IMAGINE THIS…… so Kit and Ty are in a battle and it’s the first tlkof battle and Ty hasn’t seen Kit fight before. like ever. SO they’re fighting really strong and talented downworlders and they are in trouble and might not make it out cuz it’s a lot of people that ambushed them AND THEN Kit just starts slashing up and down with his sword and throws daggers with such good precision AND Ty is just on the side staring in awe because he’s never seen Kit fight before and Kit just so happens to be such a good fighter due to being trained by one and only Jem carstairs and it’s mesmerizing

Author's note; I love the Hobbit. I have some issues with the movie adaptation but that hasn't stopped me from rewatching it relentlessly. The book is like a blanket of comfort to me and I've been smitten with the fictional character of Thorin for too long 🥹

Butter Roll would be a bit overwhelmed by all the random experiments that came to life. Sure, his work was successful, but now he had to deal with a LOT of crying babies. He’d probably be a great dad, but to a bunch of little ones? Yeah- no. He can probably handle four at best and that’s all. Luckily, he has you and the research team help out!

The COD probably step in sometimes to check on progress, but none of them were expecting random little babies being coddled but also studied on. Like- you guys had one job, and you did it…but geez, was all of them really necessary? They weren’t like the Cake Hounds that could be mass produced and used for combat… 😭

Luckily, the little experiments all head to sleep quite often, allowing Butter Roll and the rest of the research team to work on studying behaviors, how well their experiments will last, and if they could improve in any way.
