its well established that will is naturally introverted, forced to be an extrovert, while nico is naturally an extrovert, forced to be an introvert. how fucking exhausting must that be? how the hell do they keep up with it all the time? hell, im an ambivert, 50/50, and i still get royally pissed when i have too much of one or the other-- how would they deal if they were on the opposite ends of the spectrum?

i love the idea that sometimes they just have little moments, alone in the hades cabin together. nico talks about anything and everything he can think of, free of judgement or fear of how people will see him. will gets to listen, free of the expectation to respond or to respond correctly or deal with all of the bullshit social intricacies hes always broken his back to meet. they both get to take off their masks, take down their walls, and have a moment of rest as their fundamental selves.

you're correct! 'On Weddings, Roommates & (fake) Boyfriends' is actually the one day title of the fic

the idea spawned out of this art I made of NRU jercy where the events of ToA happen differently and a year later Jason and Percy become NRU roommates

so the fic basically is that Percy gets invited to a Blofis family wedding, needs a +1 (he has some very nosy & persistent step-aunts) and Jason is oh so conveniently available

how does Percy convince him?

he turns it into a competition

they pull off the fake dating really well at the wedding, surprisingly well. the thing is once they return from the wedding and back to NRU, they don't stop...

it's going to be a longer multi chapter fic full of pining, fake boyfriend & roommate jercy adventures and taking way too many words to realise they're actually in love with each other

I need to get a few other wips finished before I'm allowing myself to start properly writing/uploading this one (I get too overwhelmed otherwise oops) but it's definitely happening at some point this year!
