LISTEN, all im saying is yknow how Wei Wuxian lay under the night sky constantly telling himself to just consider it a debt repayment and failing to convince himself about the core transfer at all. Living onwards, maybe even outright ignoring it after until Wen Qing showed up straight at his door, a reminder of the core and cultivation he's lost, but that's not whats important. Do you guys think he was living day to day life in burial mounds and starting to think 'its not so bad living without a core' do you guys think he looked up at the night sky after drinking the wine uncle four made specially for him and thought 'its not so bad on the ground?'

and then it all came crashing to hell and i just think i made that one fucking line worse for myself when wwx was running after wen siblings after 3 days lying helplessly "where should he go, it felt like the world had no place for him in it at all"

As much as I adore Lan Wangji taking Sizhui in and raising him like, hello this is my perfect son who I adore his name is I Miss My Dead Husband. There's al most nothing I love more than mdzs aus where A-yuan is raised by Wei Wuxian in the Burial Mounds and is still his adorable sweet little bunny self but also becomes a creepy ass Yiling Patriarch Jr.

🎃Day 31: Wei Wuxian's Birthday/Halloween🎃

You cannot convince me that WWX would /not/ drag his little family out trick or treating for his birthday, and make them all wear matching costumes.

And with this... ✨ that is the end of inktober 2024! ✨ I'm proud to report that I officially survived all 31 one days, and managed to do mostly full illustrations for every single day of the challenge. Honestly, even looking back at it now, that was bloody wild- I can't believe I made it!!

That being said I'm definitely going to need a break for a little bit now...

Lan Zhan lives because despite the love of his life being gone, a child comes to visit him everyday. Lan Zhan lives for the sake of a child barely protected from the cruel hands of the cultivation world first by his birth parents, then his grandmother, Wen QIng and Wen Ning, then Wei Wuxian and finally Lan Wangji. Lan Zhan lives for his child, his and Wei Ying's son.

Wei Wuxian with a little eldritch guy hanging off his shoulder telling him to be bad but WWX just pats its little demonic head and say don't worry sweetie I'll feed you when we get home.

It's a really snarly looking fella and Wei Wuxian just coos at it and calls it cute pet names and gets a kick out of naming it Angel. It makes the eldritch guy angryily puff up all adorably so of course he just becomes incorrigible with the sweetheart nicknames.

Wei Wuxian who tames a centuries old demonic entity that latched onto the resentment only to turn it into a glorified toy poodle he carries around in his little tote bag and every once in a while it pops up to ask ₩Ɇ ₭łⱠⱠ₴ ₮ⱧɆ₥? and wwx just pets its creepy little head and says "Nah, they're just having a bad day it's fine." And then they both see someone litter and share identical looks and decide yeah we can get that one.
