They could have had Silco being a nicer voice in her head help her find the hope and peace Isha gave her but no, they had to add yet another plot device character to the already crammed season just to make a lazy play at our emotions

Wait... it just hit me that 6 episodes in and we didn't even get Silco being a kind, encouraging voice in Jinx's head

In the few episodes Isha was in, she was able to remind the audience and Jinx of the three most important people in Jinx's life. The fact that she parallels all three of these people at various points proves to me that Isha is the symbolic embodiment those Jinx has lost.

1. Silco. Just as Jinx loses Silco, Isha miraculously comes into her life. Suddenly, Jinx is thrust into the same exact position Silco was thrust into all those years ago. She's tasked with taking care of a small child and having to raise her. Jinx's relationship with Isha makes her reflect on her relationship with Silco. When presented with a difficult choice- do the right thing or stay safe- she goes to Silco's office alone to "consult" him. This can be seen as a parallel between the difficult choice Silco had to make: Zaun or Jinx. In the scene, she says that she probably owes it to Silco to make things right since she killed him, but "I've got something good going. A friend. Maybe that's what I was for you."

2. Vi. Although there are similarities between the relationship of Jinx and Silco and the relationship between Isha and Jinx, the relationship of Isha and Jinx is not a parent-child relationship, like the relationship between Jinx and Silco. Their relationship is more like that of siblings. We see that their relationship is more casual and fun and we see them do things that Jinx never got the opportunity to do with Vi, and things she actually did get to do with Vi. We see in Isha's memories they danced together and parkoured around the city, two things we know Jinx and Vi did as kids. Jinx protects Isha like Vi protected Jinx, but because Vi was missing for such a long time and because she was older and much different than her sister, there were some things they didn't get to do as kids that Jinx is doing now with Isha. When Jinx dies her hair, she says, "You know, I never got to do this stuff with my big sis. She was more into hitting things."

3. Powder. Isha is a small, helpless little girl with blue hair. She's obviously supposed to mirror Powder. We see that the more time Jinx spends with Isha, the less like "Jinx" she acts. She stops being so violent, she starts being more carefree and at peace, and she reconnects with her first family. Isha is quite LITERALLY healing Jinx's inner child. Jinx is even starting to answer to the name Powder, that's how effective Isha's presence is. The resemblance between Powder and Isha is so strong that Jinx tells Isha "I used to have a different name. Powder. It's stupid right? I thought I got rid of her but you remind me of her."

Man I love Silco and Vander so much. They're just so interesting to me.

At the beginning of Arcane, Silco cannot understand why Vander would put down the gloves, why Vander would stop fighting for Zaun. He doesn't– can't– understand why Vander would "make peace" with Enforcers, who always treated Zaunites like "filth."

That is, until, Silco has Jinx. And suddenly he can understand.

He puts up with her behaviour, even threatens those who speak up against her (like Sevika), even when it harms the mission. He would have never done this with Deckard (blonde kid), who he beat and punished for going against his orders. He lets Jinx touch him, lets her handle the most vulnerable parts of himself. He lets her hang around in his office.

Zaun's freedom and the punishment of topsiders was everything to Silco. But not anymore. Now his priority is Jinx.

His face when Jayce asks for Jinx? The way he panics? He doesn't want to let his baby go, doesn't want the topsiders to have someone who is so precious to him. Jinx is his baby.

Silco cannot understand Vander at the start, cannot fathom why Vander would give up Zaun's freedom to protect a group of rag tag kids. But Jinx helps him understand, and Silco and Vander share a drink over it. Over being undone by their children.

Sighhhhh, I love Arcane.

I’m definitely not a blubbering mess thinking about Jinx believing she’s this actual curse on people’s lives, an actual literal jinx. That if Silco and Isha hadn’t found her then their lives would’ve been so much better. That she ruined their lives. That without her, they would still be alive and all that shit.

Because that’s not true.

She was this bright, colorful splatter of paint that made both of their lives so much better and neither one of them would’ve traded the time they had with her for anything, because they loved her so goddamn much.

Even though she wasn’t Powder to them and only Jinx – she was in a no way a jinx to them or their lives.

WAIT DID SILCO ALWAYS KNOW JINX WAS FELICIA’S KID???? DID HE MEET THE GIRLS WHEN THEY WERE BABIES??

Cause Vander did. The memories shown in Blisters and Bedrock are Vander’s.

He saw Powder and Vi as kids, and in the letter we could see that Silco and Vander fell out after Felicia’s death.

Is there a chance that Silco recognized Powder? Because she wasn’t a random child. She was Felicia’s kid.

Is that the reason why he took her in?

And even if he didn’t do it in purpose, it would be just as bittersweet.
