#Fourfold Soul #<- That's the title of the project I've been working on!#I am very excited to finally show off the cowboy (gender redacted) I've been cooking in a slow boil!!! Yeehaw!#Yes this is the game project. YES I am commited to the bit of having the main character go through a long running pronoun-quest.#This character does not have a name so I cannot formally tag them...#(Okay. Technically they have an internal name for coding/scripting reasons...and I have a nickname for them.#But the important part of making a video game character you get to eventually name is that the name must come from *you*!)#The girl here is a npc so she has a temporary name. So I also cannot tag her. Hmm...#I have several FFS comics thumbnailed out. This one got made first because it's the funniest without context. Lore wise it's weak.#I would love to post the sexy clown but you have to wait just a few more comics.#Fun artist woes moment to share: This is the first time I've had to colour these characters traditionally. *That* was NOT fun.#Going from a specific digital colour palette to being at the whims of my limited colour choices in markers? Hell! On! Earth!#I might also be extra frustrated because this sure is 3x the length of what I usually do for comics! I spent a Whole Day on this.#Past me thought it was soooo funny and needed all the extra panels for pacing. I hate past me. That guy needs to be exploded.

figuring out how i want to draw the nomai, so here's a pye since i am obsessed with her !!!

#i'm alive. simply being chewed upon by multiple things #work is more stressful than i'd like it to be. for instance i'm hoping that i submitted my time off notification for tomorrow correctly #because otherwise it might read as a no call no show and i would . like to continue having a job #now to be fair. i do have it on the system that i requested it at the beginning of the month and i emailed my supervisor about it last week #so even if i didn't submit it correctly i'm likely in the clear #but nonetheless. i also got a firm talking-to the other day and now i am on ✨thin ice✨ for dicking around too much #because they track ur idle time at my work (computer) and mine was Quite High so my supervisor was like man what the hell is this #but even though she was kind of baffled at me spending so much time dicking around #she couldn't even really be all that mad in the end because i'm still doing good numbers and have made no (zero) mistakes #so she was just like. it's kind of impressive that your numbers look this good when you literally have 50% idle time #so she goes imagine what you could do if you weren't wasting so much time #and yeah i can whip out some Really Good Numbrers when i put the effort in.#so the problem is not my numbers it's just that i'm not spending long enough doing my tasks for the day #but i don't want to drag out those tasks intentionally so i've just been upping my own standards/goals #as much as i hate giving any more of my brain power than is necessary to giant corporations #it's still easy to feel smug after you get Talked To and then immediately turn around and show off #like yeah i coulda been doing this good the whole time. literally pulling up by 20 points. i just didn't want to.#trying to keep everyone's expectations low but accidentally toed the line of um. not working enough to keep my job #...anyway. still not over issekai shikkaku im still recovering from the fact that this is the most pained expression that sensei ever shows. a man who is thoroughly depressed hates his own life leading up to his isekaing and actively tries to kill himself 24/7 has his most agonized and distraught look when he sees that the supposed village of love is demonizing someone for not conforming in how they love. it's especially painful because for all of this mans pessimism its entirely self-directed: he wholeheartedly believes that people can become better through and despite suffering and even when encountering absolute monsters and pathetic people in both native inhabitants and otherworlders he still holds a fondness for their complexity as humans and believes that they can always be better, so seeing this truly bleak scene before him does hurt him in a way that quite frankly nothing else in the story does

he also has one of his softest and fondest expressions watching diantha and eliza leave towards their happy future

#theres also a specific angle here too how the protag of No Longer Human (whom this mangas mc is based on) was sexually abused #diantha is continuously pressured into marrying and that eliza was targeted just because they heard she was sexy #so i think theres some personal stakes here with sensei too in how he very much Wants a fairy tale ending for them #ofc we dont know How Much sensei takes from yozo (no longer human mc) but I think its an angle to consider #forgor to add context but eliza was an attempted rape victim too so yeah sensei WOULD want to protect her #zerav meta #isekai shikkaku

what kind of outfits do you think Freyja wouldn't wear? i can imagine her doing everything to avoid having to disguise herself as a common guard but i wonder if there's fashion fashion she avoids.

FUNNY ENOUGH she doesn't mind dressing up for roles at all and will wear MOST things, but there's some specific things she really loathes and would never TOUCH UNLESS it was for a disguise/role. I also wouldn't say she has anything against "common" folk or fashion because she does come from a very humble background herself.

Much like me irl, her worst nightmare is a women's cut fitted tee paired with jeans. It simply does not serve enough and the cuts just could be so much more flattering and it gives her no chance to play with shape/silhouette.

She generally hates/avoids high necked collars that don't go up to the neck because it makes her chest look way lower and she doesn't find it flattering.

Other things she hates is just fully baggy things with zero shape (She'd belt it if she could) and empire waist style dresses or shirts. She fully knows she could SERVE an empire waist, but it feels like a much too youthful or demure vibe for her liking.

#how can you look at the tragically disappeared husband and alien jellyfish aspects of her role in the plot and be like #'oh her motivation is just vanity'#her motivation is that she wants to escape literally into another world because she's fucked up her own life so irreparably #that she can't bear to live in it anymore. she'd rather go to JELLYFISH!
