USS NEW MEXICO (BB-40), Flagship of the Pacific Fleet, passing through the Panama Canal. In the middle and upper west chamber of the Gatun locks. There are two other battleships at anchor in Gatun Lake, the background. She anchors in Gatun Lake while the other battleships make it through the other side of the canal and continue her transit the next day.

It’s been a while since I’ve written a proper story, so I’ve decided to come out of retirement with my faves!

Here are some doodles to go with it! The cake in the drawing is the one Luigi and Peach make for Daisy in the story, and then on the right, I was too lazy to draw the Toad-equivalents of Sarasaland (2 brain dead to come up with name) 😭 so imagine them looking like the children from the Grinch movie.

I have a feeling it would be unlikely, but hypothetically how would clan cats in Better Bones react to colorpoint cats? I'm still trying to understand it, but are their any ethical problems with that, or health issues? I know Blackstar doesn't technically count, but I was just curious and kept him in mind.

No health issues with colorpoints that I know of, have no fear!

Generally if it's just a coat pattern, it's fine. Watch out for breeds that select for physical quirks, like the floppy ears of scottish folds and lack of hair in lykoi and sphinxes. Those usually are hiding something.

But anyway they're neutral on them. Except ironically in ShadowClan where there's several mean nicknames for them; Foodfoot, shroombean, rump-roast, chewsticktail.

This is because midges attack darker colors and the bite of one releases a pheromone for more to attack the area. So a colorpoint cat will just, constantly have itchy extremeties in ShadowClan's marsh lmaooo

Blackstar is used to it, though. It's not unattractive, ShadowClan is just mean.

CHAPTER 11 - THE ONE THAT INTERVIEWED EISENHOWER

November 12th, 1942 - 2100 Camp Toccoa, Georgia, United States War Correspondent Esther Armstrong

I felt different in November 1942. It wasn't like it had been years since arriving at Camp Toccoa or that I had gone though this entirely monumental moment that changed my entire perspective for the rest of my life, but there was an evident change. We all knew training at Camp Toccoa was evidently coming to an end and it seemed that flipped a switch inside my mind. That I could actually do this. There was plenty of doubt that became shadowed by blood, grit and sweat, but once November hit, when there was order and routine and a whole lot of Captain Sobel, I came to the conclusion that I would get past this red clay pit in the Appalachia of Georgia and earn my jump wings. The physicality is a major part of the training of the airborne, but having the tact mentally to convince yourself as well, was a whole other level that had yet to be anticipated until now it seemed. - Esther Armstrong, in her book, Stroke of Luck

a storm has blown bat’s way may they weather it with grace, this is their pasts coming back to haunt them yet again and may hitoya keep his heart light may jyushi stay strong and continue to believe he is so, may bat get a chuuoku stake finally, idk if we’ll get kuukou’s full past with so much plot they might need to establish but may they seed out the foundations for a future explanation here, there may be a point where kuukou makes a mistake sees the consequences of his actions and may he learn that destroying himself isn’t the way to absolve that bad karma it will take time and may he want to walk that path his team instead of shouldering it by himself

Tbh Deimos, Alistair, Raphael and Keros are fleshed out in such a way that they're most likely the first in line to be made into fandomless original characters if I ever "outgrow" From's games and crave creating something that is just mine :') Granted, MANY Souls characters are basically "just a prompt for an OC", but literally everything about these guys is made up except for their amount and story of downfall xD
