hi! i sent you an ask about Sebastian's eyecolor a couple of months ago which i randomly remembered today when i saw the new art of him you made (which is gorgeous btw), and i was wondering if you saw it? my tumblr likes to pull tricks on me and after i send an ask/reply to something it crashes sometimes (especially if it's relatively long), so i can't tell if it went through, which happened here lol

(this is all light-hearted and /gen btw if it wasn't clear, i struggle with communicating tone in text-)

Hello!! I think I’ve accumulated a few messages about Sebastian’s eye color throughout the past few months so I’m not 100% sure which one that would be specifically 🤔 tbh I’m pretty loose when it comes to Stardew eye colors, Sebastian especially… I like drawing him with the same eye color as Maru because it just makes me happy to give them at least one physical trait in common (even if it strays from canon). I think it also gives his face a bit more warmth :)

I also like drawing Robin with that maroon/brown color for the same reason, even though it’s wrong 👀

(Also I’ll take this as a chance to admit that I’m very bad with answering asks… there are currently more messages in my inbox than there are posts on this blog so I kinda just pick ones at random to answer 😅😅 I do appreciate all of the kind messages that I get in there though!!)

Shane has the Country Caretaker aspiration and is melancholic, a slob, and an animal enthusiast

Sam has the Musical Genius aspiration and is cheerful, childish, and has perfect pitch

I play with some mods that add more traits and I can't remember which ones are from there vs which ones are official 😅

I launched sims 4 for the first time in months and i made shane and sam. every single interaction between these two sent their relationship further into the red. which i think means that i tuned them correctly

When I first picked up the game 2 years ago I immediately went to romance him without knowing anuthing about the games (managed to marry him begore the first year ended) and out of the few candidates I’ve ever dated & married he’s the most memorable (cause of his stupid ahh face)

i just realized something about myself

So in around 2010-2011 i first started getting into fandom activities and i was really into the electric gym leaders from pokemon, mainly because i headcanoned them as all being related. specifically i liked to think that the ones from kanto and sinnoh were actually father and son.

and now that i'm really into stardew valley, i feel like that headcanon has resurfaced and been rewarded in a way i never expected

Your comics inspired me to marry Sam in my co op game he keeps embarrassing me in front of everyone I hate him </3 we all can't stop saying aw yeah pizza time bc of his lame ass </3 he kicked me out of his bed at the end of his 10 heart cutscene to pass out in the river </3 immediately after accepting my proposal he ignored me to play subway surfers on his phone </3 now he stands in front of my cabin like a dork so everyone can see that I am not immune to propaganda </3

I hate him too anon I get it. I never eat the pancakes he makes me those go straight to his mom. In the morning if he gives me a cactus fruit I just give those right back and he takes it like a good boy. Dumbass

Also for that last comic, since familial resemblance was a big part of it i drew an auxiliary jodi along the way to help me get the look i wanted for sam and kent. to check if i was breeding my PNGs correctly
