I adore this cutie pie platonically. He’s very fun to draw, but it’s both a blessing and a curse not having to draw hands, but still figuring out how he’d hold things 🙀

Reference sheet for Pongo, the Imp Clown - a theme park robot for a horror-adjacent story of mine.

He has many outfits, but this will be his default look. For now, at least. Clownish in a princely way, just as his ego dictates. The second colours fit him better, but the first ones looked too cute not to share. (already rambled about him on a previous post, so won't do so here)

Here it is— the main quintet of characters (And by extension, a logo) for my talk show/news broadcast hybrid animatronic stage show, Showtime at Six starring Ricky Rhino and his pals!

Ricky Rhino's as a stage show can best be described as a 'middle ground' between the vibes of late nineties Chuck E. Cheese as well as the supposed adult oriented vibe of the elusive Zapp's Bar & Grill. It's stage show both children and adults can enjoy!

You can expect me to be posting a lot of Showtime at Six content in the days to come; I'm working on full-body renders for the main cast and am looking into designing even more characters for it. Hoping y'all enjoy this first look!

I've been thinking of effective ways to introduce my Tumblr audience to my ocs. Now I realize, there isn't one. An introduction is foreign to me. My insta audience has watched my little guys develop over the past months, since the start of the year! I'm not sure how many people actively tune into my Tumblr– especially if it's not FNAF or Newsies that I'm posting. what a combination of fandoms by the way

so! I think this will be my last doodle dump for the Playhouse that I'll do for now. I would love a big Tumblr audience for them, but insta seems to be the primary place where people see my stuff. I dunno 🖖

I'll continue to post fandom stuff of course! but ocs I think I'll designate to insta. If you genuinely want to learn more about them, visit me here. there's a highlight on my profile about the story, and I post a lot about them all over my insta.

but who knows? fortunately, I happen to be the most indecisive person on planet earth, so this decision might be subject to change. we'll see :3

Reference sheet for Pinga, the Demon Acrobat - a theme park robot for a horror-adjacent story of mine.

Like Pongo (here) he has many clothes, but for now this is his default outfit. A look that betrays how flexible he really is. The coils on his legs allow him to jump really high, but he has to wear leg protections to avoid debris (or fingers) getting caught in their wrap. Extra info below.

Pinga is based on an (in universe) cartoon sidekick who is quite hazy and frequently associated with rain and faeries. During opening hours he's seen calmly interacting with guests (particularly children and lonely adults), but his main attractions are two acrobatic shows, one performed in the afternoon and another at night (where he works with human performers and Pongo).

His plotline is all about a sentient robot who is in love, and due to mistreatment of what effectively is a sentient robot (plus human interference that I won't spoil here), his love turns to lovesickness. After closing hours he abandons all social protocols and his expression is permanently stuck into a wide grin, lips not moving even when he speaks (if he speaks at all, which is uncommon).

He stalks around the park, and let's just say he has blood on his hands and may or may not have ripped someone's heart to "become a real person". His favourite creepy little spots are the old sewers running under the park, which are no longer active and function as a landfill and **** ******* ****.

I plan on continuing this project so I won't spoil much. He's the more classical approach on a creepy sneaky horror creature with features a bit too uncanny. His face was heavily inspired by 4rt the Clown (censoring so it doesn't show in search).
