i get that the idea was always for arcane to only have 2 seasons but we REALLY needed it to be 3.

the revolution between zaun and piltover could have been a whole season on it's own if they just fleshed it out right.

jinx got her first period about a year after she was taken in by silco.

silco never even considered the fact that such a thing was going to happen until jinx came flying into his office, wailing.

sevika told her she was bleeding because she had a deadly parasite and she only had 24 hours to live. jinx wouldn't have believed her, but the cramps kicked in and she immediately believed that the pain was the parasite eating away at her insides.

silco FINALLY making his appearance after jinx has been longing for him, and it's when she's at her absolute lowest. when she needs him the MOST.

and it's him telling her that his way was wrong, that the only way to break the cycle of violence is to be able to move forward and choose a better path.

the hallucination wasn't scary, wasn't berating or antagonizing. no scratches. just silco's presence there with her, trying to guide her as he always did but this time he's trying to guide her in the right direction because he (in their strange narrative way through a hallucination) recognizes that he lead her down a dark path by holding onto that anger.

that scene was so special to me sigh.

I think I’m super dumb. In the scene where Silco appears, at first I thought I understood what he was trying to say to Jinx, and I was like, “Oh, okay… deep… sounds like good advice, doesn’t it?” But then later, she tried to kill herself, and I was like, “Wait, did he actually ask her to give up and kill herself??” So I had to replay Silco’s speech over and over again later to really understand what he meant. Now I feel like I still haven’t fully grasped what he was trying to say. Was it actually good advice, did Jinx just misinterpret it?

i think jinx was just at too low of a point to really receive what he was saying in the way he meant it. so yes, i think she misinterprets. the message is that holding onto your anger will keep the cycle going where letting go of it will break the cycle.

when vi shows up, jinx sees this opportunity to break the cycle - by "walking away" as silco told her. but where he meant letting go and moving forward, she takes it as just letting go.

silco's eye being blue in this scene rather than red (or amber, whatever the color is) is supposed to hold some of that meaning as well; in general we associate the color red with anger and violence, whereas blue is typically seen in a better light. acceptance, serenity.

at the base of his message to her is this: forgiveness is the only way to move forward. not just to forgive those who have done you wrong, but - especially for jinx - to forgive yourself for what you feel you have done wrong.

NEVER FUCKING MIND THIS AGED SO WELL OH MY GOD ???

need silco to come back in season 2 as one of the voices in jinx's head except instead of antagonizing her and tearing her down like the others do, his voice keeps her grounded and focused when she starts to slip, slowly removing the vulnerability of her psychosis and making it an asset.

he made sure that the last words he said to her were to lift her up rather than reprimand her or shame her for what she did. while he was manipulative and not the best person by any means, he made sure that he was a calm and reassuring presence to jinx and it would be interesting to see that carry over after his passing.

i think it would make jinx much more of a challenge to combat.
