One fic I don’t see talked about enough is “Drink it to the Bitter End” by BattleAngel on ao3.

Like, it’s so good???? And while I personally can’t have a say, I’ve heard a lot of others talk about how well the Dissociative Identity Disorder representation is written. That, with the character writing, trauma writing, and over all story makes it such a phenomenal fan fiction???

For people wanting to know more:

It’s a Izuku-centric fic with platonic/qpr tododeku, parental Aizawa, vigilante Deku, and Eri.

There are a LOT of tw’s tho, such as r*pe/non-con (not descriptively written, but very present), body mutilation, ped0philia, human trafficking, suicide/suicidal thoughts (attempted, but not successfully), physical, emotional, and mental torture, death/murder, gore, sensory deprivation, insanity, and probably a few more I’ve forgotten about.

Basically, All for One is Izuku’s dad, and kinda uses him as a puppet. Pushes him towards vigilante-ism at 9 yrs old. Izuku ends up with DID (or, a quirk that works like dnd(stockpiling souls)). He still gets OfA but literally doesn’t know where it came from due to AfO/DID induced amnesia. Each alter has their own quirk from OfA (ex. Izuku has black whip, one has the OG strength, another has Danger Sense, you get the gist). He doesn’t find out about this quirk until after the USJ tho.

Basically BASICALLY, Dad For One Izuku has trauma and DID, chaos ensues.

EndHawks is weird ship that oddly works, and is actually super hot. This fic is hot and sweet at the same time. Endeavor’s kids are little and not super traumatized, just neglected. But Omega Keigo is ready to swoop in and fix this family. Little Sho is so cute in this, it’s actually soooo cute. Also Alpha Endeavor is so Zaddy. 10/10 fic.

MHA/AOT crossover. Izuku and Eren Yeager are the main characters. its actually insane. Lots of Angst. Lots of yelling (of course bc Eren is present). Prepare yourself for this journey.

Not a big fan of DekuBako ships, but this one is good bc Bakugo is an omega and not an asshole lol

Haikyu!!

Haikyu is the first anime I’ve ever watched and my comfort show fr. I think Hinata is by far my favorite character ever, he’s just so cute and such a beast. I also love the side characters just as much as the main. Most of these fics aren’t really volleyball heavy, but it’s the hot characters that make the story *cough* Akaashi *cough*. Some really cute fics in this fandom.

I found this gem on reddit, and I am so glad I stuck with it. One of my fav fics ever. I wasn't expecting much from a Toy Story fandom fic, but boy was I wrong. I loved reading every word of this fic and I ate it tf up. It is so uniquely crafted and beautifully written. Love this fic. 10/10

The show is so fucking hot that I don’t really need to read anything about them bc I love their story. But this a modern day fic with Lestat as a rockstar, Claudia is his daughter, and Louis is Claudia’s babysitter. Very fluffy, angsty, and smutty.

OKAAYYYYY. What a journey. When I ventured out of the Dramione fandom and found so many other amazing writers and stories, I knew I was fucked. These stories give me love and give me life.

Like actually the best piece of literature I have ever read. Up there with Manacled. I laughed, cried, and screamed with this fic. When I finished it, I did not know what to do with my life. I’ve read this fic like three times and its so good every single time. Absolutely devastating but amazing. One of fucking favs. 10000/10

I actually laughed out loud reading this fic. It’s so funny and the writing is so so so good. Their dynamic is so funny and they fit each other so fucking well. Another 10/10 fic that I’ve read multiple times. Its so good

It was at the beginning of this ordeal, when Danny had been falling out of his body left and right. When a teacher had tried to wake the teen and his limp body had flopped to the side, and his head had lolled. He’d slid out of his chair, legs crumpling and twisting on the tile, eyes falling open, unseeing and blank, lips barely parting with not a hint of an exhale even as his head knocked against the corner of the seat.

The teacher had screamed. She’d thought he was dead.

hiii! i love ur writing, ur fics never fail to make me smile. tbh i enjoy basically everything you post <33 (im kind of a damian fanatic lolll) i just wanted to ask what you think of the fanfic "your curse in reverse" by BattleAngel, I recently read it and i think the concept is pretty interesting and i havent seen many fics exploring it. The dynamics and drama honestly got me on the edge of my seat lol, im just glad there was an happy ending :D

I think it's interesting too, not because of the concept, but because of the way Jason was written. It was a different take on him that I hadn't seen before. I was mostly paying attention to how Jason was behaving. I think he really outshined everyone else with his character, Damian included. I wonder how he would act after the ending, if the story had been extended. Speaking of the ending, I thought it was great. Writing short stories isn't easy, especially when you want to compile everything into only a few chapters. They can be left unsatisfying, but I think this fic executes the opposite perfectly.

So I'm glad it got a happy ending too. I have a hard time coping with tragic, loose endings. I tend to avoid those altogether. 😭😭

I like Jason as Damian's father figure, but realistically, I think they'd be terrible for each other. I just like to live in delulu land and make them work in my fics 😂 My Red Pup series specifically comes to mind. I also recall an AU I read not too long ago with a similar concept, and it was very cute. Jason was Damian's dad, but he forgot about it because of memory alteration.

Also, does anyone know what happened to the fic that went on hiatus that was about Jason trying to figure out if he was Damians biological father or not? I cant find it. It was terribly cute and very funny. Eapecially about Dick being Damian's tooth fairy.
