I’m so sorry but in the nicest way possible do yall actually read books or just read words??? Cause I’ve been seeing that trend of people not understanding how “snarled” and “eyes darkened” and “eyes softened” etc. was used in a book and like…

Genuinely, do yall just not have imagination?? Or not understand figurative language??? Also eyes do literally darken and soften have you not lived a life??? How do you read with no imagination? Is this how you get through so many books in one month - you simply don’t take the time the understand the words as they are read?

Just wanted to let you know I've gotten my youtube channel, Tea Time with Tana, up and running! First video will post this week, and stayed tuned to see what the subject will be (Hint: it's either writerly, readerly, tea-ly, geeky, or vintage-y) 😉

They join forces to take down the unexplainable and impossible supernatural activities going bump in the sleepless nights of an otherwise quiet cattle ranch. As the investigation unfolds, so do the secrets. About the spirits that haunt it, and about some of the investigators themselves.👻 Overall, the series will involve ghosts (spirits), angels and demons. > the girl who walks alone : a new collection of poems following the rise and fall of my twenties / trail-blazing behind my first published poetry book, WALLFLOWERS BURN WILD, a reflection of my past with my ex of five years. It is nothing more than pure rage and slam poetry, sprinkled with optimism and slivers of hope. A lot of my poetry reflects mental health, self-esteem, and personality issues. Plus many more. * My stories all focus on the themes of healthy and unhealthy family relationships, found family/friendship, overly complex socio/political/religious/magical conflicts, betrayal, revenge, second chances, and forgiveness, w/ romance and hopepunk happy endings even if it’s a dark situation.

> Tea Time with Tana : a podcast I've been dreaming about for half a decade, but haven't had the means or opportunity. . . until now! But noooo, this is no mere Saturday. It's only motherflippin' International Mother Earth Day 2023!

And it's an important one. In their own words:

"Mother Earth is clearly urging a call to action. Nature is suffering. Oceans filling with plastic and turning more acidic. Extreme heat, wildfires and floods, have affected millions of people. Even these days, we are still trying to get back on track from COVID-19, a worldwide health pandemic linked to the health of our ecosystem.

Climate change, man-made changes to nature as well as crimes that disrupt biodiversity, such as deforestation, land-use change, intensified agriculture and livestock production or the growing illegal wildlife trade, can accelerate the speed of destruction of the planet.

This is the second Mother Earth Day celebrated within the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Ecosystems support all life on Earth. The healthier our ecosystems are, the healthier the planet - and its people. Restoring our damaged ecosystems will help to end poverty, combat climate change and prevent mass extinction. But we will only succeed if everyone plays a part.

For this International Mother Earth Day, let's remimd ourselves - more than ever - that we need a shift to a more sustainable economy that works for both people and the planet. Let’s promote harmony with nature and the Earth. Join the global movement to restore our world!"

1. Are you named after anyone?

No. My mother made it a point to name me uniquely.

2. When was the last time you cried?

When I tripped and fell into a dug grave pit and couldn't climb out. The demon in there with me wasn't very pleasant either. Which is to be expected I suppose.

3. Do you have kids?

HA! No.

4. Do you use sarcasm?

Not as much as Viola. But I've been known to do so out of annoyance, at least that's what Viola always says.

5. What's the first thing you notice about people?

Their energy. I don't trust wishy-washy energy.

6. What's your eye color?

Grey. Or a pale blue. Whatever you wish to call it.

7. Scary movies or happy endings?

I'd say neither. But closet-ly I enjoy happy endings (but don't tell anyone).

8. Any special talents?

Well, I guess seeing spirits and crossing them over to the other side is what some would consider a talent. But personally, I'll toot my own horn and say my poetry is quite good.

9. Where were you born?

Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

10. What are your hobbies?

Trying the local restaurants and supporting local, homemade shops. Hiking, sight-seeing. Just enjoying nature really.

11. Have you any pets?

I have my wonderful cat companion, Kaléko. She's a F1 Serval (Savannah).

12. What sports do you play/have played?

Sports? Mmmm, no thank you.

13. How tall are you?

5'3. With shoes, 5'4.

14. Favorite subject in school?

History! English is a very close second.

15. Dream job?

Viola and I always wanted to own a quirky New York gallery called "Portraits & Poetry." But secretly, our own reality, paranormal show.

"That's a bit of a spoiler, but after some serious injuries in Paradise."

"Me? Kids? HA! No. No. Never gonna happen."

"Noooo, I'd never use sarcasm."

"How they carry themselves and how my gut reacts to them."

"Green. There's a gem called chrome diopside that matches them if you want to be specific."

"I don't know what a movie is, but a happy ending would be nice. Getting it is another story, but I'd enjoy it."

"I have shadow magic."

"In an elven city, I'd rather not talk about it. Sorry."

"Collecting blades. Sharpening blades. Practicing fighting and using my blades. Most important... drinking whiskey."
