KICK BOXING

It is a foot combat sport and a form of boxing, based on kicks and punches. The fight takes place in a boxing ring, usually with boxing gloves, mouth guards, shorts and bare feet to encourage the use of kicks. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport. Kickboxing has a number of different rule sets. For example, the /K-1 rules allow Karate punches and back punches, high and low kicks, sweeps, and even knee strikes (to the torso), while American kickboxing is limited to punches and back punches. karate backhand and kicks only above the belt (high kicks) and sweeps. Some of the punching techniques are: Jab: direct blow of the front hand. Cross: direct blow from the rear hand. Uppercut: Upward punch hitting the chin. Some of the kicking techniques are: Roundhouse kick: Strikes with the forefoot or shin of the head or body in a chopping motion. Front kick: strike the face or chest with the balls of the foot. Side kick: strikes the heel of the foot with the leg parallel to the ground, can be performed either to the head, leg, or body.

I like this sport because it helps me to be more disciplined with respect to training, in addition to feeling the need to improve myself every day to be the best, it is also a sport in which it helps to burn many calories, it helps to improve coordination of the body and its movements, greatly improves the mood and in turn reduces stress, thanks to kick boxing you tone the body and increase the level of confidence, resistance, mental strength and optimism.

Ive said this before but swear the biggest skill to learn as an adult is how to resist high-pressure sales tactics. You do NOT have to answer questions with anything other than "Sorry I'm not interested." No matter how nice they are or no matter how many follow up questions they ask or even how agitated they get when you stand your ground. Just keep saying I'm not interested. Don't answer their questions. Don't give them an opening to try to push back on your reasons. Be a fucking brick wall of I'm not interested.
