief, and she scooped him up onto her arms, Jasper's gem in a free hand, and she warped away.

Damascus has little interest in Jasper's camp. She carefully placed Steven on the ground and Jasper a bit away from him before warping out again.

Coming back soon after with a spray bottle of Rose's tears, a flask of alcohol and a very special lighter in hand.

She sprayed Steven over and over to heal any injuries, internal or otherwise he might have so he'd wake up sooner.

Getting some alcohol in her mouth and spraying into the lighter, Jasper's gem ignited.

Steven groaned weakly, and Jasper's started reforming with the help of the flames.

Steven coughed. "What happened?"

"Hey."

"Damascus?!" She towered over the little man, even when she was sitting down (though he was on ground).

"You could've killed me, you know. You're lucky those two were the ones who showed up."

"You…" Jasper spoke up this time. "You beat Onyx?"

"So that's their name. Yeah. Wasn't easy." Damascus stood up and stretched her back. "Just fuse safely, you guys." She gave them an "I Love You" in ASL before turning to walk away.

"I don't want to hear that from you." That's when Jasper stood up which she probably shouldn't do. "I know who you are!"

"Jasper, don't-"

"I know you keep them trapped for a whole week, every time they fuse, you're in no place to talk!"

"Yes." Damascus turned back. "And yet they keep bringing me back with smiles on their faces. Riddle me that."

As she was about to leave again, after leaving Jasper speechless, Steven raised his voice, which he probably shouldn't do.

"Please don't tell the gems about Onyx!"

Damascus was confused. "I- that's- your secret is safe with my indifference." And she warped away without a word. To Spacetries. Least necessary warp ever.

"Are you upset because Onyx lost their first fight?"

"OF COURSE NOT!"

"Maybe a little bit…"

New AU Time

I love aus and this one popped into my mind and I absolutely love it, since both shows are great (for the most part). Anyway here is my time on a Pokémon Horizons x Miraculous Ladybug au (man I wish I could draw).

Synopsis: Eight years ago, the current guardian Friede lost six of the miraculous during a fight with a rough hero. Now that villain is back and wielding the butterfly miraculous and seeking to steal all others out of revenge. As such, Friede must seek new wielders of the ladybug and black cat to stop him and find the missing miraculous before he does.

If he was a boy, and she was a girl, COULD Gadget make it anymore obvious? Gadget is the solo star child between his equally as dorky mother, Arcade & his theatrical- yet too formal for her liking father, Rosali.

Much like her mother, she thinks in the way of math. You ask cub anything about numbers and she will be scattering off for a solution to your problem. Shes a bit of a one-track mind, but it does show her soul twice as bright for those who indulge her interest.

He easily could be considered collaborative to this aspect. Math rock, math & science, geology math- ANYTHING can be math, just her + someone makes a scene feel equal!

Imperial — Boy — Friar/Brygid

Name: Faith

Pronouns: he/him

Siblings?: Half sibling Adaliah

Traits:

Gentle • Calm • Superstitious • Imaginative

Faith is more akin to a graceful doe than a normal Imperial hatchling, with how absurdly gentle he is with *everything.* Though, his big sister Adaliah nor the town was surprised by this softness; he was the child of Brygid, after all.

On the outside, he appears to be pretty calm to most things, and seeming humbly confident in how things would turn out. Whether it be the superstitions in his head that make him confident, or the watchful eye of his family being that guiding light, it'd be hard to say.

It was found pretty early on due to Friar's awareness of his own lack of ability to fly, and with Spinels testing his wing ability that Faith wouldn't be flying very far either. But they do as many wing stretches and exercises as the parents can, to help assure some ability when hes older.

doing this instead of studying. a long ass post because i love symbolism so mych

YUZE

columbine flower - "decisive victory" (yearning for revenge no matter what), foolishness and innocence (a nod towards his childs self personality)

snowdrop flower - new beginnings, hope and rebirth (all tying to him being able to forgive himself and live again)

moonstone - often linked to the tides, and used for sleeping problems (tied to the sea, which is very important to him - and also a silly reference to his sleeping habits!)

the hermit - treason (his parents) and prudence, but also unreasoned caution (holding everyone at hands length)

other than that, his general symbols/themes include the stars and the sea!

ANGE

tansy - "i declare against you," (him being antagonistic towards the society that rejects him; going against the wishes of his family) resistance, revenge (a nod to yuze and their bond!)

daffodil - new beginnings, forgiveness (mostly for himself, but also towards juliet) and rebirth; can also mean "beautiful eyes" (he hates his eyes, since theyre identical to his fathers, something his mother pointed out very often - just a silly ironic reference)

serpentine - associated with snakes and the lushness of nature

the magician - manipulation, illusion (manipulating others into believing his persona), being out of touch

other than that, his general themes include butterflies (rebirth and fragility), eyes, insects and nature in general

JULIET

ivy - fidelity and eternal life (ironically, its the way she knows her life wont be eternal, and how little she values it)

indian mallow - conjecture, love and protection (overprotective nature)

emerald - loyalty, peace and security (her sense of duty towards her family and their reputation, but also the wish for ange to live peacefully and to be safe)

the hanged man - sacrifice, rash decisions and letting go

other than that, her themes include candles (the impermanence of life) and birdcages (core negative beliefs, prison of own thoughts) <3

MISCHA

red camellia - deep desire (just in general - but with him mostly to fit in and be "normal"), humility

red spinel - great passion, devotion and courage (ironic since he thinks of himself as a coward)

birdfoot - revenge (backstory related!), claws (nod to him being a vampire), but also sincerity (also kind of ironic, since he struggles a lot with it)

the star - hopelessness and despair, theft, arrogance

he is also associated with the red moon (death, something bad is coming) and bees (hard work)

ROSELYN

rose - unrequited love, jealousy, respect (all feelings she has towards juliet!!)

"pacific rose" - prestige, abundance and nourishment (representation of her family life on the surface)

rhodolite - overcoming feelings of shame, guilt and inadequacy

temperance - imbalance, discord, and impatience (also relates to her relationship with juliet - but also general imbalances in her life)

her other themes include cards (uncertainty, game) and pearls (journey to perfection)

ORIFIEL

white lily - death, symbol of mortality (his fear of death and refusing to believe hes mortal as a coping mechanism of knowing death will meet him soon)

chrysoberyl - keenness of perception, great clarity (a nod to how perceptive and observant he is)

judgement - inner calling, absolution (the finality of everything), karma and causality (teehee heehee heehee)

his themes are kind of vague, but include the sun, gold chains, stained glass, and anything religious or death related!

Mary Jane Kelley (G.racie D.zienny) never once liked G.wen G.rayson. But she tolerated her. As one does when one is forced to deal with gnats and other such insects. After the whole R.oyal P.ain fiasco, MJ set her sights on becoming the new queen bee of S.ky H.igh and, later, Sky U. When she's out fighting crime, however, she's known as Spinel. (Though she agrees wholeheartedly that the name 'Red Queen' would have been more fitting, albeit a bit too on the nose.) MJ's powers are classified as crystal and gemstone manipulation. Specifically red ones.
