Honorable mention to Bingus and THANK YOU THANK YOU to all the haunties who came to the meetup after the ceremony ended!
definitely do not listen the ending of ep 8 thru your headphones. definitely do not do that. don’t listen to the way joel’s voice breaks when he calls ellie baby girl. don’t listen to the incoherent traumatised mumbling sobs that ellie is making.
if you value your heart being in one whole piece, don’t do that.
Every day I wake up at 2 AM for my work shift and listen to Episode 11 : Am I Alone Now? just so I can start my day off on the right foot - listening to Dr. Hilbert be weird <3
Over the weekend, my audio drama, Alpha 8, won the award for the BEST SCI-FI/FANTASY PODCAST at the @lawebfest2024. This came as a surprise to me, as I did not anticipate it. Originally, I wanted to create a prequel to my feature-length screenplay, but it turned into an entire series, focused on a different character.
And on Sunday, Alpha 8 earned the BEST SOUND MIX - PODCAST at the Miami Web Fest.
I am thrilled to have won both awards, especially since it's my first time directing, producing, and writing an audio drama. I would like to express my gratitude to the judges, the festival, and all the other creative individuals who inspired me. Special thanks goes to my Sound Designer, XperienceJ and the entire cast and crew.

Just listened to the audio equivalent of the Transformers movies. It's like listening to looking at a high budget trainwreck but you can't look away (despite not understanding a thing)

Songs Not Even Nominated | Tales From Hollywoodland
Classic songs go with Oscar telecasts, but it’s simply amazing how many classics were never nominated in the Best Song category. This week on Tales from Hollywoodland, Arthur, Julian, and Steve examine the musical track record of the Academy Awards, wondering aloud how so many songs not only didn’t receive Oscar gold but weren’t even nominated – “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, “Singin’ in the Rain,” “To Sir with Love,” “Staying Alive” – they all came up empty.
