Getting somewhere!! The Darker Shade of Magic part of the commission is finally starting to catch up to the bat boys.

I like to think that when the batfamily inevitably runs out of money and jobless Bruce, Tim, and Dick* find themselves in financial need, Steph reveals that she's made thousands of dollars taking odd jobs around Gotham City that we just never saw bc Steph hasn't been in a comic for months. Nobody checked in on her and while they weren't looking she made 6 grand babysitting and playing piano at a local theatre. Bruce has to grovel for enough money to buff out a scratch on the batmobile and Steph is revelling in it. This is the closest she's ever going to get to being a supervillain

*(Cass and Jason don't need money to survive on account of being homeless as kids + Babs funds Cass' basic needs and Damian is on his mom's payroll, same w/ duke even if it's obvs not al ghul money)

things essential to prime divide bruce wayne:

- chemistry nerd (has a scent specifically for batman for the sake of the robins; makes his own body & facial care products)

- gearhead (one of his greatest joys is owning a vehicle from a movie set)

- costuming nerd & clothing snob (had to make his own ballet clothes until 15, obsessed with tailoring — check out “dieworkwear” on twitter for how he would know how to dress impeccably)

- secret perfect baritone singing voice (thx to Kevin Conroy 🖤 )

- has been a handservant (for much of his 16th year, for Ra’s household, to instill humility)

- psychopomp

- mostly gay with some exceptions

- can rant about zoning laws that keep thwarting his building projects in Gotham (bc otherwise it would be Utopia) so much it’s basically a special interest at this point

Batman Headcanon (AU)

If Bruce's parent's weren't killed....

(I got this idea from several things : one being Bruce during the BTAS where he lost his memory and how he always uses a person in the comics as matches Malone when he is undercover, The Batman Beyond episode where Kevin got to SING as musical batman and of course the infamous episode of batman singing to save Wonder Woman 🥰🤧 not o mention when the Joker said in Return of the Joker movie he said brie was some "playing Dres up in a bat costume" and lastly the idea of seeing bruce in something so unconventional so I mushed it up together and got this idea 🤗 )

after Bruce came from the movies that he was inspired and knew hat he wanted to do for the rest of his life. it was stop be in movies himself as an actor.

he met zatanna at his 9th birthday and they became fast friends and always hung out on weekends and over the summer.

Thomas and Martha had another child when ce was 10 years old names Thomas Wayne jr.

He participated in school plays and volunteered as stage hands with Zatanna father

he asked out Zatanna when he was 13 but his father said no since she was too young, they started dating at 16. and the he proposed at 18 years old but both parents decided they wait a few years so they did and got married after college,

Thomas Wayne sr eventually released the operated of Wayne enterprises to Lucius Fox so he can resume his passion as a doctor (another headcanon I have )

Bruce met Veronica Vreeland in college and there they created the inside joke " bunny" (another headcanon not original but I stole but I love it. os

Veronica fell for Bruce in school but never told him

he would sign ll the tie around his house or to himself but when Veronica heard him sing, she was astounded how good he sounded and convinced hi to pursue musicals as well as movies. Bruce was hesitant because ehe knew his strengths mainly were with film and he enjoyed theatre it wasn't his passion but Veronica badgered or in his words " harassed" him into doing it.

Bruce broke out into popularity with a musical he did at 22 years old and had a lead role and his voice as well has performance put his name in everyone mouths and soon he was in the films.

Veronica got casted as a supporting role and broke out in her fame then as well.

they performed at award shows during their careers as well.

they both got paired up together often and because they had amazing chemistry together.

they had amazing careers but bruce was her skctive about the roles he took nd all his money he got paid for he donated to charity which he always volunteered ti do with his family. they always fed the homeless around Christmas time

Guess who got upgraded from her Grand Circle seats to a box! I also had a lovely chat with Toheeb Jimoh and listened to Ian McKellen talking about UK theatre history while holding on to my programme. 😂
