Of course he did. He’s looking at Harry like the man just asked him to spare a kidney. Rightfully so, perhaps—it’s not Harry’s finest proposal by far, of the whopping two in his life—but he’ll be damned if he’s backing out now.

“I love you, you sod. Marry me.”

Draco blinks, then scrubs at his face in a daze, then seems to deflate in that not worth the argument sort of way that’s commonplace after a decade. “Christ, you’re insane. Fine.”

“Is that a yes?”

“Yes, Potter. Yes.”

Harry grins. “Thought you’d say no.”

“I should, just for that. Prick.”

The kiss Harry gets is bruising, punishing, revenge for springing this on him at nine o’clock on a Sunday morning before he’s had his coffee—but the hands on Harry’s hips are gentle, hiding nothing, betraying everything.

i dont think draco would care that harry was powerful.

think about it. draco knew full well harry destroyed voldy as a toddler and still bullied him. then he lived with one of the most powerful wizards of their time and was afraid yes but also incredibly unimpressed by voldy as a whole.

the only way he would care about harry being pwerful is that it would give him incentive to become just as powerful if not more. he wouldnt care to look at harry with starry eyes bc he would be like “psh, i could do that if i tried. obvs i just haven’t tried yet.”

ex. harry uses wandless magic, draco: i didnt know we could do that… bet i could do it better than you. how long did u practice for? i could probably do it half that.

I’m so flattered and moved you found inspiration in my drawings. Even if you don’t art today, you might art tomorrow, and I am wishing for that day where you don’t feel like you are fighting yourself and get to make something that brings you satisfaction and joy.
