Pokémon Horizons Ship Names

And now for something not entirely off brand for me. I love ship names so I thought I'd catalog every single one for Pokemon Horizons, excluding the really creepy ships. Ponify Your Horizons: Others

Every time I think I got everything I end up forgetting something. This time I somehow forgot to draw Gibeon with the rest of the Explorers so I'll rectify that now, plus some other tertiary characters like Lucius, Lucca, and Alex so that Gibeon is all alone. Shame too, I think Gibeon might be my favorite one I've drawn so far.

Small Details

While watching the shows I love I tend to pick up on some small details and I love to share those details. Here's some things that I noticed while watching Horizons. Do they mean anything? Almost certainly not. Do I think they're neat? Sure do! Anyway here they are in no particular order. Let me know if you noticed this too!

Alex has a painting of Liko in his art room. Its blink and you miss it but its there. I even screenshotted it for you all.

2. Sidian does not have round pupils. Took me a second after just looking at him but they are definitely not round. They're kinda diamond shaped. Love when my favorite characters have little subtilties like that.

3. When the Explorers are all gathered together, Amethio tends to be in the center of the room, with two of his teammates on either side. In their first appearance, episode 6, Spinel and Chalce are on his left while Sidian and Coral are on his right. In all subsequent apperances this order is reversed, with Spinel and Chalce on the right and Sidian and Coral on the left. Even happens in episode 16.

MD Alex and Lucca

I figured since these guys were semi-important characters in the story that they deserved to be drawn as well. Plus, they have the sweetest relationship here!

Just a smol Smeargle man and his big, fluffy Arcanine wife. Yes, I actually drew someone off model for once, crazy I know. But the static art of Smeargle just wouldn't work for Alex since he doesn't walk on two leg, he either walks on all fours or flies every where.

Episode 82: Some Thoughts

One big battle to another. I'm serious when I say I don't usually care for these, mostly because they give me very little to talk about. I'm no good at describing the intricacies of battle so I'll just leave it at, it kept my attention the whole time and was certainly less boring the episode 45. Very proud of Roy for catching Rayquaza, even if it won't listen to him (and considering Lucius is still kicking who knows if it ever will).

Literally grinning like an idiot when Halo started playing at the end.

I'm am still frothing at the mouth however. My man! I wasn't expecting Alex to make and appearance but it is more than welcome. Look at him, such an adorable sweetie pie so happy to hear from his daughter and so proud of her too. And such lovely subtle characterization, with Lucca running down the stairs to watch the ship no problem and Alex tripping instead (mans is really not an adventurer lol).

Which leaves me with the previews for what's to come. And well...

What do you know. The egg is on my face. Don't I look like a sucker and all that. My bad. I'll be the first to admit when I'm wrong and looks like I was big time on this one. Sorry all lol. Turns out Gibeon did have a daughter after all. Which begs the question, what did mans son-in-law do? May or may not throw a wrench in my brothers theory but I'm already formulating a scenario where Sidian is adopted now so I'm still happy.

As for the big preview. Yikes. A whole lot was going down all at once and I for one am hype as hell for it. Big battle against Mr. Big Bad himself. Lucius still being alive. Amethio switching sides (surprise surprise, rolls eyes), Sidian battling again only to surely take a massive L once more (just like I'm guessing the RVT will). It all looks so good. Cannot wait for these next few episodes (except maybe the next one. God Amethio is so boring). Maybe we'll finally learn Spinel's true goals.
