yesterday was my first day getting back on my stationary bike since thanksgiving. manifesting my ability to do it again (aka ingesting thc)
#if you have a hard time with exercise because of physical disability and lack of control of muscle tension#obviously do your own research and consult a doctor if you feel the need to before you even try#thc might help you work your way back into (or into for the first time!) a regular exercise routine#the webmd interaction checker does include marijuana as a drug that can be assessed! always check#smoking is processed through your lungs which take damage hard. edibles are processed through your liver#which regenerates faster than thc edibles damage it. in case that matters to anyone#that's why i take edibles anyway. also i hate smoking#anyway! taking an edible and waiting half an hour before you start your workout means that your high will be kicking in about the time#you get finished with your workout - exercise makes you metabolize thc faster#you also get to combine thc high with your after workout happy chemicals and#the dopamine boost will bring your brain to associate physical exertion with feeling Good#which is good! i use thc for muscle tension from ptsd and other unrelated chronic pain#this has been your thc psa of the day#mer rambles

Do you think Anne is a pilates girlie? I think she'd love it but would hate group fitness classes like Soulcycle (and the hype around them)
I think Anne is a horse girlie who cannot physically make herself sit still for more than five minutes at a stretch
#she still does a lot of actual chores around the farm and I think that and riding is how she gets most of her exercise#she says in RTML that some of the other riders on the national team cross-trained with running but it wasn't for her#she did say she likes tennis so maybe she does/did some of that#not to be base but there's also sex#I'm pretty sure their favorite positions include several where she does most of the work#and that they still - look me in the eyes and know I am serious - STILL do it frequently enough for it to count as a regular workout#and frankly? if I had THAT in my bed? *points at Tim* I would too#it's also been reported that she eats pretty light especially when she's working and I think that more than anything keeps her so slender#I certainly hope she's just a natural light eater and isn't restricting/doing anything unhealthy#anyway I am going to go back to my fantasy of them spotting me in the crowd at the Olympics and taking me back to their hotel#to spit roast me#have a nice day

finally back to lifting after a neck tumor removal surgery!!! possibly a bad move to start off this ambitious... but im feeling pretty cool to have done 10 unassisted pull-ups right off the bat! B) im a ways off of my past leg press weight but i'll work back up to it in time! (the bakery cant go out of business like this, i wont let her)
#my left arm feels d e a d though lmao#it straight up wont relax all the way#thats ok tho <3 she'll heal#god ive missed actually using muscles :')#'you cant lift more than 20 pounds for the next 2 weeks and no more than 40 for the next 6' ... WELL ITS BEEN 7 AND A HALF...#i did start to feel some pain at the surgery site :/ so i stopped and we'll try again later this week#but still!!!!!!!#glad to be back ive missed using my body#its been miserable just sitting on the internet and loafing for the last 2 months#and prior to that i couldnt workout for like 3 months before the surgery bc id feel the tumor pushing against my neck tendons lol#and exercise strained it#so all in all i havent worked out like this in 5? almost 6 months?#and i wasnt that consistent even before that#so its been a g e s since i really worked out my arms#so grateful to get to move my body again :')

traditional working out is stupid, find ways to make it fun. Deadass, get some martial arts pads and go to town on each other with a friend. Invest in a foam block pad or a punching bag and beat the shit out of it for 30 mins every other day. do morning stretches and go on an hour long walk/hike. lift your dog. run with your dog for 15 minutes twice a day. exercise has been made out to be some fucking rigid ritual that involves so much time/equipment/technique. you can literally just move around. play fucking wii sports for an hour but get REALLY into the movements of the sport. dance with a friend or by yourself for a while. walk around your neighborhood, go look for birds or flowers. make fake swords with pool noodles and PVC pipe and start a backyard swordfighting club with your friends. do whatever the fuck you want, there's no CORRECT way to be active. The policing of workout culture and whats properly "healthy" be it body types, body fat, workout routine, or eating habits is one of the dumbest fucking things on EARTH. Go have fun. I fucking hate working out as in: lifting weights, going to a gym, using exercise machines. I LOVE exercising as in: swimming, hiking, hitting my friends with things that wont actually hurt them, playing with my dog. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT FOREVER. ANY AMOUNT OF ACTIVITY IS GOOD ACTIVITY. KILL THE GYM TEACHER IN YOUR BRAIN.

#in other news I'm TRYING to follow this workout plan but ough ah my lower back#ooh yikes my knees#for serious though like. it should be that I have to stop because the actual muscle group I'm trying to work gets tired right???? right????#not because my back starts to Feel Bad before anything else#anyway I was like oh well maybe I just need to strengthen the muscles there in my back/core and stuff so this is good and helpful#but hmm maybe pushing through it is not the answer because now it still Feels Bad in a way that does not feel like muscle soreness yk#and I don't think it's a form issue because it's a problem for me with various otherwise unrelated exercises#(also how does anyone do enough squats-adjacent stuff to actually make a difference without taking video-game style damage to their knees??#asking for a friend
